When we reserve seats, would we be able to reserve seats next to each other if we bought tickets separately?
Hi all!My boyfriend and I will be travelling europe in the fall. We are trying to understand how the passes/reservations work. When we reserve seats, would we be able to reserve seats next to each other if we bought tickets separately or is it randomized/pick a seat when you get to the train? Or if we buy the passes together, when we reserve, since we bought together would it automatically assign us seats together/choose seats next to each other ? Or is it also just pick a seat when you get to the train? Any info on how this works and if there’s a benefit to booking passes together or each separately!!!thanks a million
Ferry Travel Day Definition
I`m asking about the EURAIL Greek 4 days island pass.I`m about to book 2 blue-start ferry trips (or even more...), and I want to understand what is a travel day exactly. What does a travel day provide, of the 2 following options?I can reserve 4 ferry trips, each on a different day?ORI can reserve unlimited number of ferry trips, as long as I travel in one of my 4 travel days, which I choose. One Country Pass Italy - separate train ticket to destination?
Hello, It's my first time traveling by train by myself abroad and im a bit confused on how traveling works.I am from the Netherlands and I plan on going a few days to Italy. I saw that I need to purchase a One Country Pass of Italy. My question is, does this ticket include that im going from Amsterdam Central Station to Roma Termini railway station or do I need to buy a seperate ticket for it? Or is it the Reservation seat that I need to do? Please help me out.
Bernina Express,, seat reservations required for scenic coaches?
Hello mateI hold an 2nd class Eurail Pass and currently planning to travel on Bernina Express from St. Moritz to Tirano and Tirano to St Moritz / ChurIs it possible to use the pass for these sectors? I searched on internet that there are some open scenic coaches. Is seat reservations required for these coaches? Do they have a specific departure time? I noted that some normal coaches on the Bernina Express train do not require a seat reservation, is this really the case? Do you recommend to make a seat reservation?Thanks all for your help!
Broken phone, need to transfer pass, already travelling
My phone broke yesterday and I had to factory reset it. I redownloaded the interrail app but can't add my global pass as it says it's already been activated on a different device. I contacted customer services via the form on the website yesterday but I've had no reply. I am already travelling (first travel day was 3/7/22) and ended up having to pay cash for a train ticket this morning. I sent an email today also but no reply to that either. I URGENTLY need to access my pass again as I need to travel again tomorrow (7/7/22). Trouble with seat reservations- different prices/times and unable to book
I am trying to make seat reservations for my eurail trip, as several of the routes i have plan require seat reservation. The first journey is from Krakow to Budapest. I first tried booking this through the app. Under “seat reservation required” there is a little menu where it says “first class” or “second class”, but nothing happens when i click them. Then i tried going to the eurail webside to book there, but the spesific journey i had picked in the app wasn’t on the website. Instead there were other times and other routes. Also, when refreshing the page, i got different results and availabilities every time. Usually the price of the seat reservation also changed, and some parts of the journey suddenly was unavailable for reservation. I tried going to the train companys website to book there (intercity.pl), but got different times and prices there, and was also not able to choose discounted tickets for eurail ticket holders. Money back for wrong reservation
Unfortunally I did a wrong reservation from Mannheim to Paris. I did two times Mannheim Paris, instead of Paris Mannheim back. I could not cancel it online, so I did a third reservation to be sure, which I can not see on my accout either. Can I get the 15 Euros back for the wrong reservation. Is there any chance to call somebody by phone???
Connection fails - new ticket required?
In the FAQ, the following is missing from the "Ticket inspection with your mobile Pass" section:I have a travel plan with multiple train connections. Due to the delay of the preceding train, I miss the scheduled connecting train. Do I have to delete the old connection and enter the new one? What should I do if the remaining time to change to the new train is too short to enter the new ticket? In the worst case, do I have to wait until the next day?

Hello,I had been selected few months ago by the DiscoverEU programme and I am now planning to use my interrail pass. I saw that a forum exists to find a partner (https://discovereucommunity.interrail.eu/) but i am unable to login even if I own a interrail pass from DiscoverEU. When i log on the main interrail website and then go to this site, i got redirected to a page saying that “The DiscoverEU Community is only open to participants of the DiscoverEU programme.” (https://www.interrail.eu/en/interrail-passes/what-is-discovereu/interrail-community).Any solution ?Thank you,Valentin
What is the return address?
I need to return a pass as the country of residence was printed wrong. The refund procedure on the website worked fine, I received my refund number and now only have to send the ticket, but I now have two different addresses. For days I have not received an answer as to which address I should send the ticket to.There is the return label that came with the tickets, with the address:Eurail. B.V., Int. Business Return Service, I.B.R.S./C.C.R.I. No.7, 3500 ZA Utrecht (NL).However, on the website I was told a different address after the process was completed:Eurail. B.V., Pass refund, P.O. Box 2338, 3500 GH Utrecht (NL) please can anyone help confirm which address is correct? Has anyone sent a pass back in the post before? Your help will be much appreciated!! @Nanja please help
How to deal with Estonian conductors
Does anyone what to do in Estonia, when (“Elron”) conductors who do not recognize - or do not wish to be bothered with - mobile Global passes?In five days, I have ridden Elron trains maybe six times.On my very first ride, the conductor - to her credit - telephoned HQ and asked what to do.TWO conductors have said the Pass “is not good.” Only ONE conductor has recognized the pass and issued the €0.00 receipt (per Elron procedure). I’ve saved these and showing them has helped - sometimes (twice thus far).Yesterday, after showing a previous Elron receipt, the conductor said “let it be” (according to an English-speaking passenger sitting next to me) and walked away.Today, the conductor said that the mobile Pass was “no good,” and said that the previous Elron receipt was “not good” (it shows Tallinn as the destination; I’m going to Paldiski).By (sharp) contrast, I’ve used intercity buses four times, and ticket sellers and drivers were very helpful and courteous.(By the way, I’m no “rookie.”
ÖBB Newsletter reader gets 4 reservations* for free
Hey, ÖBB is sending to Newsletter readers that have a ÖBB Account an email with a coupon with 4 reservations for free for trains with optional reservation of ÖBB. The coupon is automatically linked with your ÖBB account. I tried now to book also DB trains, and it works (I tried till to the “paying” site). I don’t know if everybody with ÖBB account gets this or only people which have also the newsletter. This free reservation works only for trains with optional reservation system, and in the text it says only ÖBB trains. You have to book a reservation till 11th of September to use this free reservations.
Changing trains after activating the pass
Hello once again It's my first day using the 3-day pass and I wanted to know if I could change one of the trains of my trip to one earlier. I had a reservation for the one I chose first but this one doesn't need any reservation. So i just changed on the apo but the other one still appears on my trip. Can i go on the one I chose today or will I be in trouble?(I'm in Italy by the way)

Hello Can we duplicate multi trips to another pass in the same device? It seems that i have to create trips 1 by 1 to another passholder in the same travelling group. It is mentioned in eurail short video but very briefly that i could not follow the instructions.
Eurail mailed paper ticket to wrong adress
I had my paper ticket for a Paris-Barcelona reservation mailed to my friend’s place in Poland with my friend being the recipient as I won’t arrive there until July 21. The date of departure on the ticket is July 26. Yesterday, I checked the tracking and somebody at Eurail put my surname after my friend’s first name as the receiver, not his proper name as I entered it in the form. I absolutely 100% completed the form correctly. This is a silly mistake on Eurail’s behalf, but I’m concerned that because it is being sent registered mail, the postal company will not complete the delivery. I emailed customer service and have not yet gotten a response. What year is it? Why on earth is this mailed paper ticket a thing? Small mistakes like this can cause huge headaches.
App says '+1 days', even with no transfers
Hi! A friend and I are planning to travel to Italy this summer, but are having some confusion about the night trains. We want to take some trains at night, but the app says ‘+1 day’ for these trips. Does that mean that it takes 2 days off your pass? Because I read somewhere that that's not supposed to be the case as long as you board the last train before 00:00. For example, we want to take a trip that has one train fron 22:00 to 23:30, and then one from 23:45 to 7:00, but the app says ‘+1 day’, so we are confused about what that means. Can anyone tell us?
