Hello, I’m Miguel from Portugal, I’m planning an interrail in June till Sweden and I’m looking for advices.I want to know where are night trains that I can use and I’m open to receive suggestions from other people, like what kind of things do I need to carry with me and what kind of things you don’t recommend to carry with me.

Hey everyone,I bought the Interrail Global Pass for youth (4 days within 1 month) last year in August. The pass says: “Activate before 6 July 2025.”What exactly does this mean?Can I theoretically activate the pass on 6 July 2025, and then the 1-month validity period starts, during which I can use my 4 travel days? So that I would have time to travel until 5 August 2025?Or do I have to complete all my travels before or on 6 July 2025, meaning that this is the last possible day I can travel?I'd really appreciate any help, thanks in advance! 😊

Was just trying to enter my trip for tomorrow into the app, but encountered a bug in the app doing so. When planning from Basel Bad to Basel SBB I only get journeys by tram, even when I apply filters to switch off trams. It is, with some filtering, possible to get options by ICE from the planner but not the SBB S6. According to the SBB app it's running, but the app refuses to show it and only entering manually works for some reason. 

I have a pass and have booked Eurostar reservations but the app will not allow me to reserve this trip. Seats are now available on SNCF but Eurail gives me a ‘bad gateway’ error message. Help!

Hi, I have started to try to plan a trip. I selected Warrington as my starting point and then added by destination of London. However, I keep getting this message ' Sorry we can't show this entire journey. You can try to split it into multiple journeys'.  I tried using destination of Birmingham, Manchester, Crewe instead to try and split the journey but still got the same nessage. im.very confused!! Can anyone help? 

Hi Has anyone had experience of booking an overnight couchette for 2 people in France? I have a pass but my sister doesn’t but we want to share the carriage.. I’m immuno compromised so can’t risk sharing .. can’t see how to do this!!  Thanks! 

Hello everyone,My family (two adults and two children) would like to travel from Nuremberg to Brest, then on to Montpellier, and from there via Genoa to Rome, before returning to Nuremberg.We're considering first-class tickets if it would save us the cost of seat reservations.Furthermore, the Eurail website's planning software doesn't show any connections from Nuremberg to Brest. However, other websites do show connections. Do we have to plan our routes through the Eurail website, or does it not matter?And how does seat reservation work? Just looking for people who are there artists that travel around there that make music in the lanes of punk, folk, hip hop and EDM. I do rap but it's conscious cool hip hop that vibes really well with under indie underground music. Just wondering how other artists have been doing out there, how much luck they've had doing shows and really cool places to go or things they've discovered. I've got some things to share as well. I will travel by train in Finland to either Helsinki or Turku. I will take a ferry to Stockholm and then on the next day continue by train to Copenhagen. Same on the way back. It’s unclear how outbound/inbound trains work. If I buy a 7-day pass, will two of those days count for the domestic journeys in Finland or not? So do I have only 5 days outside Finland to use? 

Hello, I want to go from France to Sweden in one day. Its a long trip and i cant calculate to many time in between. Because I need to catch the Euronight to Stockholm in Hamburg. If i miss it i would need a new travel day, but i dont have any travel days left. So would my Interrail pass still be valid the next day of I miss the connection with the Night train in Hamburg? (Even if I am changing train company from DB to SJ)? Thanks for your help,Katharina

Good evening,Next Friday, 19th of december, I will take nightjet 420 (departure 20.46) from Innsbruck to Amsterdam.  I made a reservation via OEBB but I cannot find the train in the Rail Planner. In fact, I can not find this service on any day after december 14 at all. However, in the OEBB app and DB Navigator the train does exist. Is this because of the timetable change?Thank you :-)

Hi!I think I may be reading things too literally to see the obvious so apologies in advance to the seasoned interrailers!I’d be very grateful for your advice.  If I start my journey from home in Edinburgh and take the train to London and then the Eurostar to Paris all in one day, does this count as my “outbound journey”?  In other words, does this still leave me with all of my “travel days”?  (I plan to buy a Global 7 day travel pass so would it still leave me with all 7?)Also, if anyone has any ideas of alternatives to going through London that would be much appreciated. I had thought about getting the train to Newcastle and then the ferry to Amsterdam but that ferry doesn’t seem to be included in the pass and it’s ridiculously expensive.  There had been talk of a ferry from Rosyth to Dunkirk but that seems to have stalled.Many thanks in advance!  Alison

Hello,I bought a "4-day in 1 month" Interrail pass in 1st class for me and my girlfriend (for a trip in Austria). It is not activated for the moment.The 1st reservation I would like to do is a "sleeper coach" for us in an ÖBB night train (for the return journey from Vienna to Zurich (for the night of December 23rd to 24th) and I would like some help about this issue if somebody already faced it:When I check availability on this train via the Interrail.eu website, it indicates that "pass holder reservations may be sold out for this connection". (see screenshot below) However, when I try to do the reservation via the ÖBB website (with choice of “Interrail discount”) there is availability : I can book a sleeper coach for 188 euros for 2 people. See screenshot below :  Note: I think it's normal for the price to be so high for a simple reservation. Indeed, the price of such a berth on this route is around 400 euros.I used the procedure described on the Interrail website on screenshot below

Eurail is doing something fishy. There is 1 day left of the 25% off passes discount and it is giving me an error when going to pay. It says that support will get back to me within 24 hours. All I need to do is enter payment details and I’m done. When has a company ever had issues taking money from customers??? Unless they are waiting for the 25% off to be finished so that they make extra money off me. is anyone else having this issue?? 

Hi guys,I already traveled with an Interrail pass, but this time I have a weird issue. My direct train (witch is in 2 days) from Wroclaw to Berlin doesn’t show on the app timetable. I have the reservation and I don’t know what should I do, I mean - how should I validate my ticket on board. When you add it manually, QR code doen’t show? Train information:IC(EC)37004/54 ODRAdeparture time: Wrocław 7:11arrival time: Berlin Hbf 11:11 I’ll be really greatefull for your help, thanks.
