Can I travel to Santorini Greece with the Discover EU pass?Best regards,Shahwaiz
I created a trip on the mobile app from Rome at 06:25 to Milan at 09:24. But when it was saved to my trip it had (+1day) next to the arrival time. When I deleted and re-planned it the same thing happened. If I try to get a seat reservation for a later part of the trip, it tells me I would still be on another journey. How do I fix this?
Hello everyone,I have a question as I’m making my train reservations for Europe.I have a Eurail Global Pass and trying to make a seat reservation on Eurostar from London to Paris. But then I noticed Eurail reservation page doesn’t show certain times on the list but found Rail Europe has them available. For example, Eurail site doesn’t show 12:31pm - 16:01pm, but it shows up on RailEurope search.I want to check if this is neglected on Eurail side and nothing wrong with RailEurope as it shows up on Eurostar site as well.Thank you.
Hello everyone,I need to choose between a mobile or paper pass. I need to buy it now, because it’s a gift but I need 2 informations:the date of issue can be different of the date of purchase in the paper pass. But is it the same in the mobile pass ans how? Because no date to enter when buying it... the number of the ID card will change because it expire between the purchase and the travel, is it the same approach and cost with paper or mobile pass? Thanks
Hi everyone, I booked a ticket for 1 April from Aachen to Bordeaux which would travel through Belgium, I received an email stating that this journey is cancelled due to strike action in Belgium, the only other option I can find is from Aachen to Frankfurt, and then from Frankfurt to Bordeaux, it does make the journey longer, but it is still manageable, not having travelled much by train in Europe before I would just like to find out any comments if this is a workable solution, departures further north of Frankfurt still use the route through Belgium, welcome any advice, thanks Andre - South Africa
I plan to purchase the 6Days Pass (2 international and 4 domestic) for island hooping in greece. Anyone has an experince using this pass und do you have tipps you can share ?
Hi everyone! I’m hearing mixed things about whether seat reservations are required in the UK. I will be traveling from London to York and then from York to Edinburgh in August 2025. Does anyone know whether I will need to have seat reservations?I’m also having trouble booking seat reservations from Amsterdam to Ghent, Beliguim (also in August). It says that they may all be booked up. It seems like that would be very early to book up but, if that’s the case, does anyone know how else I can make that trip?Thank you!
An itinerary was previously suggested to me for a route from Geneva to Naples, the first leg of which is Geneva to Domodossola.I am trying to book this. Firstly, I thought because the journey starts in Switzerland, there would be no reservation fee. Bahn.de shows a fee of €5.20 each, but I cannot proceed with the purchase, i cant buy on obb and Rail Europe states seat reservation is to be bought at the station, quoting no fee.Firstly, how do i buy at the station? We arrive in Geneva the night before, so could we buy it then, or must it be purchased on the day?Are there normally queues at the ticket offices at 7:00am, or are they even open?My language skills are basic, so being able to buy with minimal conversational interaction is preferable, which is why i wanted to buy onlineAdvice would be appreciated, thanks.

Hello! I am Furkan, I am currently an Erasmus student in the Netherlands and considering purchasing an Interrail Global Pass (not Erasmus Pass) to travel across Europe during my exchange period. My plan is to take multiple short trips (4-5 days each) and return to my Erasmus city in between. I will buy the 3 months in row Global Pass ticket.I understand that the Global Pass can only be used outside the country of residence, but I live very close to the German border and can reach a train station in Germany for about 4-5 euros. My plan is to purchase a ticket from my location (Netherlands) to Germany each time I travel, then use my Interrail Pass from there. I would do the same on my return journey—using my pass until Germany and buying a separate ticket back to my city. Would this travel pattern be allowed under the Interrail Global Pass rules, or would it violate any regulations?Additionally, I am a Turkish passport holder, but I currently have a Dutch residence permit valid until Oct
Hi,Ive recently started looking into interrailing. Ive decided a global pass looks most suitable for me. I want the freedom of visiting a country and deciding how long I want to stay there once Im there, instead of booking it all in advance. I worry that I might only put aside 3 - 4 days in one place, and once Im there discover I want a bit longer. Therefore, Im asking how realisitic is this? Could I book each ticket to my next distination a day or two before? And once Im out of tickets just fly back home? For reference, Im thinking of going throughout September and most of October. Thank you in advance.
Rail planner shut down now ?
Hello,I am interested in the “4-days travel within a month” pass.I know that for a paper pass you must mention the start date. But it is not clear to me if it is the start date of the mentionned month - and then I can chose which one are the four days within this month. Or if it is really the first day of the four days.Thank you for your answers !
Buenos dias! con nuestro pase interrail tenemos descuento en el Ferry entre la estación de tren de Hallstatt, Austria, y el pueblo? Gracias :)

So myself and a friend are heading interailling this summer. We’re hitting a LOT of countries and are very interested in outdoor pursuits such as hiking, sailing, swimming, surfing etc.Our question is two-fold;Firstly what sort of bag should we bring? Our flights come with a 20kg check-in bag, so we are torn between a suitcase and small day hiking rugsack or a backpacking rugsack or a backpacking rugsack and a day hiking rugsack.Which makes the most sense in terms of getting about from train station to hostel etc. We don’t want to be lugging a suitcase around the city for hours but on the other hand we’re not sure if giving up some of the extra storage space is worth it.It may be worth noting we will be visiting a range of climates from med to germany in early early summer. Secondly what should we pack? Is there many opportunities to wash clothes, are there any other essentials etc. Lastly how have people found sleeper trains? How much should they cost? We can get seats with our reserv

Hello, we were planning on taking the Caledonian Sleeper from Edinburgh to London before travelling onwards to Strasbourg. The Sleeper leaves Edinbugh at 23.40pm but I understood that the travel day starts at 00.00 CET so I could enter train manually onto mobile pass as leaving at 00.40pm, avoiding using 2 travel days.I am now reading the rules changed as of January 2025 and now it is local time that counts. The information on the website still refers to pass running on CET but terms and conditions says use local time.I am very confused, can anyone help?
Because my wife can’t fly, we want to get the train from London to milan. Leave 31/8/25 and return 14/9/25. I’ve tried to look on the site but am struggling to find the options I want. I don’t know which type of pass I need for the trip. Needs to be a direct route as well, as we are going to tour Italy by car in between.
