Win a stay in Paris and an Interrail Global Pass! As part of the European Year of Youth, UIC is organising a 🎥 video competition “The cool rail project” for young travellers aged between 15 and 29.The aim of the competition is to better understand what are the elements that make trains attractive for you and to inspire others to hop on a train and get to know new places now that it is possible to travel again.Travelling by train is cool, convenient and sustainable. Share your experience and be part of the challenge.❗ Participants have until 2 October to upload a short video (no more than 2 minutes) to the PollUnit platform. Tips for reservations for Renfe, Renfe-SNCF and Eurostar trains

Hi everyone!As the summer months are coming and as trains will be quite busy, we'd like to share with you some tips for reservations with Renfe, Renfe-SNCF en cooperación as well as Eurostar! Here is the link to the Eurail page and here to the Interrail page. As you may know, reservations are mandatory for Eurostar, Renfe-SNCF en cooperación and most Renfe trains.On these pages you will find some recommendations on how to book your reservations and some tips to avoid them (when possible) on these routes, particularly on the French-Spanish Mediterranean border, as well as in Spain, by taking alternative itineraries.Experienced Eurail and Interrail travelers, any tips for other travelers on these routes? Any other alternative itinerary suggestion or feedback is appreciated!

Issue - Facing difficulties to make reservations in Italy

Hi all, As some of you may have noticed, there is an issue to book reservations for Italian trains. This is due to an unstable connection with our partner's Trenitalia booking system.Our team is currently working on it in close cooperation with Trenitalia to fix this issue.If you see it is loading and not showing any trains, we kindly ask you not to continue trying but to come back another time. Issue - Reservations not loading results

Hi all, You might have noticed but there is an issue with the Reservation Timetable due to high search rates. When you are searching for trains, it sometimes does not show any output. The page keeps loading instead.It is working every now and then, but down at other times of the day. Kris - Exploring Europe with a wheelchair (2/2)Blog

Meet Kris: a 23-year-old Dutch girl travelling across Europe with Interrail. Diagnosed with Ehler Danlos syndrome, Kris is exploring Europe in her electric-powered wheelchair. With her Instagram and YouTube adventures, she's sharing her adventures to show that travel is possible for anyone.After a 50 hour travel journey i'm replacing my ski clothes at the other side. After traveling through all countries of Scandinavia it was time to travel through the Baltic states. While my wheelchair worked perfect in the extreme winter weather and even in Lapland it suddenly stopped working that well when I arrived in Latvia. My motor broke and without my motor I can't move my wheelchair and can't move myself outside. And there you are, in the middle of Riga, a city with no taxi for wheelchairs, no English speaking train assistance to call and a wheelchair that could stop working every moment. After 2,5 weeks of waiting in a hotel till my new motor should arrive by post, the shipment was canceled.
