If I were to buy a ticket for Berlin at 11pm with the arrival at 6am the day after, would it count as 1 day or 2 days of travel?
Hey, I have a flexi pass interrail ticket and wanted to book my first travel day over the app.I am from Germany and want to take an ICE to Switzerland. Unfortunately the app says then, when I want to activate the ticket, that its not valid for the countries. When I want to book something in switzerland it is working. How is this possible and what can i do? Thank you in advance!
During the sale I bought a 1 month pass. The pament went through and I see a 252 euro transaction on my bank. The Interrail website said the payment was successful. But the order isn’t visible in Order overview, neither did I get a conformation email.
My family's seat reservation from Vienna Central ends one stop too soon in Budapest before the one we will exit the train. Our reservation in 1st class ends in Kelenföld instead of Keleti, which is the next stop 20 min later. Should I just keep the reservation and take the chance no one has the same seat reserved to the next stop or what do you recommend (Return for refund and rebook or other ideas)
We bought two interrail tickets with my girlfriend. We are currently in Germany now but we are residences of Turkey. We bought the tickets from allaboard.eu and now we see the inbound/outbound rule while trying to book trips and we realized our residence country shows Germany. We want to change it to Turkey. Can it be done in one afternoon? How much does it takes? We want to start travelling tomorrow and we already book hostels. Please help us!!
Hi! I’m travelling through the Nordic countries this summer and I have some issus with booking seat reservation for a leg of the trip.I tried to book reservation Narvik - Gallivare for the 15th of August (ideally the 3.10pm train) on interrail and vy but it seems that the trains are fully booked for a few days. I booked the Inlandsbanan from Gallivare on the 16th so I kind of really need to find a way to go there on the 15th…On interrail, the reservation goes through until last minute (‘review your order” page) where it says “Please try to find an alternative connection. The unavailable leg will be removed from your cart.”On vy the train show fully booked.Do you know if there’s another way to get a reservation? Or an alternate route/way to get there? Or should I continue checking the page in hope of someone cancelling their booking?Also, I saw that acprail still sells ticket at this time so I’m a bit confused (not only reservation through).Thank you in advance for your help!
Hello, yesterday april 4th I ordered and payed for a mobile pass but I have not received it. The amount has been drawn from my bank account but when logging onto my eurail it says I have no orders. I have searched the community and seen that others have had similar difficulties. I have emailed customer desk but without any response and from what I have read in other threads in the community they do not always respond within the promised 48 hours which makes me stressed since I need to start making seat reservations. Hi, I’m trying to get from Germany to Poland and tried booking online with https://www.bahn.de/ and checked the Eurail site and it says you need a paper ticket.I’m currently in Hamburg. Do I need to find a DB ticket office somewhere in Hamburg? If anyone knows where that might be, that would be great.Thanks
I’m going to make approximately 12 journeys with my euro rail pass in Italy.For some long journeys such as Lecce to Perugia I must pay a reservation fee of 12 Euros.My question is for short journeys say from Bari to Ostuni can I travel without paying a reservation fee?
Hej,Adding two trips (connections I found in the planning tool), only one trip was added to the ticket the other never appeared, however the slider in the planning tool shows that it is added.Is this a common issue? What to do about it? Anyone out their with the same problems?(In my special case it doesn't matter because I have 9 euro ticket for the part which doesn't appear on the ticket.But affecting high-speed trains and other countries it would be an issue.)
Hi! I have a 10 day Global Pass and am trying to book my seat reservation from Paris to Barcelona on March 17, 2022. It appears my current option is only a paper pass (which wouldn’t arrive soon enough) so I will need to make this reservation at the Paris Gare de Lyon station. The issue is that I will not be able to get to the station until the morning of the 17th, only a few hours before the train to Barcelona is scheduled to depart. What is the likelihood that I will be able to secure a seat? Is it possible to secure day-of seat reservations?
Hi, I’ve just activated my pass and my first journey is tonight which is a night train out of my home country (outbound journey). Without thinking, I’ve added a travel day to this journey. Will the system realise this is only an outbound journey and cancel out this travel day / reset the amount of travel days? I can’t cancel this travel day as it is today. I marked it as an Outbound journey on my planner. Thanks
Hello! I (UK resident) understand that if I use the Eurostar from London to Paris it counts as a British journey, with regard to rules on use of Interrail passes in your home country. However I can find any info on the return Eurostar journey (Paris-London) - does this count as a ‘French’ journey or a ‘British’ one? Thanks very much.
Hi, my credit card was recently charged for three reservations which I never received (neither via email nor do they appear in the account of my ordered bookings). However, I wrote to their customer service address, but time passes by and I do not get a notice from Eurail. In my eyes, this is complete lack of professionality and actually a bit a fraud behavior. What is your experience with similar issues?
Me and my friends are interrailing at end of august beginning of september… And we traveling directly from Lesce Bled to Split catching the night train in Zagreb. I also know it is only posssible to book croatian trains at the station but i was wondering if we can do it from slovenia or another country close by since the train from slovenia only arrives at zagreb 3 hours before the night train departs and we would have only those hours to have seats.
Hey, I am from Germany and want to travel Stuttgart - Prag - Warsaw - Amsterdam - Antwerpen - Bruxelles - Paris- Stuttgart. But this would mean, that I would travel trough my home country of Germany three times in total. 1. Stuttgart - Prag 2. Warsaw - Amsterdam 3. Paris - Stuttgart. So 1. Would be my outbound journey and 2. my inbound journey. And for 3. I would travel Paris - Strasbourg (with the Interrailpass) and then book a normal train from Strasbourg to Stuttgart. Would this plan work? Because I am not sure about how the inbound and outbound journeys work, from my understanding I can travel 2 days inside of Germany with the inbound and outbound journey, or am I misunderstanding something. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me.
Will my train journey from Wales to the Eurostar (both inward & outward) & onto Florence (overnight bus connection from Paris via Milan) be counted as one travel day? And is the bus connection considered as part of the same journey since the only alternative seems to be a train connection that involves an overnight wait of nearly 8 hours.

Added today as a travel day accidentally on the app. Cannot delete. I need all my travel days and this ghost travel day deleted from my pass.The app defaults today as the travel day and it is a very easy mistake to make. I need this travel day removed. I filed a ticket a few days ago but I have not received a response. I need this done ASAP and escalated if possible. Please see attached screenshot. I need the travel day removed from my pass. I have not connected any journey to this travel day so it should not count as a travel day nor did I use any rail services that day. I did buy some paper ticket reservations for 4 persons next week for Spain, but I can’t use them. Is it possible to give them back? Would it be allowed to just give them to somebody else? If yes, is there a common forum for that?
Hi,I already have used the interrail ticket for several times, but this time I really have trouble getting reservations and now travel time is longer than expected. I know that I am late this time for reservations in the next two weeks in France, but the last time it worked for me. So, it would be nice to see if reservations are possible for my train connections before I buy a pass and then I could decide against it. Is this possible? GreetingsMartin
Hello, I got interrail global pass with 2nd class ticket and when I reserved seat St Pancreas London to Paris the booking office of Eurostar gave standard premier class in Eurostar. So will it be an issue? when I will be traveling.
Dear support team,I recently received an updated invoice for a company purchase of Interrail passes. Unfortunately, the invoice does not have Interrail's EU Tax Number on it, which means it is insufficient for the company's accounting needs.I would like to request an updated invoice that includes the issuer's EU Tax Number (VIES VAT number). Hi, I'm sorry to bother you, as this question occurred here many times. Unfortunately I wrote a wrong country of residency (Germany, as I study here) to my mobile pass, but I would like to change it to Czech Republic. I have a Czech ID to proof in the train.
