Hello I am trying to book a private compartment for 4 people on night train. First on the OBB Night Jet website, I have put in the global pass discount but no discount is coming off the total price. When I try on the interail website it let's me select a 4 person berth but doesn't say if this is definitely private. Ie will we definitely be together just our family, not put in a bigger compartment with others. Please advice how to book a private compartment for 4 people on a night train getting the global pass discount. We are looking at travelling from Amsterdam to either Zurich or Munich. Any other night train advice welcome too as we've not done one before. 2 adults and 2 children aged 12 and 10. Thank you!

I have a greek 6 day pass with 2 days out of 6 left. One for a domestic journey and one for an international one both on the same day 2 juneThe mobile app does not allow my to select the same date for a domestic and International trip.Has anyone had a similar issue.

How does It Work when you made train reservations but train suddenly is a different one and even the starting station gets changed or the trainswitch changes. Whe see all these different things apear?!.  

Hi communityI’ve got a Eurail pass and trying to book the Gotthard express (from Lucerne to Lugano) via the SBB.ch website.  As per advise on the Eurail website, since I have a second class pass already I should only be required to pay the fare upgrade to 1st class + seat reservation fee + 50% discount on the ferry.  However, “Eurail” pass discount option is not available (see below).  What am I doing wrong? I have added two passes to my mobile phone. However I have not activated the passes. I created a trip (Amsterdam to Dusseldorf) that has all my journeys started from Amsterdam to Dusseldorf and onto Austria and finally Zurich. It says the trip is not connected to a mobile Pass. Is it because my pass it not activated? I will only start to use the Eurail rail  on 13 June. Should I activate it say next week June 1 before I fly out Amsterdam? Just worried that my mobile pass will not work before I leave Canada on June 6.  Once the pass is activated, can I then activate each train journey individually to confirm that is the train I actually want to take? Do you activate each train journey under each mobile pass ( I have 2 passes)? Or do you activate each train journey under the trip folder?  

Hi community,You have been so awesome in helping us but I have a “what if “ question. I recently got my partner to download the app and i assigned her pass to her to which it no longer appears on my app. This is all fine but we thought what if either of us lost / had our phones stolen ? I checked my login on a PC and both passes are there.. would you quote pass numbers or how would you overcome this problem ?Hope this won’t happen but you never know Much thanks again ! Marty

Hi,I understand the inbound / outbound concept of the global passes.Just one question: I remember that I had THREE such days with a 5 day pass.Is that still the case? and how many with the 4 day pass?I read somewhere about 2 days so I was confused, and just wanted to be sure about the exact number.thanks

Hi,I am planning a family trip so plan to use 2 EU rail ans 1 interrail pass with same itenary, is there a way I can plan everything on 1 device , or i have to install the app on 3 separate devices and then plan same itenary indivially on each device?

hi, from august 18th to august 29th I'm going on a trip with my girlfriend starting from bologna passing through munich, amsterdam and colmar in france, I would like to receive some advice since it's my first interrail and I don't know what to expect :)

I bought a passI made reservationsI activated the passBut the reservations I made to not populate within the “trip” on the app.Am I doing something wrong, or does the pass just stay on its own while you show your reservations on the day of travel?Please help this make sense. Thanks

Hello,I’m gearing up to apply for delay compensation. On the inbound journey, two of our trains were delayed by 40 minutes each. This meant we missed connecting trains and ended up arriving 2 hours 15 minutes after our original arrival time. When submitting my claim for compensation, do I detail each individual delay for each separate section of the journey or one entry for the overall trip for that day?Thanks

I’m traveling with my 14-year-old daughter from Paris to Interlaken on July 11. We have the 4 day, 1st Class Eurail pass. This will be our first trip using the pass, and I’d like to book the trip below. Reservations are required for the first leg, and optional on the last leg. I worry about the stops in between. What if the trains are full? Or, is there a pretty good chance we’ll be able to hop on and find a seat?

I have checked Rail Europe App on my planned trip from La Spezia Centrale to Florence S.M.N. on date 6 Jun 2025 it shown the schedule 0600 - 0852 available and seat reservation is not required. Then I unable to serach this trip result in my Rail Planner. Can I still use my Eurail global pass to travel on this schedule? How I proof to train ticket inspector if they check ticket since the journey do not reflect in my Rail planner and i could not validate the journey date and trip.

Hi guys, I’m currently planning my interrail route this summer and I’m looking from getting from Budapest to Zagreb/Ljubljana on Thursday the 10th of July but I can’t seem to find a train to book because the websites either arent loading or saying theres some kind of error? Is this just me or is there an issue with the trainlines that day? If anyone could help me find a train or book a reservation to either Zagreb or Ljubljana at any time on the 10th of July that would be amazing! Thank you!

I won’t be able to travel, and can’t quite figure out if I get a refund for my pass (which is not activated yet), so I was wondering if it can get transferred to someone else?  Love, Rebecca 

My sister and I have never traveled in Europe.  We are in Bayeux, France until June 7 and rather than get a hotel, we thought we would ride the overnight train to a connection to catch the Glacier Express or the Bernina Express on the 8th of June.  Is that possible?  Our next stop is Fussen, Germany. Also, is it true that we can ride a local train that follows the same track that is much less expensive than the Glacier Express or the Bernina Express?  

Hey everyone ,I recently re-downloaded the Interrail app on a new phone and something weird is happening again. When I zoom in on the map, I still can’t see any train stations – they just don’t show up at all. What i see (opens imgur)The strange part is that I had the app before and it worked fine back then. I did join the beta program at one point, and that’s when I first noticed this issue. I left the beta a long time ago, though.I even found an old note I made about it around 10 months ago:I typed two stations for my trip (Madrid City and Valencia City), then tried searching for stations in Barcelona. I pressed “view on map,” but no stations appeared. Restarting the app didn’t help.Now, I just redownloaded the app yesterday and the same issue is still there  even though I’m no longer in the beta. I really want to be able to see the stations that are iaround form the town ill stay so I can plan my trip better. I’ll be staying in a city and want to explore nearby smaller towns/village

Track damage is disrupting train traffic between Toulouse and Bordeaux in France since 20 May 2025, and the expected timeline for resolution is currently unknown.The damage to railway infrastructure follows floods in the Tonneins region and has completely disrupted train traffic between Marmande and Agen. Hi there,In the last two weeks, when you go on to the Interrail reservation page on some of my devices it will just stay and be stuck loading while on my other devices once you try sign in, in step 2 your pass/ trip to select won’t show up. This is extremely frustrating when you are trying to plan your trip and taking high speed trains. Perhaps ​@Eurail Community Moderator or anyone else knows the problem or are able to directly contact the Interrail team please. Note: Have 4 seat reservation credits from the DiscoverEU, so I cannot use other platforms e.g. Rail Europe to book them, currently just looking to know my options and availability but if this problem persists in June, I may have to contact the DiscoverEU team to book them, which means I cannot just book my seat reservations on the fly. For the Interrail team, surely you can improve your website asap to make it user friendly for people to book seat reservations on your own page insuring there are no bugs and greatly reduce or

Hi, We are booked on the Bernina Express arriving in the late afternoon into Tirano.  The original plan was to head into Milan and onto Lake Garda but we are struggling on getting to Milan. I’m struggling to find any way out of Tirano.  I understand the route is closed and a replacement bus service is in action.  Using the Trenitalia web site, it shows no trains.  I assume I would need a ticket for the rail replacement service but if I can’t buy a train ticket, I’m stuck.If there was a rail replacement timetable, I could sort when we get to Tirano but I can’t seem to find one of them either. Any advice would be welcome.
