Travelling by train

i’d booked the class 1 seat before the trip on the schedule to take the euro star train from rotterdam to brussels, unluckily the train was cancelled! how can i continue my trip through the train cancelled issue?

I am flying into Rome. I want to take a train from Rome to Paris and then Geneva. Fly into Rome and fly out from Geneva. What are my options. I have a function in Geneva so it has to be my last stop. Travel days are 4/12 to 4/20. Thank you. It looks like a global pass will be a good option.

hello~!I'm sorry to always ask questions about EurailPassCan I use the Eurail Pass in the morning and use the OBB train or Czech train on the same day night?For example, if from Milan to Chur,use Eurail Pass early in the day and from Chur to prague makes a reservation using Eurail Pass on the Czech train app on same day night.also i booked from Wien to Paris by Eurail Pass on the OBB appand I received the train tickets on OBB by emailDo I need to register the tickets I booked through OBB or Czech app separately to my Eurail Pass?

Has anyone had any experience with eurail esims cards for cell phones? Just wondering if the price is comparable with AT&T, T-Mobile and similar plans.  ...or if you have a good recommendation for using phones in Europe.  

When initially planning my trip the app showed all available stations in the map view. Now it is showing none. Not even the big ones like Amsterdam Central and Gare De Nord. Did something change recently?

Wondering if I’m calculating my travel days correctly as well as a couple questions about the pass. Plan is to fly into Amsterdam (aug14) stay until the 16th, take a train morning of 16th to Brussels & stay here until 18th. 18th morning train to munich staying until the 20th which then will take a final train to Krakow Poland. Totaling 3 travel days, offering me the 4 day global pass. Curious if trains will be necessary around the city while staying in these towns while sight seeing/exploring and if this will affect my pass usage days? Also curious if I will need the eurail pass from the airport to my part of town when arriving into Amsterdam or better to take local Ubers/cabs? First timer going across the pond so any tips welcome.

Hello everyone, when I planned the journey Amsterdam - Brussels - Luxembourg - Paris - Lucern - Chur - Tirano - Milan - Verona - Venice - Vienne, there were 10 segments that are in accordance with 10 travel days, I guest. Why did the Eurail website calculate 11 days of travel?

Does anyone have any recommendations for apps for train travel in Spain, France and Italy? 

We (2 adults and 1 Youth) will be traveling to Rome in July 2025 and want to take a train to Germany, Austria, or some other destination to spend a couple of days then travel back to Rome for the last day of our vacation.  I need help on how to go about this.  Do I need a Eurail Pass or can I simply book passage by train? Are there restrictions or hurdles I need to jump to travel between countries in Europe?

Hello!We’d like to travel with the night train from Paris to Cerbère (or actually Collioure). However, I wonder if anyone has any info on the days of operation of this service in the end of June. I’ve read that these trains operate on a daily basis during “the summer”, but that is a bit to vague for me at the moment :-) If not daily, do you know which days these trains run? Perhaps - the planning for the summer is not yet presented/fixed, if so - when can I expect to get access to the timetable for June?Our Plan B will probably be to take the night train Paris-Toulouse, and from there a regional direct train. This is a good alternative although we’d prefer the direct train between Paris and Collioure. best regards, Anna

Hi there, I’m weighting up options as to whether we using an interrail pass versus single tickets for travel next year (departing from the UK).Are there any day tickets available for train travel in the Netherlands (we’ll be based north of Amsterdam and will want to visit Amsterdam, Delft, Harleem and the Hague, perhaps one other place by train also, plus travelling by bike, bus and ferry!)?2 adults and 2 teens ages 13 and 15.Many thanks.

Can I use 10 Day Eurail Global pass to book seats on Frecciargento to travel from Rome to Venice? 

Hello, my family and I are arriving in the UK from the US on January 11. We have the dream of traveling Europe by train. We would like to see as much of the highlights as possible . I’m looking for recommendations as to the best train route to take. 

Hi Community!We are going to Amsterdam for 4 days in February, and Rome for 4 days also.  We luckily have 4 days in-between!  Feb. 23 to Feb. 27.  Our current itinerary had us going back to New York, but we would rather make the trek between by train.Here is our thought process, but please advise if anyone has some better options!We are going to get a Global Pass for 5 days.  Feb. 23 - early train to Brussels.  Spend the day in Brussels (Feb. 23)Feb. 23 - Night train to BerlinFeb. 24 - Day in Berlin (Overnight in Berlin)Feb. 25 - Day in Berlin - Night train to MunichFeb 26 - Day in Munich  -  Here is where we need some helpFeb 26  ..  ideally we would do a night train Munich to Pisa..  but I don’t think there is a route? We would prefer to make a stop in Pisa without losing an entire day - is that possible, or should we try to find a night train directly to Rome?  Our check in is Feb. 27 

I have Eurail Global Pass and have booked reservations for Paris CDG to Amsterdam direct on Eurostar.  Where do we get on the train at Paris CDG ?  Can anyone help that has made this trip ?

We plan to travel from Salzburg to Bologna on a Railjet with transfer in Innsbruck using a first class eurail pass.  The seat reservation fee on the obb website is 3 euro.  But when I put the seat reservation into my shopping basket the 15 euro supplement that is supposed to be paid is not added to the seat reservation fee.  I have selected the eurail pass discount for my obb profile.  The eurailpass website says that seat reservations made on obb site will automatically include the supplement.  So I am puzzled as to what we should do.Thank you!

How much did you save up before going interrailing and how much did you end up spending?

I plan to travel on 24th Dec - 29th Dec.If i buy 2 for adults, are the tickets for kids free? Hello In July we want to travel to Montenegro with the train (interrail). We will be departing in Belgium. We heard from other people who wanted to travel to Montenegro in the past that they had some issues with travelling trough Serbia. Aparantly, Serbia is not letting everybody trough. I was wondering if we need a special pass to cross Serbia to reach Montenegro?  Kind regardsSimon De Corte
