Hi , holding a French Eurail pass and unable to make seat reservations for trains to/from Trouville/Deauville and Paris. Eurail website site shows reservations are required but unavailable but this cannot be correct as showing same for next 2 months - obviously a glitch with the system. Any help appreciated. thank you
Hey guys, I´ve got a big problem while I want to make the reservations which are necessary for my summer tour through europe. I want to take a train from London to Edinburgh on the 31th augsut and back the other way late the next day but both trains can´t be reserved saying it cant be done by eurail. So i tried the other websites which should let me get my reservations like APC Rail and LNER but there it also isnt possible to get a reservation for both trains and now i don´t now what to do. Would love to get some help from you Thanks, Luca
Hey, I just created a whole tour through europe in the summer and now i want to make all the necessary reservations but im getting into big trouble whilst doing. My train from Bruxelles-Midi to London St.Pancras on the 29th August from 17.21-19.00 says that the reservation is `temporarily unavailable´ and i thin it can´t be overbooked cause all the other trains that day do perfectly fine. Also i tried getting the reservation via the offiial website for the eurostar but there this train doesnt even exist what makes it even worse. This is not the only train with which i got trouble so i would really appreciate some help. Thanks, Luca
Hello, I purchased a $400 USD Eurail pass and was confused about directions and entered the wrong start date thinking it was active for 11 months. I thought the ‘start date’ would be whenever you used it first. In any case, I’m about to leave overseas and just found out that my month pass ends in three days, whoops!I emailed and messaged Eurail on May 1st but still haven’t heard back. My flight is in less than 24 hours and I’m getting nervous! Anyone been in this situation? When can I expect to hear from them? I’m flying into Madrid, Spain. Is there a booth at the airport or something? Is there a phone number I can call? I’m freaking out. Thanks.
Where it says ‘domestic trains’, does that mean for only trains inside that country (this is for Germany) or does it mean for all of Europe. Or, does international mean anywhere outside of the country that these rules apply (the rest of Europe). Eg. if I were to travel from Berlin to Brussels would I be able to take any of the Domestic trains or would it have to be international?
Hi,I am thinking of taking the train from Amsterdam to Munich which leaves at 20:28 and arrives at 6:03 am the next day. It is necessary to change trains between 23:40 and 23:55. My question is, if there is a delay on the second train, will it be necessary to use 2 days of the interrail pass?Thanks
Hi there I am trying to book my train from London to Paris on May 29th at 13:31 pm and it shows that all seat reservations are unavailable nor the next day. Can someone please help me book my seat reservation? It currently shows 0.00 and prices unavailable. See screenshot below. I would like to book my seat today so it doesn’t sell out. Thanks. Heather
Hello.Does anyone know the position of the private operator vlexx who operate trains in Rheinland-Pfalz, Hesse and Saarland regions? It’s not listed here: https://www.diebefoerderer.de/tarife/angebot/internationale-passangebote/ unlike most (all?) private operators across Germany. vlexx is a subsidiary of Regentalbahn (Die Länderbahn) according to Wikipedia: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vlexx The Die Befoerder site for railpasses only lists Alex and Vogtlandbahn, not vlexx under Die Länderbahn.Any German experts able to help?Thanks.
I am booking a trip for 5 people. We are flying into Stockholm and we fly out of Copenhagen. We will be visiting several cities in Sweden before ending up in Copenhagen. I am a bit confused on the type of pass to purchase. We plan to go from Stockholm to Gotenburg to Malmo to Copenhagen spending a few days in each city. What do you suggest?
Hi, I have a mobile global pass (10 days in 2 months). Unfortunately, my phone broke in the middle of my trip and I am unable to add my pass to my new device. I tried to reach our to the customer support through email and social media but I'm yet to receive a response. I'm very worried as with each passing day, I stand a chance of losing more and more money as I have already made accomodation reservations in multiple clities. I feel helpless about it and it is too expensive for me to buy tickets for traveling while they work on my case. Is there by any chance s physical office of Interrail that I could visit in Germany or the Netherlands to fix this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is extremely urgent. Hi, I have a 1st class 6 day pass that I intend to start using in a week. I would like to know from experience how others have found the travel around Switzerland by train? Already have plans to visit a number of areas in a week so as I understand it:Each day I want to travel I need to use my phone and add the train journey to it (so Basel to Zurich for example as a journey in the app) Certain tourist type trains (such as the Bernina Exp). require a seat reservation too.One question, with the 6 days I know I can use them any day in a month but I will be using them one day after another so do I have to plan journeys in calendar order? So can I make a seat reservation on the Bernina Exp. say on the 17th today, add to the app as a journey and then tomorrow add a journey to the app for the 14th? My pass is set to be active from the 12th.Many thanks for thoughts and advice
Hello! My current phone got formatted last night due to software updates. In it the pass was valid. And now I when I try to add my pass again on the same device but since it's formatted, I'm unable to add because the app shows me an error that it is already valid on another device. Could you please deactivate the pass on that device so I can again validate on it again?I have already raised a request using the form but it seems that would take a couple of days.So it would be great if you could do it quickly because I am travelling tomorrow and I would need to show that pass.Thank you for your help in advance. Hi, I accidentaly bought the wrong pass so I’ve bought a new one and I’m currently waiting for a refund on the old one.I noticed, when booking my seat reservations through the Interrail site, that it does not ask for a specific pass number at any point. Are seat reservations linked to a specific pass number or are they just linked to my account/my name? I’ve already purchased one reservation and I’m worried it will be linked to the pass I’m waiting to be refunded and not the new one.I’m starting my trip in just a couple of weeks so I’m anxious ro make my reservations but not sure if I need to wait until my old pass is refunded.The reservations I’ll be making are on the eurostar from london to paris and in france.Thanks
@Nanja Hey, I've seen that you're here to sort of help with queries and stuff, I'm really stuck!I had to restart my phone and then log back into my interrail app. Once I tried to log back in it said that my pass was linked to another device so it couldn't be added to this device - but its still my same phone! I had to buy another train ticket to start my journey, but I still can't log into my interraill app with my pass as it won't let me!I have already bought the ticket though interrails website and made reservations etc. Please, is there any way you can help me?
I need to go by train on 2 days. I have a global pass for 10 days in 2 month. The pass is active until 22.06.2022. If I search for a journey, I get connections, but after confirmation there is the old date in it. If I want to add a trip to my pass, there is no option for mobile pass and I get errors. Please help me. This is horrible for such an expansive pass.Thanks in advance
Hello, I am looking for my pass cover number to make a seat reservation. I booked my interrail ticket yesterday and I found out that you need to make a seat reservation for the eurostar either on the interrail/eurorail website (apparently currently not working) requires my pass cover number which I do not have (mobile pass)Could someone help with this? Thanks
I’ve booked a six-berth couchette on a sleeper from Toulouse to Paris this summer. I’m wondering if there’s any way to upgrade it to a four-berth, because there are four of us travelling and it would be great to have privacy. It didn’t seem to be an option when I booked (maybe because my interrail pass is standard class). Anyone have any experience of changing a booking like that?
Hi, my girlfriend and I are looking to book some French and Italian trains which require a cover number, but we both have mobile passes. I’ve gathered this is a v common problem, so was hoping somebody would be able to sort us out with some cover numbers asap so that these trains don’t get all booked up!(i will happily provide both mine and my girlfriend’s reference number via pm) Thanks!
The wife and I will be traveling from Canada to Paris and making our way to Bad Hofgastein later in May. We purchased two eurail global passes and have found the trains that work best for us. Using the Rail Planner app I am able to link my pass and plan my trip. However it seems nearly impossible to reserve our seats. I believe the error we made is we purchased the rail passes through Rail Europe and not directly from Eurail. Is there a way around this or will reserving the seats at CDG be a fairly quick and easy process? We have approximately 1 hour 30 minutes from plane landing to when our preferred train leaves. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
Trying to book tickets for a train from Edinburgh to York on my mobile app. Trains leave like every half hour. Most require seat reservations, but several don’t. Reservations are only a few dollars so I’m thinking I’d like to get one just to feel like my seat is secure. I can’t figure out how to purchase it on app though. It says I need to do it in person. So confused.
