I made a reservation for a berth 6 person seat for 66 euros. But I don't know if this seat is a cuschet, sleeper, or just a sitting seat. And I can't choose the seat location, is it normal?

I have received an email from Tentialia that I think is telling me the trip I booked from Monterosso, Italy, has been changed because of rail works. It seems to be unclear and suggests that I can call them to reschedule or ask for a refund.I am staying in Florence until 18/4 and then I was planning on taking an early train to Pisa, spending a few hours there, then continuing to Monterosso for the night. I have not made any reservations for that trip. Then on the next day I have booked a trip from Monterosso to Milan.Does anyone know where the best place for me to get more information on what changes I need to make to my plans? I need to work out whether this trip is still going to be possible, or do I need to make major changes.

How far in advance do I need to make seat reservations from Paris to London.  Trip is in mid-March. 

Hello, I am trying to book Rome to Salerno roundtrip (same day) for Aug 1st using Global pass. Rail Europe is not displaying options but TrainItalia has one option at 11pm. Does this mean tickets are already booked or is it not open yet?Another question- I am reading about ticket validation requirements for some trains. How can I validate a ticket in the train station if I have only a digital ticket? Thank you in advance.

I used my pass to go to Kew Gardens. At the station I couldn't get out. When I asked for help they said the station has no readers for it and I wouldn't be able to to use this pass to get back to London.  What can I do. Pass is good and I have a ticket. Thanks.

Hi, i plan to do the Camino to Santiago de Compestella in September and travel afterwards to Portugal (and eventually return home to the Netherlands). Since i've never traveld with interrail before, what kind of ticket would i need (and what's the best route)?

Hi,I'm trying to book a night train reservation for Budapest Keleti (departure 23.10) to Cluj Napoca on 3 March. I have tried booking through the ÖBB website, but the interrail discount is not being applied, and I end up with the full price of €72 for a couchette.When I enter Vienna as starting location however, I can make a reservation for €13.40.When I check the train with MAV the availability is still high, but the interrail discount, even though it can be added to your person, does not alter the price. There the ticket for a couchette is € 42 though.What would happen if I book Vienna to Cluj for €13.40, but board in Budapest? Will my reservation be voided if I don't get on the train within 30 minutes of departure?

Hey, I’m completely new here, I’m trying to plan a trip from Lyon to Finland (whatever the city). My goal is to go the furthest north I can with the Global pass. In also don’t have a limitation on the numbers of days for the pass yet. My problem is that none of the cities cited on the website in Finland seems to work in the interrail app, and the network seems to end in Sweden. PS : I intend to maybe take the bus to go to Saint-Petersburg to go see a friend, but I didnt research on Russian limitations for European travelers yet and it’s just a possibility I thought of not my end goal. Thanks in advance

Hello, This devudu from India. I am planning to visit to europe from 12th March to 22nd March 2024. Me and my wife travelling. 12th arriaval at Amsterdam,have some official work at Amstardam from 13-15th and will cover local Netherlands.16th travel to Paris.17th travel to Switzerland (detailed planning yet to be done)22nd return to India. Please guide me which places to cover routes and tips suggestions. I am first time travelling to Europe.Should we take Eurail pass or not.I have seen eurail pass but I think it is very expensive for me. Because for eurail pass is costing around 900 euro for 15 days and charging around 30 euro for each reservations. Since I need to show all travel reservations in the airport, i need to make all reservations prior to departure from india, it will not work out form me.so, kindly advise me which pass should I take and locations hotels etc.Thank you. 

I am anxious that the ticket i buy will exclude me from some routes or trains. For instance the fast trains between capitals.

I am intending to purchase the Berlin to Krakow train on 14/4/24 when it becomes available.What is the procedure for reserving the seat before so as not to miss a seat x2. Being a newcomer to the Eurail Pass system I understand that I need to activate the pass on the day but it is how to go about doing the seat reservation that I am still not clear on. Hello. My teen is traveling solo in Europe and has a Eurail Global pass. Their first day of travel is coming up, and the website says there’s a train leaving Orsieres, Switzerland at 13:44, no seat reservation required.  The SBB website confirms this.  But when my teen looks on the app, they can only see trains leaving one hour before and one hour after.  Help please?Thank you!

Hi all,I would really appreciate some help with interrailing over the summer. My partner and I are coming to Sicily in July for a week and then would like to travel home (England) by interrail.I understand we will need to get a ferry to southern Italy, but then I am unable to build the trip on the app. We would like to visit Rome, Florence, Milan, Switzerland, Paris, and then catch the Eurostar to London.Any help would be really appreciated.Thank you.

Hola a todos  Los pass global dicen “Puede utilizar sus 4 días de viaje en cualquier momento dentro de 1 mes de su fecha de inicio. Extiendelas o úsalas una detrás de otro: tú decides”… referente a esto puedo viajar de Madrid a Francia hoy y en una semana de Francia a Italia y así sucesivamente sin que superar el mes ? ó debo viajar consecutivamente es decir hoy viajo de madrid a francia y mañana de Francia a Italia. 

OK  I think of myself as fairly savvy and experienced but I’m trying to rough out a train route for an upcoming trip but, although I know there are trains to Bayreuth, Germany, the destination pops up as not known! In the past I know I booked trains from Frankfurt and Hamburg.  Am I missing something?

Hi Trying to look into eSim card for May France trip (15 days). Bought “Eurail Pass 2nd class 6 days within 1 month” I would like to know if I need to have data running to show the following:My 3 Eurail Passes? My Trips for a particular day when I’m on the train? Seat reservations with their QR codes will be downloaded from gmail and stored on my phone (as documents)Plan to use data forscenic site “walking” navigation/metro/tram navigation Rail Planner app to show my tickets or explore train options look up a restaurant/boulangerie/patisserie whatsapp, email checking NO streaming of video or music.Last trip I used about 2 gb and a bit for a 15-day trip but I didn’t have a Eurail Pass though. All the tickets were bought at the machines. I am traveling from Zurich to Zermatt to St. Moritz (via Glacier Express) to Milan to Florence.I’m considering a 4-day Eurail Flex Pass instead of the Swiss Train Pass because of the Italy travel.I plan to take the Glacier Express from Zermatt to St. Moritz (I know I need seat reservations), and prefer not to stay the night in St. Moritz.  I think I can take a combination of bus and train from St. Moritz to Milan and make it to Milan the same night.  I know the Zermatt to Milan trip will be a long day.This is the route Rome2Rio suggests from St. Moritz to MilanMy questions:Can I use the Eurail pass from Zurich to Zermatt? Hi - I’m looking at trains from Vienna Hbf to the airport for 2nd May and the OBB timetable is only showing a couple of options available in the morning. Most of them say ‘Ticket not available’ either with or without the Interrail pass filter on. Does this mean they are all fully booked already? I want to leave from Hbf as I’m staying near there. Hi, We have a Global Eurail pass and will be traveling from Amsterdam to Bruges the day AFTER Kings Day. We expect a lot more “traffic” than usual on the trains that day. The website says “You’re ready to board” without a reservation, but a friend who recently returned from Europe said that they had a few occasions where were turned away on the day due to the train being full, despite the website saying no reservation was required.It is possible, or advised, that we pay for a reservation “just in case”? Or are we being silly?If reservations are recommended, how do I do this under the circumstances.Thank you soooo much in advance.Di Borg
