We have completed our trip using the rail-app. All tickets for our group of 8 people are on my telephone. I now realize when I loose my phone we have no back-up. I thought of making print-screens and sent those to each member of the group. I don't know whether this is acceptable for inspection in the train. My question:Is there a way to make an easy backup for all the trips I have created for our group? Thanks for rely.
I now want to change the interrail pass for having more traveldays. Can I transmit my bookings and connections into an other pass, by exchange them?Perhaps you can help me byexchanging from Sweden Interrail Pass 3 days to Sweden interrail pass for 5 days? So I have to pay the additionally 15€ for the exchance and 20€ more for the pass itself?
Hi all!I was reading the benefits of the pass and one in Switzerland was you have access to 2 free trains (ie grand tour) with a Eurail pass...my question is if one buys the 5 day pass and uses the last day to get to Zurich, is the pass still good for the free trains?TIA 😊
hei! my country of residence is Germany but i would like to start and end my journey in Austria, hence use my outbound/inbound to and from Austria. This is especially important since im traveling through Germany several times and dont want to use inbound/outbound there. Is that possible ??
Hello, I live in Germany and want to use the Poland Pass. Last stop of the express train is Frankfurt/Oder and the next station is Rzepin/Poland. Ticket to Frankfurt/Oder cost 13€ and the ticket to Rzepin 23 €. Do I have to pay a ticket to Rzepin? Best, Felix
Good afternoon everyoneee! A few days ago I also received the Interrail Pass from DiscoverEU. While I was planning my trip I found myself with one question.According to the following topic found in the regulation, does this mean that I can travel by plane with my pass if it is more than 18 hours by land transportation from the country I am in on the final date of my Interrail, or 18 hours from the moment I cross the border of my country until I get home?"When young people have to travel more than 18 hours via land or sea transport before crossing the border of the departure country of their trip"In other words, if I wanted to finish my trip in central Europe and wanted to fly home (wich is more than 18 hours), would those costs have to be covered by me or is there a possibility that they could be covered by the previously mentioned initiative? Thank you in advance :))
Hi there! I activated my mobile interrail pass today (earned on the site) for Europeans and I wanted to ask you the date of activation of the pass is not the date on which the countdown to the "1 months" starts right? Thank you 🙂
Hello, I was trying to plan my trip and I have a question! I am from Greece and I want to travel to Poland, so I want a ticket from Greece to Poland and another to return. When I choose Poland in the map it says that will cost me 51 euros for 3 travel days. So is this pass available only for Poland or I can travel from Greece to Poland and back with the same pass?
I am currently living in France but my main residence is in Germany.I’d like to travel from North-Est of France to Italy (where the easiest way is through Germany) do I have to use this way as an inbound/outbound day, as I have to indicate that my residence is Germany?I wouldn’t stay in Germany, just passing through (by taking more than one train). My Plan is Metz(F) - Bressanone(I) - Magdeburg(D) - Metz(F). So I would need the in/outbound-days for Italy to Germany and Germany to France. Is it possible to travel through Germany or do I have to try to avoid Germany?
Hi!I have the French citizenship but I live in Canada since 7 years, so my residency is out of Europe. But I don’t have the Canadian citizenship, only the French. Can I choose the Eurail pass and travel with it in France (amid some others countries)? Thanks !Heleme
Hi!I bought an interail mobil pass for 3 months and wanted to know wether I can add trips once I started traveling? Becauce I would like to travel spontainioulsy and dont want to plan my whole 3 months trip in advance. Some of the answers on the website are confusing and it seems like I have to plan my whole trip in advance and add it to the app before my first travel day. Thanks!Best wishes,Marlies
Hello! Can anyone advise me on what routes the Austria pass covers? Specifically, I will be traveling from Lucerne to Salzburg, and then a roundtrip to Munich from Salzburg. All of these routes appear on the ÖBB website as trains I can book through them, but because they will begin in another country (not Austria), I wasn’t sure if they would be covered. (Also, if we were to stop on the way from Lucerne to Salzburg at Schaan-Vaduz, would that make a difference in answering this question?
Despite all the answers I remain confused regarding the need or not to purchase a pass for set number of days for 1 or 2 months. My visit will extend from late April into the 3rd week of May. I do not need it to extend for 60 days, only across about 30 days from 4-24. The 15 day icon & the 22 day icon show consecutive days, but commentary suggests that the pass begins on the initial day of use & allows use throughout a month period. Realize I seem dense as a brick, but don’t wish to buy 15 across 2 months unless required. Any assistance appreciated.
Me and my friends would like to travel around east europe from 15th of august till 10th of september and the one month ticket would be perfect for us. Hello fellow interrailers! My friend and I wish to travel in France, but we want to start off with a trail that starts in Geneva, Switserland. Thusfar, we thought that a one country pass would be best for us, but we don't know whether this allows us to travel to Geneva. Does anyone know whether it is possible to travel with a one country pass from France to Geneva? Thanks!
