Hey guys! I’m 19 and I’m going to be travelling from the 11th to the 30th of June, probably with a friend. I’m looking for people that are going to be travelling in the same period and people from these cities to show me around. (Plus if anyone has a free couch it’s appreciated because I’m travelling on a budget!)These are the cities I’m going to visit:-Freiburg in Breisgau 11-15 June-Amsterdam 15-17 June-Berlin 17-20 June-Prague 20-23 June-Budapest 23-27 June-Vienna 27-30 June(maybe Paris too)
? Merci de votre aide
I would like to know how many times I can travel to/from Italy on a one-country pass for Germany.I am a citizen/resident of Italy. I see that OBB/DB trains to/from Venice, Verona etc are included in the pass. Does it work as for the global pass, so that I only have one inbound and one outbound trip available, or can I travel between Italy and Germany as many times as I like?To make the question clearer, I need to travel to Germany and back to Italy twice in two weeks. I would then buy a 4-day one-country Germany pass. Can I simply use the pass for both trips? Or do I need to buy regular tickets from home to the German border (Kufstein I would guess) for one of the trips? Also, is there a reservation fee on the trains from Italy to Munich, as with the global pass? All this is not really explained in the dedicated one-country pass page.Thank you for your advice.
Hi, I have made reservations on NJ 403 which is running from Amsterdam Central to Basel SBB. I have got 2 berths both of which topmost ones- one each side, in a 6-berth-couchette. I used https://www.vagonweb.cz/razeni/vlak.php?zeme=SBB&kategorie=NJ&cislo=403&nazev=&rok=2024 for checking berth position. How can i change the berth numbers to lower or at least middles?TIA
Merci beaucoup !
I want to visit a lot of countries, but I don’t know where better xD, please tell me if there are routes where the FERRY with Interrail is free or for almost a penny

Hi,I am travelling to Italy, Switzerland & France. During this time I will be using trains and buses to travel from one place to another. My question here is if EURAIL pass covers the following train journeys completely or just provides some discount.“Venice-Como-Zurich-Rhine Falls- Lucerne- Interlaken-Paris. I will also be travelling to Mt. Titlis, Grindelwald, Lauterbrannen and Lake Brienz.”Additionally, Once I purchase the EURAIL pass can I directly hop on any train or do I have to make reservations first? If I need to make reservations then is there a particular website from where I do that or it can be any third party website like Omio, Trainline etc.? I understand that this question might have been asked multiple times but I am confused on this topic.
Hello all, Advice from experienced interrailers needed! We are travelling around a few countries in Europe for a few weeks in the summer and currently have booked the Paris-Salzburg sleeper, arriving in Salzburg 7th August. The next thing we have booked is a week in Tuscany from the 15th August. My question is how best to spend that week in between? I had thought to do Ljubljana-Pula, then Pula-Venice by ferry, then Venice-Siena, but I’m not sure if that’s a bit complicated and we’ll end up with not much time in each place? I would like to visit Slovenia and Croatia if possible but am aware it would only be a flying visit if I squeeze it into this week, plus there’s the additional cost of the ferry to think about. Could anyone either reassure me that the above plan is ok, or suggest an alternative which wouldn’t be too stressful but stops at a couple of nice places? Thanks very much - appreciate your time :-)
on August 1st I wanted to take the train from Bern to Basel number ic 984 at 8.04pm and Basel Berlin number ic 604009 at 9.13pm but I now notice that at the exact same time a NJ 409 NIGHTJET also leaves, how is this possible??

Hi, I'm having great difficulty booking seats on two French trains on August 7th. the site tells me they are sold out but apparently all the dates between now and October are sold out which seems very strange to me. in addition, the normal ticket can be purchased without problems from the snfc website. on the website https://www.raileurope.com/ it says that I can't buy the ticket with my pass, I don't understand why. For me it is essential to arrive in Barcelona on that day otherwise I will miss the whole trip, thank you very much in advance😭
We are trying to book a train from Interlaken to Rome. At one transition, (Domodossola) the site says “You need to buy a seat reservation to board”; however, there is not a place to purchase a seat. At the next stop (Milano Centrale), it says the same thing, but with an option to purchase. Does this mean the train at the Domodossola is sold out? Also, it says BUS operated by Ferrovie dello stato SpA; does this mean an actual bus, or is it still a train (the other transfers say Regional Train). Thank you.
Hi I was checking Amsterdam Centraal | A brief station guide (seat61.com) , where it is written I can use Interail/Eurail QR code to go through gate pass. I want to utilize Interail pass for Amsterdam Centraal to Zaane Sachan trip via Sprinter. Since this journey doesn't require a seat reservation, I would be going thru gates by Mobile Interail pass only. Now i have 3 passes in one mobile for 3 passengers. How other will scan the code if I will go through first with my mobile (and other two pass QR code in it) . Littel confusing. Could someone help here. TIA
I am traveling from Brussels Midi to Amsterdam Central tomorrow morning at 9:52 however I am seeing pass is not in network on Raill planner. Please advise
Hey!I’m actually planning my trip right now and I wanted to ask something just to be sure. I’m planning to visit an Italian friend during my trip and I’ll be staying to her place in Padova. We’re planning to go to cities near hers. So I wanted to know if for example I go from Padova to Venice and in the same day go back to Padova it’ll still count as 1 day of traveling right?
I am planning a trip from Germany to Vienna for 2 nights and then on to Hungary for several nights. At some point on the way back I will travel from Hungary to Linz again for 2 nights and then on the way back to Germany. That's 6 days of travelling, right? So a global pass for 6 days? I live in Germany.
I am going to take a day trip from London to Stratford-upon-Avon. I am looking at round trip from London Euston Station to Stratford in July 2024. It is an express train to Birmingham then regular train to Stratford. On the Eurail app it says seat reservations needed. When I click on it says 1st class or 2nd class. I clicked 1st class and nothing happens. Is it too early for seat reservations? Do I need to look at another site?? Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.
My family purchased the Eurail pass and we all added them to our phones. My mother in law started the booking of the trains on her phone and linked each pass to each persons eurail information/pass number. I have received email confirmations of bookings. How do I add these into my app? I would’ve assumed they would have immediately linked to my pass, but I cannot figure out how to get them on my app now.
I have plan a trip to Scandinavian from Berlin. When do I need to make the reservation of the seats? Must it be in advance or at the same day of the trip. I have bought a global pass first class and do I also need a reservation? I also read from another travellers that they experienced problems with reservations.Furthermore, there are any ideas to visit in Scanadinavian?ThanksAna
Hello,I am finding the P&O website impossible to use. I want to cross the Channel on May 21. Directferries gives the time of the only departures available as 06:40 and 8:20, but my date and any other date I enter is labelled Sold out! This is clearly impossible, and so I am willing to arrive to Calais as early as I can by train from Lille, hoping to get a bus there from Calais Ville to the ferry port, or if necessary a taxi. Are there any later ferries? That would help.Is this doable? Thank you for your help,Brian.
The website from Interrail shows my itinerary and also shows that no reservation is needed. However, my app on my mobile phone says that this route can not be found. What does it mean? Why is there this discrepancy? Thanks
I bought a watch in Zurich (more than 300 chf) but I am leaving Europe from Paris, not Switzerland. My train to Paris is from Zurich HB tomorrow early morning. Do they have a tax refund place in Zurich HB? What is the process? How much time do I need for this purpose?
Purchased a Interrail pass for myself & my son yesterday for our trip to Germany from UK at the end of June. Managed to add the route to “my trip” & purchased the seat reservation for Eurostar through interrail website. When I go on my reservations it says “more details required” but I’ve done all that on the Eurostar website & have received my e-ticket via email so not sure why I’m still getting that message. Also couldn’t book seat reservation on high speed train from Brussels via interrail so had to do on DB website, will I just need to show email confirmation of seat reservation on that train if asked?Apologies for the long winded question but I’ve been having real difficulties with this since early yesterday.
I bought a mobile Eurail Pass "7 days in 1 month 2nd class" for the first time. I’ll be in Europe from May 6th to May 22nd and I’ll take trains in 7 days within that period:a. With mandatory reservation, for example Eurostar (I already bought the tickets paying a discount).b. No mandatory reservation (I still bought the tickets to reserve a seat).c. Without the possibility of reserving a seat (I’ll show up at the station and take the train by showing the pass). My questions:1) I arrive in Madrid on May 6th, and I'll take the first train in London on May 13th. Can I activate the pass in Madrid?2) Every time I take a train, do I have to show the pass on my cell phone (plus the corresponding ticket in cases a and b)?3) I bought some tickets through Eurail.com and they appear in the application's "Reservations Overview". I bought other tickets through RailEurope or from the railway companies' websites (always indicating the pass number) so those are not listed in Eurail app. Do I have to u
