BeNeLux Pass if you're living in Belgium or the Netherlands
If I understood the conditions correctly the Benelux Pass is valid in all three countries only if you’re not living in one of them. On other sites (e. g. https://www.acprail.com/rail-passes/interrail/interrail-benelux) it even says that you cannot buy it at all if you’re a resident of either of the tree countries. Has this been changed recently? Anyway, if you’re a resident of NL, BE or L you are still paying the same as anyone else but are only getting travel in the two other countries. Is that correct? Considering that public transit is free in Luxemburg anyway, that does not seem to be very much of a bargain, anymore. If you are a BE or NL resident you are essentially only getting travel in the respective other country since in L it is free, anyway (unless you’re using a 1st class pass, of course). Am I getting something wrong here?
Eurail pass for non-European citizen
Hi there, I am a New Zealand citizen wondering if I qualify for a Eurail pass, considering my current residency permit for the Netherlands. I would only be using it for the period of time which my residency permit is valid. I understand the place of residency listed when purchasing should match your passport, but if I carry my residence permit with me then that is sufficient? Would appreciate any help. Thanks
Ticket for a bus of länstraffiken Norrbotten
I want to go by bus from Murjek (Sweden, Norrland) to Kvikkjokk. The provider is Länstraffiken Norrbotten , which is listed as participating by Interrail (www.interrail.eu/de/plan-your-trip/tips-and-tricks/trains-europe/railway-companies). But I can’t get a ticket: Kvikkjokk is not listed at all, for there is no railway station.

Trains SNCF not matching Interrail timetable
TGV Barcelona - Valence for 11 august 2023. Times not matching in Interrail Website and SNCF Connect. Edit: I saw already another post where it is explained that schedules on Interrail website are not reliable as updated less frequently than that of operators.
Travelling in my own country
Hi there, sorry if this kind of question has already been answered. So I’m from Germany but I do start my Interrail in France so technically at the start of my trip I’m not using the outbound day. Instead I was wondering if I could just use it at the end of my journey. So the plan would be to use one day to cross the border, spend a few days in another town inside Germany and then use the last travel-day to go back to my home town. TLDR:Day 6: France → German city no. 1Day 7: German city no. 1 → German city no. 2 Would that be all right?
Advice on correct pass?
We are looking to travel from Lyon down through to Pisa with our two children in July / August this year. We would be looking to go from Lyon, Cassis, Nice, Savona, Genoa, La Spezia, Forte Marmi Sera and end in Pisa, so 7 days of travel. Would the family ticket covering 7 days within 1 month be the right ticket? And would it be right that we would then need to select dates of travel ahead of time and stick to those dates?
Cannot make seat reservation for a train from Marseille to Zurich
Hi guys,I want to make a seat reservation for a train from Marseille to Zurich on the date of July 29, 2023. I kept checking and checking, the system just do not allow me to make any seat reservation. It keeps showing that “Prices for this journey will start to be available 90 days before departure.”.As of this moment, the local time of Marseile is Sunday, 30 April 2023. Theoractically, the system should allow ppl to do so.Any suggestions? Thanks!
Cut off times for booking trains on travel day
Hi all! I am travelling in Genoa, Italy right now and hoping tomorrow to travel to Cinque Terre. We have to first catch a train from Genoa to Levanto and then travel to each of the 5 villages which we choose to visit. My question is, we don’t know how long we will stay at each village and therefore, cannot determine before tomorrow we what trains to book between each village on the inter rail planner app. Can someone please help me confirm whether it is possible to book trains (trains without requiring seat reservations of course) on your travel day or does it have to be booked before midnight of your travel day? I would imagine you can be spontaneous and book additional tickets on your travel day as long as it doesn’t require a seat reservation. Thanks heaps in advance :)

Reservation costs for outbound inbound tickets - parcours d’approche
HiI live in France and in order to get out of the country to the border I got a “parcours de rapprochement” I didn’t have to pay any reservation fees on either the outbound or inbound tickets on fast trains requiring reservations, however today I enquired about tickets out the country and the SNCF team insisted that I needed to pay reservation fees on my initial oubound journey of 20€ (from Montpellier to Paris) then 10€ (from Paris to Stuttgart) could anyone confirm if I am. Correct and what their experiences were ( specifically in France) thanks
