We will use our Global 1st class EURAIL pass for the first time on 07 May. We are using the rail planner app and have planned a trip from Paris Gare de Lyon to Mulhouse Ville. Seat reservations are required and we have booked seats and printed the confirmation. We are seniors and have not travelled with a EURAIL pass previously. We will take the train from Chatelet Les Halles to Gare de Lyon (I don’t believe that I can use the EURAIL pass for this trip. Please confirm that this is the case). My question is about what we need to do when we get to Paris Gare de Lyon. Who/Where do we present our mobile pass? We do not speak French and do not want to miss our train. I am sure that there will be people at the station who can help us but I would like to know in advance what to do. Thank you for your assistance. 

Hiii, Me and my friend, both 18 years old, are planning to do our first trip together this summer. We want to go in september for two weeks and since we are students we´re on a low budget so we´re thinking of going to east Europe. Maybe Vienna, Budapest, etc. We would be leaving from antwerp.If anyone has any tips or destination ideas, please let us know because we are looking forward to a new adventure but a little inexperienced. :) 

Booking from Bucharest to Budapest for June. Reservation gets added to my cart but then I get the error message ‘Technical issues: some trains can't be booked with us right now. See other ways to book here. Please check again shortly!’ Is this a bug or a feature? I can book direct via the Romanian operator so there is space available. Any ideas if this is an issue with the interface with the Romanian operator that might be sorted shortly or do i book direct?

I have trips planned on my mobile app. There are fees due. How do I pay for the fees?

Sincerely ;) I'll keep it simple (we could go into more detail) I plan to make 4-5 X round trips between a city in my country, Switzerland, and another city in Hungary over 2 months. That is : Moutier (CH) -> Bük(HU)  then Bük(HU)  ->Moutier (CH) (back)I know there's a 10-trip/2-month pass available.Is this the right solution?I have other questions, but this one is crucial before going any further. I apologize for my lack of understanding. 🙄 Papi1957Merci ;) 

Hey:)I've just bought a relatively large (60+10 liters) backpack for traveling. When I got home, I noticed that I can only get into the large compartment from the top. And I can't open it at the front like a travel bag.What do you think? I've never traveled with a backpack before? Is that a disadvantage? Should I exchange it?

From Zurich, What is the cheapest way to go to lucern and mt titli for tomorrow w/o Global Pass? I have one day left in my Global Pass but I am saving that for going back to Paris from where my flight to home is. Google maps is showing to take IR70 from Zurich Hb to Lucerne. And then IR from Lucerne to Engelberg. Would it be better / cheaper to rent a car for the day? 

Hi there, the last time I spent a long duration in Europe was over 25 years ago, and at that time I carried cash with me and credit cards. These days, I’m mostly cashless, but I would like to have some local currency with me on this trip – all countries will either take the British pound or the euro. I’ll primarily be using my credit card – I hope - on this trip as that is the easiest from my perspective. But does anybody have any recommendation on how much cash per day I should have just for incidentals? Assuming England, France, Italy, Croatia, and Greece will except a credit card, and I won’t need much cash on hand? Thank you in advance for any help

Hi, we will be missing our train today’s 10:06 Tirano to Chur Bernia express train. If we take a later train, would we be still able to see the same views? 

HiI am new to the community. I am trying to reserve a seat from London to Glasgow. On Eurail reservation site it says you have to reserve a seat by paying 10 Aud but in the Rail Europe web site it says that a reservation is not required. Both trains are Avanti west coast and at the same time. Which site is correct? If a reservation is not required can we sit in any seat? Thank you

Hi, my global pass trips is showing 5th travel day as today. Even though I did not have any travel today and nor did I had any activated trips. Now I don’t see an option to cancel/ remove it as my travel day. How do I resolve this?

Hey everyone, Hopes everyone is doing well.Me and my friends are looking to book our seat reservations for our trip in July. But, what a surprise, when after the second destinations we saw that we can’t book any Trains for the rest of our trip.Reason : “Tarifs unavailableThe search for fares did not yield any results. The places reserved for Pass holders are probably exhausted. You will find other options at the bottom of our schedules.”We tried to book last week and it told us that we had to wait 90 days to get the seats available and now, 7 days later, it’s impossible to book them. Kind of strange when we try to book 2 ½ months before the trip. Like Interrail said multiple times on their website, 2 months before the trip is ok to have all of your seats. Do you guys have the same problem ? Any helps appreciated. Thanks travellers!Regards. Greg

I am not seeing direct trains from venice to milan on aug 4th evening and milan to interlaken ost on aug 7th morning. Please help. I have global pass. Looked in rail Europe.

Hi, I have 3 days left to my global pass.Tomorrow April 30th, I will be traveling Venice - Rome, May 1st Rome - Milan (on the way I will stop at Florence, Verona),May 2nd Milan - Zurich (via Tirano, Chur Bernia Express)May 4th Zurich - Paris (I already reserved the seats)  so in theory I have 4 days of travel left with 3 days of the pass. All Italy rides needs a seat reservation per Eurail.. So would it be better just to get the Venice - Rome separately without using the global pass? Or what other option would you suggest? 

I have booked from Paris to Frankfurt on the Ice 10.52am from Paris Est on May 30th. We now have the opportunity to meet some French friends so want to push the time back. I went in to my DB portal to change the time to 13.51pm on TVG and got the message below. Hi, We are a family of 3 wanting to travel on LNER Leeds to London in August, but seat reservations on LNER website and ACP Rail are all showing as ‘not available’. Am I too late? (or too early?!)  Do I NEED a reservation on LNER trains or can we just get on with our pass? Thanks :-) 

Good afternoon Canada time   my wife and i have a 1st class global pass  I have some questions regarding seat reservationswe are travelling to Florence from Rome Termini in September ., then onward to Agropoli, Parghelia and back to Rome.If I check Rail Europe for seat reservations, I am given a price of $66.00CAD. If I book one way tickets to Florence from Rome, i have a price of $!30.00CAD total plus $2.95 per person for seat selection.if I try to book seat reservations with Italia Rail the cost is 13,00euros per person. But it will not accept my old school pass number. I need help thank you
