Días de viaje nocturnos

Si un viaje comienza en un día natural y acaba en el siguiente, cuenta como un día de viaje o dos?Ejemplo: el viaje Estocolmo-Ámsterdam son 19 horas, de 6 de la mañana del día 1 a la 1 de la mañana del día 2, eso son 1 día de viaje o 2?

What's the difference between the R43 and PE902

Can I just clear up the advice about the Glacier Express.I planned on taking the 08:20 EC train to Brig and then travelling on to Andermatt, From what I understand, the 10:18  (PE902) is the Glacier Express, which would require an (expensive) reservation. However the 8:20 EC would only give me a narrow window to make the connection.If I look at a Milan to Andermatt booking, it takes me from the 8:20 EC to R43 which leaves at 10:23. In an earlier post it was suggested that I book the 11:23 Brig to Andermatt, which is the R43. Should I be taking the PE902 or R43? What’s the difference?

What is a night train?

I see the Germany pass does not include night trains. Does this mean any train that travels though the night or just sleeper trains with beds? Would a normal ICE train leaving Munich at 1am for Berlin count as a night train?

⚠️ Paris - Turin - Milan line closure due to landslideTrain disruptions

The French national railways has announced that rail traffic between Modane and St-Michel-Valloire will be disrupted for the time being due to a landslide that was reported in the French Alps on 27th August. This would impact train journeys on the route between Paris – Turin – Milan for the next several months. Read more about it on the SNCF website.From 10th January, TGV trains will operate between Paris to Milan with a replacement bus from St Jean de Maurienne to Oulx after which passengers can continue their journey to Milan by train. The travel schedule including the replacement bus service with a slightly longer travel time will be updated on the Eurail Timetable and can also be found on the SNCF timetable. Your reservations will be valid for the whole route, including the replacement bus service. For more information, see this SNCF document.If you're planning to travel on the impacted route before 10th January, we recommend using an alternative route via Zurich. Please note that

Using the Intrail Planning App while travelling

I have two trains on my first journey ... my first travel day from Rome to Visp.During that day can I only have 1 ticket active with a QR code at a time? e.g Rome to MilanSo after the first train as I am running for the second interconnecting train do I have to activate the ticket for that train? Milan to Visp?Seems very messy and not explained in Planning App.

Hello, I would like to buy a pass for 1-month Eurorail pass to visit different country in Europe.The plan is take the train at night for each city, start the first train at night in Paris to Rome, to stay almost 3 days and then take the train to go a Piza, for a day, and then to Florence to stay 2 days, and then go to Venice for 3 days and then Milano for 1 day, after take to Saint Morits – Vienne 2 days, Berlin 3, Amsterdam 2, Copenhagen 1, Stokholm 1, Oslo 1, Bruxelles 1 day, London 1, Madrid 2, Portugal 2Looking for some suggestions on the above trip. what would be the best option?Please help me plan this trip. Buenas tardes, Estamos interesados en hacer un interrail dentro de poco, por tanto nos dirigimos a vosotros para preguntaros algunas dudas acerca del viaje. Para empezar, nos han surgido varias dudas acerca de la documentación que se necesita para poder viajar.  Por otra parte, nos gustaría saber todo sobre los precios: si hay algún descuento por ser estudiante, el precio total...  Cuanto es la cantidad maxima de personas que pueden participar en el viaje? Validity of Deutschland-Ticket for neighbouring countries

Hi everyone!I have bought one Deutschland-Ticket and I find that there is RE11 train from Koblenz to Luxembourg. I am wondering if the ticket is still valid for this train or do I need buy another ticket to Luxembourg?There are also similar situations for other RE trains to some cities in neighbouring countries.Thanks in advance!

Multiple trains to get in & out of country of residence

I live in rural France , - it will take at least two train journeys to get to the final train that will take me across the border into Switzerland. If these are all part of my outward journey itinerary  on the same day, is this allowed?

Need Opinions For Our Holiday - First time taking the trains in Europe

Hi!My friends and I are traveling to Europe and plan on flying into Paris, taking a train to the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, and then back to Paris.  What is the best way to go about this? I’ve been to Europe but never taken the train except inside just the countries alone. Where are the Eurail train stations, is there a better railroad to use, or how do these passes work? About how long would they take to each country, or is it maybe better to rent a car for the more cheaper option? How many travel days should I choose? Any feedback would be great and appreciated!  We are only in Europe for 13 days so planning on staying in each country around 3 days. We also have luggage, so is there a limit of what you can bring on the train too. Thank you!
