Hi!I’m going to take a ferry to Igoumenista next week. Then I want to explore Greece, does anybody have done that? I know there is no train station in the area, but there is a lot of buses, so maybe I can travel by bus for the beginning.

Hi,On the interrail planner map, it shows train lines running from Venice to Rome. But, when looking for train times on this website it tells me that there are no trains available. Does anyone know why this might be?

I want to travel from Rotterdam to Paris with the Eurostar and from Paris to Barcelona with the TGV. Both have limited seats available for Interrail. I need to buy the Interrail Pass before I can safe a seat in those trains. How can I be sure of a seat? 

My husband and I are from the US. In the US….train usage isn’t something we do. As a result, I an clueless on how to make a booking. I am entering our travel cities and nothing generates. We are needing the train for two trips.From Dublin Airport area to York UK. Our flight lands at 5am. In a perfect world, it is no fun hanging out in an airport for hours after an international flight lands. We would like to be on a train heading to York by 8am. I am simply attempting to find information on this path to see what I will have to book closer to our actual arrival. Nothing is generating. From York UK to Edinburgh, Scotland. Departure time 12 noon or earlier. We need to be in Edinburgh by 3pm. Can anyone please help me figure out the trains we will have to take? Also, is it more cost effective to purchase one of the offered Euro Passes?Thanks

My wife and I have bought Global Interrail Passes for use in May/June 2024.  I would like to know what constitutes a single “trip”.  For example, if we start early from Edinburgh, arrive in London, take Eurostar to Paris, then take a night sleeper to Geneva starting before midnight, could this be considered a single “trip”

I'm trying to check to see if there are any seats available for our trip from London to Amsterdam on 6 September 2024, early I know but I don't want to buy a global eurail pass if there isn't.It shows that there are: "No connections matching your requests. Please change your search options (e.g. allow any type of trains, don't specify a via station or reduce extra transfer time."Am I to early or are there no seats left?🤔

The Monterosso to Milan scheduler at trentitaiia for the day I want to travel (April 19) says “Sold out seats on train 670. Solution cannot be purchased”. I understand that’s a poor translation that really means the schedule hasn’t been made available yet and bookings are only available till Feb 18 or so . The first puzzle is, how do I know when the seats are truly sold out and when they’re just not available? Theoretically I could be waiting months, checking every week only to eventually find I actually did miss the booking window and the seats are really sold out. Therefore, to try to see what might become available I have tried to use a Friday in Feb to see what might eventually become available. Following is the result. I am 66, my wife is 64 and we have a Eurail 1st class pass. Would I be correct in following the process to book the Economy 1st class, which theoretically gives me the option to change my booking date/time if necessary?

Hi, another question on night trains :)We’re looking to go from Lak Bled to Split & the connection has a night train from Dobova to Split & when I look to reserve - I get this message Can’t find more information below on the Interrail site, but if I go on to the Nightjet website it seems I am able to book 2 couchettes in a 4 or 6 berth carriage. Does that sound reasonable? Does to me but then I’ve read elsewhere about not being to book couchettes mid journey / late in the night, so just wanted to check. TIA

Hi,I’m trying to reserve 4 seats on ICE 315 from Bruxelles-Nord to Koeln HBF on Saturday July 13, 2024, departing at 12:34pm. When I go through the seat reservation process on the eurail website, add the seat reservations to my cart, I run into an error at the “Review your order” stage:“One of the legs of your journey could not be booked.”and“Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later or find another connection. This connection will be removed from your cart.” I’ve tried this with both Safari and Chrome and run into the same error each time. I’m wondering if this is likely just a temporary website glitch, or if this way is not going to work for these trains?Thanks!

Hello! My husband and I will be travelling to Italy next year and we only have about 13 days and I would like to visit the following places: Milan for 2 days (The city we will fly in and out of), Venice- for 3 nights, Florence - 1 night, Rome - 2 nights, Naples - 4 nights and then back to Milan.I’m very overwhelmed with the Euro train system as we don't have anything like this where I’m from. Is there anyone who can advise what type of pass I will need (I would like to take advantage of the high-speed trains to have more time in each location), how to reserve and any other helpful tips.  Do you have any other suggestions that might make this trip more relaxing or better via travel? I’m open to ideas, I just heard that Europe has a fantastic public transit system. First time in Europe and I really want to make the most of it! Thank you !!

Dear Community, We have planned a trip from Germany, Berlin to Sweden, Stockholm by night train and I am wondering if I have understood everything correctly. I have bought a four-day Global Pass and plan to start in Essen and take the ICE to Berlin. Can I use public transport in Essen to get to the main station?As I understand it, I need a full day's travel to get from Essen to Berlin to catch the night train, as we leave before midnight.But I need two days for the return journey, because a new day starts when we arrive in Berlin. Is it allowed to use another day to travel home the rest of the day (as we will not be crossing another border)? Finally, if we stay in Sweden, can we use a Global Pass day to visit another city in Sweden by train? Hi there,I am new to this platform and was quite frustrated that interrail does not offer customer service over the phone 👎🏻 So hopefully you guys can help me out! I am a Dutch guy currently living in Belgium (Antwerp). My office is located in Breda and therefore I am looking at travelling by train to station Breda-Prinsenbeek (close to my office). The global pass (3 months) could then come in handy as it allows you to travel internationally by train. Here are my questions: Can I go in- and outbound on the same day from BE to NL? In NL I need to transfer from Breda Central Station to Breda-Prinsenbeek station. As BE is currently my country of residence the transfer inside NL will be seen as a journey abroad right, so this does not comprise my in-outbound trips? Does the Global Pass really work as unlimited travel in that sense within Europe? If someone knows the answer I would be very grateful. Es posible realmente que ya no queden plazas para para utilizar el pase de interrail desde aquí para estos meses?Por otra parte hay opción de subir en trenes regionales sin reserva de asiento entonces?Muchas GraciasE

Extremely bad customer service. No telephone lines, no chatting, just an email line that is slow and the people running it show no understanding. Avoid this company at all costs. It really is going to cost me a lot of money for making the mistake to choose them.
