Bonjour, Nous partons bientôt avec 3 enfants de 8, 11 et 15 ans. On a voulu aller en Grèce puis au Portugal mais à chaque fois, il y a des tarifs supplémentaires. Quelqu'un aurait une idée d'un trajet sympa sans réservation de train, pas trop cher sur place et comprenant l'Italie (5 trajets sur 3 semaines). Merci d'avance

How we get those tickets, or we just have to show our interail pass to the train controller?Because I was checking that there are some that tell you a message such as:This is a popular train. Seat reservations are recommended, but not required.So, I was wondering how it works because we are travelling in four from Vien to Frankfurt.Thanks in advance.mariana

Hello, i am very new to this interrail thing and I'm trying to understand. I first thought that is I take a train on day 1 and it arrives on day 2 at his final destination, even is there is switches (that make part of the train trajectory), it still counted as 1 day. But when I checked for trains in the app I saw +1 day literally in every train I watched. Is it normal and does the +1 day means I spend actually 2 days of travel? Thank you very much.

I am new to all this and having a problem changing a booking. We are on a 4 day pass. The first day is sorted, Bolzano to Basel. Then I mistakenly booked to go to Paris BUT want to change to go to Amsterdam instead. Is this possible? 

I am a real newbie to all of this and struggling to make sense of it all. I am in the UK and have an Interrail pass. I downloaded the Rail Planner App and want to reserve seats for  my first journey. It defaults to Eurail and wants payment in Euros, however my website account is in GBP. I am going to travel in Norway so all journeys need a seat reservation.I do not want the exchange rate fee on top of the extra 2 euros Interrail charge and seat reservation charge. Is there anything I can do?   Are seat reservations only sent by post if you book via the interrail/eurail app/website?   I think you can get an electronic reservation from Entur - is this correct and then is it better to only book via this platform?  If I book seat reservations for myself and my husband together are they linked to both our passes? Good Evening Fellow Travellers.So I’m planning to travel from Antwerp to Liverpool in one day (Antwerp to Brussels/Brussels to London/London to Liverpool) Seat tickets for Eurostar and London - Liverpool are already booked on the trains we intend to use. If I try to set this up as one journey I am not offered the connections I want and indeed the only connections from Antwerp to Brussels is signalled as Not in the pass network as it is very fast which I don’t need, though if I just look in Antwerp to Brussels there are plenty I can use. Indeed all the trains I want are available individually.Can I simply book the three legs of the journey separately? If not, I’m in trouble.☹️Also: can one add journeys on the day of travel (after starting the trip) or do they all have to be booked into the App before boarding the first train of the day? As ever thank you again to whoever is kind enough to help the hapless

I’m looking to travel via train from London to Amsterdam on Dec. 20, 2025.  I was looking at passes as we will be traveling to other countries as well.  I understand that it will be booked via Eurostar, but does the pass not include weekend dates for reservations? Trying to find the cheapest way to travel :)

Hello,I have a global interrail pass and i plan to take the Caledonian Sleeper on october 19th from London to Edinbugh. I made the reservation with the caledonian sleeper customer service. The issue is that the timeline doesn’t match between what i got in my reservation (21h30 → 5h30) and on the website (21h30 → 4h44) and moreover the train doesn’t showed up on the interrail train planificator so i don’t know if its good or not.

Could someone confirm whether or not Global Plus Pass first class allows making reservations free of charge for Prémium class on Renfe AVE trains in Spain? As this is the real first class that would be the whole point in buying the Plus Pass. Otherwise getting just the seat without the first class experience makes no sense to me.

I purchased 6 Eurail passes for my family. I added their passes to my Eurail App. Booked the TGV train and paid reservation fee . I received pdf file with 6 tickets. But in my eurail app, it shows only me in the trip. How do I add others to that same trip?

Travelling Paris -Interlaken- Zurich- Lake Como-Venice-Sorrento.After buying the Eurail global pass, do we go on the Eurail app and book individual tickets?If it says reservation required… do we reserve and pay right then on the Eurail app itself?Do we need to validate tickets at the train station or do anything else?For overnight train from Venice to Sorrento, do they provide bedding or pillow/ blanket?

I’m preüparing for my first trip with interrail and need some advice about setting things up on my mobile. Once again thanks again in advanc to the community who have been incredibly helpful already. I have two questions: When I “create a new trip” in the app is the pass just valid for the trains shown there? If I miss a connection and therefore have to deviate from the origional plan, I assume my pass will be valid for any train I then take. Or do I have to create a new trip so my pass is aligned to the new circumstances - also if I decide spontaneously to do something different? Once I’ve got the QR code - ist this just for the one trip or is this now my pass for any journey for the duration of my 5 day  “allowance”I didn’t realise how many wrinkles of uncertainty were going to manifest themselves. Hi. Im going to Lisbon in October. I'm right now trying to book the seats for a travel 21st of October from Madrid to Lisbon. It seems like there are no direct connections or just connections that are reasonable (up to 2 stops). I am traveling with family to Europe in December.  We are flying into London, traveling to Amsterdam, Germany, and Belgium.  It will be an 18 day trip.  I’m looking at the pass options and wondering how many days we should get, 10 or 15 knowing we won’t be traveling Christmas or Christmas Eve.  Will prices go down at all closer to travel time or keep going up?  When is the best time to buy them?

I used up all my travel days on the first pass that I bought, so I got a second one.  Now I can’t seem to find the option to update it on the app.  Does anybody have experience with this?  Thanks in advance!

When making bookings, I see the whole trip, book seats where necessary, then pay. The ticket only shows the paid part of trip. So do I just show my pass to get on the rest of the trains?

Hola si quiero realizar la reserva de asientos con mi pase de primera clase en un tramo que dice reserva de asientos requerida, pero al ingresar solo figuran los importes de segunda clase y no la de primera, esto quiere decir que no necesito reservar? Tengo asegurado mi lugar?

Bonjour, J’ai prévu 2 trajets, un de Paris à venise et l’autre de berlin à paris. Ma question concerne les trains sans réservation de place assise. Pour ces 2 trajets, qui ont des correspondances, une partie a été réservée avec réservation de place assise et une autre partie non. En effet, il était indiqué que la réservation de place assise n’était pas obligatoire. Hors les trajets sans réservation ne sont pas visible sur mon compte.  Comment se déroule un trajet sans réservation de place assise ?
