Pls advise:Is there any direct train from Milan to Zurich? How long it takes to reach there? Is there any direct train from Zurich to Lyon? Hoe long it takes to reach there? Do we need to make reservations for this trips? Thanks  

Hello :)I have the Mobile Global Pass for four days.I live in Göttingen, Germany and my first destination is Venice.I want to take a Nightrain on 27.March.22 departure Göttingen: 07.02 PMi need to change trains in Munich at 11 PM.I only have 20 minutes to change trains. can I take an earlier ICE train to make sure I don’t miss the Night-train (NJ40463?And also: This only counts as one travel day right? Because the night-train departs before midnight and I don’t have to change trains before I arrive in Venice.Which one of these two trains do I have to put as that outbound journey? I don’t really understand it the outbound journey thing.. because I read, that you only have one outbound and one inbound journey. Am I even allowed to use the train in Göttingen to get to Munich? lots of questions.. I know 😅but thanks in advance 

Hello,Im all new here and just found out that it is better to buy the route (Offenburg to Kehl Grenze or Krimmeri-Meinau) because its not allowed take two trains in the country of residence. I am now on the second travel day (night train) but still hours away from the journey. I wanted to cancel  the inbound/outbound but I cant because it is linked to the day and not the route. Why? Thanks a lot for your answer.Kind regards

Hello, I'd like to ask whether the European railway pass in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the cross-border trains in Montenegro, Kosovo, Serbia, northern Macedonia, Albania, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania can't be booked. I can't find it on the app. Then I see that the European railway pass has four free rides on the Greek islands and two Italian round trips to Greece, but there is no one when I click the preferential option for four domestic round trips, However, there are round-trip tickets in Italy, as well as European railway tickets. Many of them are operated by railway, but they will appear when scheduled/

Hi! I’m planning a trip through Europe. I want to take a train from Berlin to Copenhagen, with a change in Hamburg at 23:56. If the previous train is not in time and I have to take the next train on the next day, does it count as 2 days of travel, or the travel day refers at the scheduled time?

For this reason, I would like to understand better what 'travelling in your home country' means so we can plan our route.Suppose we take a train from, say, Gèneve (Switzerland) to Barcelona (Spain). This is doable in a single day, with at least one change of trains in e.g. Lyon (France).1) Does this count as 'travelling in my home country', or is transit permissible?2) If it does, does it count as an inbound AND an outbound journey?3) (Assuming it does count) If there was a direct train instead, would this count, too?It would be great if someone could help clarify this.

Hello,I have a 2nd class Interrail pass and was wondering how I would go along with reserving a 1st class ticket on the Glacier Express. On their website the reservations is the same price as the 2nd class reservation (CHF49). 

hi, i would need help for my onward connection to final destination (Munich).  My initially booked reservation from London 1104am to Midi Brussels 205pm (Eurostar ES9126) Midi Brussels 225pm to Cologne 405pm (ICE17) - booked via DB Cologne to Dusseldorf (RE26879) Dusseldorf 1127pm to Munich 24th Mar 603am (ICE 619)  - booked via DBHowever, now that i missed my train and got rebook onto next train leaving London at 304pm and arriving Midi Brussles at 605pm. Is there a possibility that i can be taking the trains shown in the photo without having to pay for any extra fees? Also this would mean that my reservation fee for ICE17 will be wasted ? Lastly, any tips on how early should i be arriving at the train station for trains in Germany & Paris ? 

I realize the the train ticket (bar code) only appears on my phone. Question, can I plan my trips on my tablet then load the planned trip on my phone to get train ticket (bar code)

I need to cross my country in one day: brussel-to-amsterdam-to-dusserdorff. This is counted one day or two day?Can I use two outbound day instead of one inbound and one outbound ? 

Hi there,I´m planning a multistop trip from Spain to Germany. I´ve already bought a Pass, and could make all reservations except for one, from Hendaye to Paris with a TGV. For that connection I find: “ No price results were found for this connection. Please try searching again or find an alternative way to book”. The problem is, I cannot find any other alternative way to book the reservation, at least not a reasonable. I called today to SNCF, and they explicitely told me, it is not possible to buy seat reservations online, and also not at the phone. They said I must come to a french train station… which I can´t really believe…I won´t be in france until exactly the day of beginning my journey, and the missing seat reservation is for the first train I would need…. so it would be really risky to wait until minutes before departure to go in person to the service at the station and ask for buying the seat reservation. Hello, my girlfriend and I are planning a trip of 2 months through Turkey, Greece and Italy. We plan to start our trip in Istanbul and travel through Turkey with an Interrail Global Pass. After staying in Istanbul we want to go to Ankara and from there we are planning to travel to Izmir. But we can't figure out if Interrail allows us to travel from Ankara to Izmir by train using our Global Pass. According to interrail.eu you can travel from Ankara to Izmir making use of the night train which will take 15 hours and 20 minutes. But when I try to find the route in the Rail Planner app on my phone, it says "We couldn't find any stations matching Izmir in our timetable". Does that mean that there is no possibility to travel from Ankara to Izmir by train using Interrail? Or is there an alternative?

Hello,  I live in Switzerland, near Basel. It is very easy for me to go to the station “Basel, Bad. Bh.” which is in Germany. If I want to go to Berlin and other cities in Germany in one month, is it possible for me to buy a one-country ticket for Germany? Or do I need to pay a ticket for multiple countries (since Basel, Bad. Bh. might not be included to the stations that can be used for the interrail ticket)? And can a one-country ticket be used for all local trains in Germany (= not just the big cities as shown on the map of your website)?  If I was to buy a 3 month pass today and do I activate it daily or it just a straight 3 months then it expires , hope that makes sense

Dear all  This Saturday I am planning to go from Lille (France) to Barcelona (Spain) with my interrail pass. There is a change of trains in Lyon. For Lille-Lyon I can make my reservations for seats online, for Lyon-Barcelona I cannot - this needs to happen by post 6 days prior to departure (for which I am too late) or in a station. I live in Belgium, and here the local railway service (NMBS) does not provide seat reservation for trains to Barcelona (I really don’t understand why??). My solution is to go on Saturday to Lille (France) early enough and hope that it still will be possible to make reservations for my train from Lyon to Barcelona on that same day. Is there anyone who knows if this is possible? And whether I can check prior to departure whether there are still enough places free?Thank you in advance! Karel 

I recently bought two global pass 4day tickets and am trying to make reservations for the eurostar from london to bruxelles-midi. The website I am trying to order these seat reservations on asks for a Pass-Cover-Number. Where do I find this number if I do not possess a Paper-Ticket? I would be very thankful for a fast response Update: Thanks for the help - problem solved!

Hi, I’ve booked the trip on the app London St Pancras 08:16 to Amsterdam Central 13:11 (direct) on 13 June 22, but when I go to the Interrail website to book seat reservations, this particular train is not showing. I can see earlier or later trains (none of which are direct) - why would this be, and how can I book seat reservations on this Eurostar train? Thanks
