Can't make seat reservation Ljubliana-Split; ''prices unavailable''
Hello!I have two important questions:As you can see in the first image, it won't let me reserve a seat for either of the two trains from Ljubljana to Split. Do you know how and where I can reserve seats on both trains? Does it mean that they are full or that I have to buy the ticket at the station? The second question is why on the seat reservation website (first image) it says that the train from Ljubljana to Zagreb is the NT 415 and in the application (second image) where I have the pass it says that it is the EN 415 train? Thank you!
Experience with traveling with screenshots of QR codes?
Following problem: I bought the mobile pass (as I have in the past) and did not realise my Iphone 6 is no longer supported by the app ( what I find highly annoying is that the app itself still runs perfectly on my phone, it is only when I want to add a new pass that it asks me to update the app - super misleading!). long story short, interrail refuses to give me a full refund despite me being unable to use the product I bought, so I was wondering whether it might be feasible to activate the pass on another person’s phone and let them add the trips I need, and then just have them send the screenshot of the ticket to me?
Eurostar cancellation - advice is to request refund but Interrail site says non-refundable
I have had an email saying that my Eurostar from St Pancras to Brussels on train 9132 has been cancelled. This was a reservation for 7 people so it has cost us a lot. Eurostar tells me to seek a refund through where I booked it yet the Interrail site is having none of it and says it is non-refundable. Their support are yet to get back to me after contacting them a week ago and apologising that they’re busy.It would be great if they could clear up what is happening with cancelled Eurostar trains. I also don’t want the reservation using up a travel day as it will limit us the rest of the trip.Will Interrail refund me?
Charles de Gaulle Étoile station part of RER line? But it says pass is not covered
Since the eurail pass covers RER SNCF only and not metro in Paris, looking online it says the Charles de Gaulle Étoile station is a part of RER line A but it says pass not covered? i’m obviously going wrong somewhere lol
Buying seat reservations in the UK, Global Pass.
I will have a 2 month Global pass to travel.I need to know how or what is the best way to buy seat reservations on trains in the UK.For example Euston Station to Glasgow CentralGlasgow Central to Euston Station.Can you do it at the Station on the day if your travel?Or prebook before you go?
Interrail for residents of Northern Ireland
I live in Northern Ireland. Given that the whole island of Ireland is regarded as a single entity for Interrail purposes does this mean that a Global pass which I buy would be valid for unlimited travel in Great Britain? Similarly, am I able to buy a Great Britain single country pass (as would be the case if I lived in the Republic of Ireland)?
Booking seat reservations without a paper ticket
Hello - We have a global pass and we are currently in the US. We are trying to book the 11:22am - 6:20pm trip from Prague to Budapest on November 17th in First Class but it is requiring seat reservations. We tried to book that online but apparently it is paper tickets only and we received a message telling us that we can't book this online because the paper tickets can't get to us on time. Is there any way that we can book our seat reservations now without paper tickets?
No reservations but still tickets on SNCF booking site
Hello, so I am trying to book a reservation from Nice to Paris on November 6. The eurail booking website doesn’t have any and when I go to the station, they said that they only have 1st class available for reservations, no second class. But when i check the SNCF booking website, the train is not sold out, there are still tickets there for sale. Does this just mean that the Eurail seats are sold out, like is there a maximum number of seats Eurail can reserve?
Problems with seat reservation: Italy to Germany on a OBB Nightjet train
I am not able to book a reservation for this journey (screenshot attached). The website for reservations looks slightly different from what it was a few days ago. Is there a problem with the website that will be fixed soon? My journey is coming up and I need a reservation. I’m travelling from Italy to Germany on a OBB Nightjet train. Is there another way to book the reservation? Reservations are not available on the OBB website even when Eurail website shows ‘high availability of seats’
What happens during changing of trains
Hello! Some background context: I have never travelled in Europe and hence have never boarded any of these Eurail trains before. Also, my vaccination is not an EMA vaccination and hence is not recognised in all European cities. I thus make sure that my country I am setting off from and my destination country all accept my vaccination type.However, I am concerned about the issue of having to change trains during the journey, and would like to ask about the procedures that take place during changing of trains in a stopover country during the journey. Specifically, if I have to change trains in countries that don’t accept my vaccination type, will I be stopped from changing trains? Or is it that so long as I can board the train from my starting country, there will be no issue in changing trains in the stopover city i.e. vaccination status will not be in issue during the stopover?Thank you so much!
Italy Seat Reservation Self-Service Ticket Machine
Hello! I'm in Italy currently and I'm having trouble using the Trenitalia self-service ticket machines to make reservations for Eurail. Does anyone have experience doing it successfully?According to the Eurail website "At a self-service machine at main Italian train stations. Select your train and click on "Global Pass". This seems really out of date and doesn't make sense. I can't see any Global Pass option at all.I'll head to ticket office to make reservation a little bit later (I was too short on time to queue earlier), just checking if I'm missing something.
All reservations shown as "Not available"
Hello!I am trying to book seat reservations on the Interrail website. The train I would like to book (a TGV Paris-Karlsruhe) is shown as “Not available”. At first I thought the train might be full, but then I also checked other dates (every day of the week) and other cities (Stockholm to Malmö, Hamburg to Karlsruhe or to Amsterdam, etc...)Every single train I checked, regardless of time of day, date or city, is shown as “Not available”.Is there anything wrong with the website or the interface, or am I missing something?For information; I tried on both Chrome and Firefox, as well as the app. I have a valid mobile pass, bought at the end of June, which I will start using next week. I am booking only for myself.Or perhaps I need to add the travel days to the mobile pass first?I’m thankful for any help or tips!Cheers,
Ticket and seat reservation Austria. Can I book a few days before travelling?
I will be traveling in the next weeks in Austria (I am from Canada, dont realy know how trains work). I want to know if I need to book train tickets right now or just a few days before travelling is ok. Also do I need to reserve seats ? I find information online that it should not be required but it is all pre-covid and I want to make sure it’s still valid. I will be doing Wien to Schladming 13 of July, Schladming to Innsbruck 16 of july and Innsbruck to Langem am Arlberg 18 of july. Thanks !
Reservation for Renfe train made by phone
I just called renfe and made a seat reservation for me and my children (all with interrai passes). The operator gave me a code, called something like Locator number, and told me I need to find it in the interrail site to pay for the seat reservations.They also said they will send the code to my email.1 - Does anyone know where can I add this Locator number in the interrail site? Has anyone some experience with renfe and this way of booking seat reservations?2 - What are best practices when the seat reservation is not possible to do in the interrail site? Neither on deutsche bahn site and neither on scnf or renfe… etcI did not get any email from them… now I am afraid there is no seat reservation and I will miss this connection :(Thank you in advance for any help.

Route recommendations for Switzerland and Italy
Hello: My friend and I are travelling around Europe next month. And are going to a couple of smaller cities/towns including Montreux, Switzerland, Genoa, Italy, and Cinque Terre, and La Spezia. Does Eurail have trains that go to these places? Is there a map I can see of all train stations that Eurail is included on? David
App says "It looks like you are offline. Go online to see your passes" while I'm connected to internet
Hello. I have an urgent question/issue. My Eurail app keeps saying that "It looks like you are offline. Go online to see your passes", when I try to view my pass (QR code). The internet on my phone is working fine (both WiFi and mobile data). I have restarted the app, restarted my phone, disabled the app and enabled it, but still getting the same error when trying to access my pass. Can anyone help?
Can I end my trip halfway or change my destination afterwards ?
Hi there!I'm planning to go on a trip through Germany in a couple of weeks. It’ll be my first time using Interrail, so I want to ask about a few things to ensure that my trips goes as smooth as possible. ;)So I'm going to assume that I'll be traveling with a Mobile Ticket (though the paper version probably isn't that much different in this case). As how I understand it, I need to fill in the trainstation where I'm departing from and the destination I'll be travelling to. The app will generate a code/ticket which I can show to a ticket inspector (this also works without internet, right?). Please correct me if I'm wrong!Now my main question: may I leave a train earlier than I wrote down in the app? Example: I'm in Hamburg and want to take a train to Kassel, so that's what I'll write down in the app. However, halfway on my journey I change my mind and want to stop at Hannover (where that same train makes a stop too). Will I be able to change my destination from Kassel to Hannover afterwar
2nd class pass - 1st class reservation
Hi! I bought a second class pass for 4 days. Travelling from Copenhagen to Stockholm is one of my journeys. This journey, however, requires a reservation. I tried doing this via SJ‘s website and it actually works. The thing is that the 2nd class reservation costs 69kr but right next to it there’s the option to choose first class for 140kr which sounds really tempting. Since I had to provide my Interrail pass number in the process I’m wondering if I can make the 1st class reservation and take that train (with my 2nd class pass)? Do you think that’s possible or shouldn’t I even had the option to choose a first class reservation?Thanks!Cheers,Andrej
Train fullly booked - DB
Hi guyys, I would like to take this train for my next trip but on the site bahn.com it is written "train is fully booked" and "passengers who have not het purchased a ticket should choose a different connection". What does that mean ?? I have to take another train ? I can't take this train if I dont have a reservation or I can go in the train and stand up but I wont have a seat ? I have a second question : Germany has been affecte by the floods. Are the trains affected by this also ? Which train are affected ? Is Theresa a ensuite where we can see trains affected and trains non affected ?Thanks for your help !
