Hello, I have several changes of train when traveling from Luxemburgo to Lausanne. The first one is at 00:49 and two other changes. My question is if that’s only one travel in my Eurail pass or 3 travels. Please help!! Thanks a lot.

Hello, I have 2 questions. How does it work with the travel day when traveling overnight? Will I lose 2 travel days in that case? Second question: I have one day for entering the country and one day for leaving the country. However, if my hometown isn't reachable via a direct route, how many transfers are allowed during the inbound journey?

Hi everyone! I buy an Interrail pass, the 22 days in a month global one.I leave France the 17th of august, and today it’s my 5 days of trains journey, we are the 26th of august.But when I go on my pass, it’s writing “13 days left”…I’m confused. Does it mean I need to be back in France in 13 days??Because I just arrived in Finland, and I have so much left to see.I was expected that I can take the train for 22 days, and be free.If someone can light my candle <3

Hi, Me and my boyfriend are first timers. We are going from the netherlands to italy. Now we booked our train from dösseldorf to munich and our nighttrain from munich to padova. We have a small overtake of 9min. So that makes me nervous. Is there any way i can see where the train enters and leaves the station in munich so we can prepare where to go to?  Thank in advance.   

Good morning/evening, my son(18)  and I are planning a trip with flying into Amsterdam, Netherlands mid September, from Canada, and will be there for a few days. We then plan on going to Berlin, Hamburg, Munich and Frankfurt, in that order, with stays of 3-4 days at each place. I’m not sure what ‘pass’ or combination of ‘passes’ makes the most sense so we can travel from city to city and still use the local transit system in each location. Thanks for your help! 

Hi everyone, I’m new to Interrail so I still have a few questions. Ofcourse i’ve read the interrail user guide. This guide says that I’ll need to add my pass first. After that I need to activate my pass by choosing my first travel day. Once that’s done, I need to choose a journey and save it to my trip, then I can connect it to my pass. This is the part that I understand. I’ve been reading some different topics on the community site and I’ve read somewhere that it’s advised to use the national train app from the country I’m travelling in. But how does that work with choosing a train? For example: if i connect a journey to my pass in the interrail app and it’s a train from Naples to Rome and it leaves at 10:40 and arrives at 12:00. When and how is it advised to use the Italy train app itself? If I pick a train from the Italy train app, how will the train people (??)  know I’m using the train with my interrail pass. also: I’ve seen some advices about seat res

Can someone please double check my work?  I’m not seeing any direct trains on 9/28 from Prague to Munich?   Is it possible they are all sold out?   Just seems odd to me.   I know I can’t make reservations until 30 days out but it’s weird that they aren’t even showing to purchase a regular ticket.

Hi, I have just returned from an interrail trip during which I used 2 of my 3 inboud/outbound days and 6 of my 7 travel days. Do you know if it is possible to use my last travel day and my last inboud/outbound day, for example, as part of a short day trip to a neighbouring country, or is this contrary to the interrail principle, given that I have already returned home?Thank you in advance for your answers and best regards, Lucie 

I’m looking to go from Krakow to Wien. If I already have the global pass and want a 2 beth deluxe how much more would it cost? Where do I see the price difference if I have not bought my global ticket yet?

Hi, I’d like to travel from Budapest to Berlin on the night train on 17 October 2023 but on the Hungarian website the night trains from 1 October onwards say they are ‘full’. On other countries’ websites it just says ‘not available’ It seems unlikely that they’re full. I’m worried it’s because of engineering works but can’t find any information. Hi everyone,We have a Eurail Global Pass first class.I was trying to book Zurich Main Station to Milano Central (among other tickets) on the OBB website and have accidentally booked this leg as second class when we wanted to select first class.The ticket trip is to be on 14/09/2023 around 9am for 2x adults with Eurail Global Pass first class. Ideally we wanted the 9.33am train via Lugano. I didn’t realise that you can cancel reservations within 3mins of booking so I can’t cancel now, but I was hoping to just re-reserve first class seats and pay again for the reservation. It says on the app the train from Zagreb to ljubliana needs a seat reservation that is free how does that work? I also just got a train from bled to Zagreb that went through ljubliana that had no reservation. So I'm confused as to whether or not I need to buy a ticket.

Hey, I don’t succeed to book a reservation in the night train between Budapest and Praha (train at 10:13 pm). When I have to pay, it doesn’t work (with the application or website). And it’s not possible for tomorrow, in 2 Months, or in 6 months. Is there a problem with OBB ? Lore

Hello ! I recently came back home from a fantastic interrail trip in central Europe ! However I realized that I haven’t used all of my 7 days of travel during my trip (still one left). Furthermore, I’ve learned that this year Interrail is trying a new formula that gives 3 days of outbound/inbound journeys and I have used only two of them.As I need to go to Italy next week, I was wondering if someone knows wehther I can use my last day of travel (and my third day of inbound/outbound journey) to exit my country (Switzerland) and travel to my destination. Thank you for all ! :) 

Hi,I have an Interrail GlobalPass and am currently in Turkey. I want to go to Budapest from Istanbul. I have already booked the Halkali - Bucharest journey, and I want to book the Bucharest-Budapest journey on 1 Sep after 5pm.I would like to book the Bucharest-Budapest night journey but on the Hungarian site, despite the addition of the pass, the fares are much higher than expected, perhaps they contain the seat + the ticket and I can't find a way to separate them. On the Romanian site, it is impossible to put a form of discount/pass in the entry data.Finally, on the OBB site, the ticket is indicated as not available. Do I have to wait until I'm at the station to take these tickets? Moreover the schedules on the OBB and Interrail sites are totally different. On the rail planner, I see an 18:25 direct train. Hello this is a first time 18yr old traveller going with discovereu here. I have an Interrail pass. I am very lost about these reservation thing. So, when I check my DiscoverEU trip pass, it shows a train that goes from Halkalı(Istanbul) to Videle (Romania) from 20.00 to 16.18 but when i check the interrail.eu site i cant find this train. Also, even though i added my trip i had to manually choose every train, i hope that is correct. I will share my route here in case you guys need more information for helping me. I checked the Turkey rail website but there is no train to videle either. I am very lost about all of this and i really need help.   

So I have a Eurail pass and intent to use it from mid-August of this year to mid-September.  I see that (unsurprisingly) I need seat a seat reservation to take a night train from Augsburg Hbf to Budapest-Kelefoeld on Wednesday, September 6.  The Eurail app says that a “Bed in Shared compartment” is 36 euros per person (reasonable). But the Eurail website that actually sells the reservations says $715 for a family of four (no where near 36 x 4 = $144).So I went directly to the rail company operating the train:  “Euro Night”.  The news is a bit better that to get a Couchette carriage Compartment” for all four of us it says 264 euros.  That’s better than $715 of course, but no where in “Euro NIght” did I put my Eurail credentials, so I’m wondering if I am paying for the pass + seats.  In other words, if Euro Night doesn’t ask for Eurail, what good is Eurail?Or am I missing something and there is a way to get it cheaper by just getting the seats (not the pass)??  I

I just bought my 8 day Danish Eurail pass, with the understanding that it would enable me to get discounted tickets on bus lines as well. But I do not see how to do this if everything has to be booked through the Rail Planner app. Any suggestions would be helpful!

I was planning on travelling on my Irish passport to avoid getting a visa but a lot of the FAQs say to purchase a pass accordance with your residency. please help! thanks!

Hi, i’m trying to understand the sub sytem of interail, for example for the WIen-Venezia, as you can see on my screen, I need to buy a Supplement.I’m not sure where i need to buy these. The interail site guide me to the OBB site, but i’m not even sure it’s the train i will take or if it’s the right things to buy.Can someone guide me in this dark side of eurail ? hahaThanks !

I’m looking to book a sleeper from Paris to Vienna in January.  They aren’t loaded yet, but I was checking prices for sample dates in November but they all seem to be full already or not available.  I did find one date in October, but then others referred to track works meaning the train wouldn’t run.Does anyone have info (or know where to check) on the track works?  If they continue on into January this may be the end of that particular plan.
