Nighttrain in homecountry

Hi, I would like to take a nighttrain from my homecountry. Does it count as one outbound, even when I‘m still in my homecountry at midnight?

Are Milano Centrale and Milano Rogoredo next to eachother. I have to switch trains

This is our first time abroad and traveling by train.  One of our legs is from Como to Bologna.  We go from Como to Milano Centrale and then Milano Rogoredo to Bologna Centrale.  Can anyone tell me if the Milano Centrale and Milano Rogoredo are next to each other?  It shows we switch trains.

The seat reservation tool is not working

Hiya, I can’t seem to get the seat reservation tool to work whereas it did before, can’t tell if this is just me? Does anyone know when it will be fixed?

Black Forest Konus travel card

Hoe kan ik het spoor zien waarvandaan de trein vertrekt?

Goede avond,wanneer ik een reis invoer om te kijken of er een trein naar een bepaalde bestemming gaat  zie ik enkel het treinstel nummer. Ik vroeg me af of op enig moment ook het spoor nummer bekend wordt.

Carrying bikes in trains Paris to Bergen

Hello, I am planning to do some bikepacking from Bergen to Trondheim. The plan would be to go from Paris to Bergen by trains in one go (39h!) but it seems that it is not possible to take bike in every trains, especially between copenhagen and Oslo as there is (only?) high speeds train included in the global pass (7 days). And these trains seems to not accept bikes. Does anyone have information or solution on how to bring our bike to bergen? Also some website are saying that I need to book a place for my bike independently than for my interrail tickets. Does anyone have an idea of the costs of these sorts of tickets?I was also wondering how the 7 days are counted, if one travel last 39 hours but is expanded on 3 days (let’s say leaving at 19h and arriving two days later at 10), does it count as 1, 2 or 3 days for the pass?

Is the Leonardo Express from Rome Termini - airport, reliable?

I’m thinking of using the Leonardo Express from Rome termini to the airport. Has anyone used this, is it a reliable train service as I’ve seen some negative reviews about it. Was thinking of booking in advance?

InterCity Notte (Rome- Messina) How can we make a reservation for our dog?

Hey,we have 2 Global Mobile Passes and would also like to use them to travel with our dog within Italy. We would also like to tike the Intercity Notte (Rome-Messina). How can we buy a ticket for our dog? Trenitalia and Italiarail only allow us to buy a dog ticket when we buy a human ticket at the same time which is more expensive than the reservation. Also we would not be able to be in the same compartment due to there being separate bookings.How in the world can we book a ticket for our dog on an Intercity Notte (or any other Italian train other than slower, regional ones where dogs travel for free)?

Interrail with 2 medium dogs

Hi there!We are a couple, currently residing in Belgium. We would like to go somewhere by train during the summer, taking our two medium sized dogs (12 and 15 kg). They are both:vaccinated to day with EU passport microchiped What are the countries that you could travel with the dogs on the train? If we take a night train with beds, could the dogs stay with us?I have no experience with this whatsoever and every advice is more than welcome. Thank you!

Luggage storage in Myrdal - Norway

Hello all, Does anyone know if there are lockers or luggage storage place at the station of Myrdal (Norway) ? I know there is a café, called Rallaren, that offers luggage storage, but it seems to close already at 6pm. I need storage until 7pm. Thanks for anyone who can help! Kind regards

Het invoeren van elke reis die je maakt is vreselijk omslachtig en onnodig. Als ik een maand pas heb, is dan een code voor 1 (of 2 of 3 ) mnd niet  gewoon veel makkelijker. Net als bij de gewone OV abonnementen. Dan kun je echt VRIJ in en uitstappen wanneer je wilt. Nu moet je verplicht de trein nemen die je invoert. (big brother watching you)Verder is het ook heel omslachtig om nogmaals je eigen land in en uit te reizen, je bent ook dan niet vrij om de trein te nemen die je wilt, omdat deze bv niet aansluit bij de kaartjes die je koopt voor je eigen land (met je eigen kaartje , is de trein die je wilt nemen, soms gewoon niet te boeken.) heel bizar

Travelling by train and bike (and intermediate ship) in Norway

Hello, we both want to travel at the end of May from Heidelberg/Germany carrying our E-bikes in the train to Copenhagen, visit the capital of Denmark. Then take the ferry to Oslo, visit the capital of Norway two days, then take the Bergensbanen to Bergen. After a couple of days there, looking around by bikes too, we’re going by ship (Hurtigruten) to Trondheim. After sightseeing at this interesting town, we ride a bike tour to Steinkjer.In Steinkjer we want to take the train to the town of Mosjoen northbound. Then once more the bike to northern Helgelands-Coast until the harbour of Oernes, where the Hurtigruten ship will pick us and bring to Stamsund/ Lofots. There we stay about a week, discovering these wonderful archipelago by bike. Then back to Bodoe by ferry and from Bodoe by the Night train southbound to Trondheim. Next day Trondheim-Oslo by train and after one day visit again in the capital  back over Copenhagen ( Ferry) to Heidelberg.Our questions: how is the transportation of (

Hallo,ich bin neu hier. Möchte zum ersten mal mit dem Interrail reisen. Dazu will ich für die Schweiz einen 3 Tage Pass für Senioren in Papierform kaufen. Muss ich mit dem Papier trotzdem zum Fahrkartenschalter um eine Fahrkarte und / oder eine Platzkarte zu bekommen? Mein Reisewunsch ist u.a. von Wetzikon über Luzern nach Montreux und zurück. Dabei möchte ich gern im Panoramawagen sitzen. Interrail in Spain no real option

I find it not a real option to travel in Spain by interrail. The only way to book a reservation ( which you need in all trains) is on a station in Spain. Online is impossible. As a result the train is often  fully booked. Three times we had to book buses.  That was quite a disappointment

Salve, vi contatto per avere alcune informazioni riguardo interrail. Abbiamo acquistato un pass e vorremmo pianificare il nostro viaggio per agosto. Dato il periodo di alta stagione avremmo la necessità di programmare il percorso per prenotare gli ostelli. Quando saranno disponibili le tratte ferroviarie di quel periodo? E vorremmo sapere se le tratte ferroviarie sono fisse, per regolarci eventualmente con le tratte di maggio.

BAHN CARD 50

HiWe are two pax travelling to Germany from India,  for 25 days in the month of June/July 2022.I would like to know if the Bahn Crad 50 will be useful to us as we are having the 15 Days 1st class Eurail Global Pass. My main interest will be to buy the multiple day passes at Munich, Berlin,  Frankfurt, and daily pass at Dresden, Potsdam, Hamburg, Heidelberg, Koln. for the local buses, S bahn Ferries etc.Can some one guide me AUTHENTICALLY on buying the Bahn50 trial card, will it be economical for me?Any web page links will be appriciated.TIA

Travel to the UK with Serbian pasport and residence permit for Germany: Visa needed?

Hi,my friend and I are planning on getting the Interrail Pass and would like to travel to the UK but she has a serbian pasport but a residence permit for Germany. Does she have to apply for a visa and if, which one would that be? thanks for your help! :)

Is a passenger locator form required when interrailing Europe by train? Is a EUDCC required when travelling aswell? How would I get this (I’m from the Uk) Is Covid testing required at borders? My route is Berlin. Brussels. Paris. Zurich. Vienna. Ljubljana. Venice. Rome.

Flying, border control, and COVID

Hi allSorry if this quesetion is silly but its my (19M) first big solo trip and its also my first time interrailing. I have a question about border control + COVIDWhen starting my journey ill actually be flying to my first destination (Sevilla) from England. My last destination will be 7 weeks later in Amsterdam and then I will fly home again. Will I have any problems at border control in the airport when they see I landed in Spain and was just chilling in Europe for 2 months and then ended up in Amsterdam to fly back? I assume my passport wont get stamped between countries when using a train so Im concerned I’ll experience problems trying to get home. Also nothing to worry about with Brexit , right? How early before departing a country / city shall i check covid requirements? Is it necessary to check when travelling in country (e.g: Madrid to Barcelona?)
