Hello! I am planning a trip from Amsterdam Central to Prague Hlvani Nadrazi. I can save 16 euro and about an hour and a half of travel if I do a 5 minute transfer from Schwandorf platform 4 to platform 5 headed to Prague Hlvani Nadrazi at 5pm on a Monday. Do you think I could be successful with this transfer or would it be better to spend the extra 16 and 1.5 hours of travel? Thank you so much for the advice! I’m new to eurrail and appreciate learning from the experience of others. 

Hello,I have a Global Interrail Pass and I'm planning to travel on the Euronight train from Zagreb to Celje on Sunday, 3rd of August. The train departs from Zagreb Glavni Kolodvor at 18:10 and arrives in Celje at 19:54. This train goes all the way to Stuttgart but I only need this short leg of the train which is also not overnight. However, I'm having trouble making a seat reservation for this part of the journey through services like ÖBB, where it says currently not reservable. This is possibly due to construction works. Would this mean the train isn't even running? Furthermore, would you need a seat reservation for this very short journey as it is not overnight or would my interrail pass be enough? And if so how can I make a seat reservation as it's not currently reservable.Thank you for your help!

I was told that if I want to be able to pick a seat and rest, get a first class ticket on eurail and get a reservation.  Now it tells me I don’t need a reservation and there doesn’t seem to be an option to make one even if I don’t need one and it doesn’t even ask about the ticket type.  I assume there are a limited number of first class tickets on any given train.  Does anyone know how I navigate this to put in my ticket type and pick the seat?  

So my girlfriend has a Discover EU pass while i have an Interrail pass. We want to sit close to each other in trains that require seat reservetion, however we cant form a group in the booking system. It says that there are different passes and cant be connected or put in a group. Does someone know a solution?

Hello!  My husband and I are travelling through Germany and Switzerland, and have purchased the 22 day continuous first class global passes.  I want to make sure I don’t make mistakes here and have tried to find my answers on various videos on the internet but I am still unsure.  Here are my questions:Can I have both passes on both our phones? Or can they only be active on one phone?  I would like to pre-plan our train rides (as much as possible) and so making a ‘trip’ in the app would be ideal but I am worried that this activates our passes - we don’t leave until the first week of September Would it be a good idea to make reservations this soon in advance or wait?   I have heard/read that making reservations in the Eurail app isn’t the best idea….is this true?  We both won’t have our phones connected while there the entire time unless there is free wifi available...(which I also read to have screen shots of the ticket QR codes for thi

Hi all,Just a question about the journeys to/from the UK on the Interrail pass. I am unsure as to whether one inbound/outbound journey is included in the pass, or is it one inbound/outbound day? For example, if in the app we have one journey from Cardiff to London and then a separate one for the journey from London to Germany (as in removing the first from the mobile pass) after travel and adding the second), is this possible. Or will the first use up our outbound journey and not let us add the second (meaning we have to have Cardiff to Germany as one journey).Just asking as the first option here would allow us more choice of train for Cardiff-London rather than sticking to the connection given in the app for the second.Hope this makes sense and thanks for any help,Morgan

I want to travel from Bari to Igoumenitsa by Superfast Ferries. As we all may know the Global and Greek islands pass holders are eligible to a free Ferry from Greece to Italy and vice-versa. However, when planning my trip and pressing “view train times” for this route it says “only by Greek islands pass”. Does anyone else have any experience with this route? Is it a trip planner problem or glitch or do I need to find another way to go to Greece?

Can I take a train from Barcelona airport El Prat to Barcelona Sants by euRail?

I tried to book a ticket to Jungfraujoch on the 3rd of July 2025, expecting a 25% Eurail discount, but it does not apply anymore. Altogether it comes to 238 CSF per person. Can anybody give me an idea about this issue?

We're trying to book a day-truo ticket from Interlaken Ost to Brienz in early July. We'll likely catch the ferry one way and train on the way back.Even after following the booking instructions  on Eurail website and adjusting my filter to boats/ferries" only, I can't see any ferry timetables coming up on my app. Hoping someone can help please?  

I have reserved seats through the Interail app and i’ve noticed the seats aren’t all together and we are a family of 4.  Can i change this?

Hi, I am student enrolled in an Erasmus Mundus Joint master programme (Poland-Spain-Finland).I have an Argentinian passport but a finnish residence permit, so that means that I should apply for interrail and not eurail. right?Then, I was also wondering if I should select that my contry of residence is Finland or not, because currently I am in Spain (I have just finished the semester here), and I have holidays until September. The idea is to use the pass during July-August.I will start living in Finland in September but my residence permit will be available before… Thanks!

I will be travelling from Interlaken OST to Brig Bahnhofplatz to board the PE900 Glacier Express.However I am unable to find any train from  Interlaken OST or Interlaken West to Brig Bahnhofplatz.Though I could find trains to Brig.How far is Brig Bahnhofplatz station from Brig station where IC957 stops? Regards 

Hi everyone,I'm having a frustrating issue with my Eurail Global Pass, and I'm hoping someone here can help or share experience.Here’s my situation: everything is already booked and non-refundable, so I can’t change my itinerary. My trip is:Bordeaux → London → Copenhagen → BordeauxAll of this was planned carefully to save money using the Pass.Now the problems: ✅ The first leg Bordeaux → London uses my outbound day, which makes sense as I’m leaving my country of residence (France). ❌ Then I go London → Copenhagen, without stopping in France at all. Still, the app tries to use an inbound or outbound day, probably just because the train crosses French territory. That doesn’t seem fair, since I don’t board, exit, or stop in France. ❌ Finally, Copenhagen → Bordeaux

We are travelling from Budapest to Cluj-Napoca but have to change from a comfortable sleeper train at Simeria with a 4 hour stopover  onto a domestic 4 hour journey to Cluj. Has anyone done this trip? Is the local train a decent experience? And is there anything to do in Simeria during the stopover between 07:00 and 11:00?

My wife and I each have first-class passes for travel in Italy this summer. In making our seat reservations, we were apparently randomly assigned to seats rather than getting seats next to each other. Any way to rectify this? If we’re stuck with those for now, how do we avoid it on future reservations? Grazie.

Hello,is it possible to get from Bayonne/Hendaye (Fr) to Vigo (Sp) in one day via Bilbao or other northern Spanish city to avoid Madrid?I’m looking to travel 1 July 2025 but searching for dates before then (eg in 2 days time) as I know many routes are still not live. However, even when I search for the next few days/weeks, no routes at all are showing.I’m trying to avoid Barcelona and Madrid as I travel from London to Braga in Portugal (hence wanting to get to Vigo and cross the Spain/Portugal border there).Thanks for any creative travel tips!Julia
