I saved two trip with two different names for my up and coming visit to England. Without my consciously doing so, the app has linked the SECOND of these trip to my pass, even though the dates is obvious after the first trip. Will this be the one I get when I activate my pass? In which case I really have to start again otherwisew I’ll be out of synchronisation. (How) Can I do this? HEEELP

If I just delete the journey can I start again and make sure it doesn’t get added to the pass until I’m ready? (Wanted to do all this in advance as I’m going sommewhere with dicey Internet connections) Thanks as ever for the guidance

Hi All, Have been learning a bit about travelling with a bike in a train in Germany. (Might help some others. And also others might have better solutions)I found this quite challenging: 1) Tried the Eurail app - this does not seem possible. 2) Tried the db Bahn app - but this seemed difficult to do without also purchasing a normal ticket as well.3) Tried ringing the db bahn.. And discovered a lot of the fast train (ICE) legs were already booked. 4) Decided to then use db bahn to filter a trip without fast trains.. which then allow bikes without reservations. It made the trip longer.. But possible! (I don't think there is a way in the Eurail app to filter out the fast trains.. So had to cross reference from the db bahn app) Now an travelling on the train.. But got in trouble because I was travelling before 9am on a regional train.. Around 60 Euro fine.. But thankfully my Australian accent + tourist ignorance saved the day

Hello I am new to this and have made two errors and cannot for the life of me work out how to fix. I have put my journeys on my pass for each day, but when I reserved the ACTUAL seats in first class on one leg I have put in the wrong date. When I try to change it is says it is non changable and non refundable. Do I just leave these and lose the money and rebook seats on the correct day and pay again or is there a way to change.  My husband, daughter and I all got 7 day in 1 month passes and I have started a booking for all three of us and we are all on the same trains for the first 4 - then our daughter goes off on her own with friends and is on different trains and destinations to us, but I mucked up and started the booking with all of us together and now need to seperate it so I can book the last three journeys seperately - but can’t work out if I can do this or if I have to start again. I have paid for seats on each of the four journeys I have

Hey! I don't know if this is the best way to do it or if it will lead to anything:Me and my trippartner met two french Interrailgirls in the metro in Budapest and wanted to exchange numbers to stay in touch. However the picture token of the number turned out to be totally blurry.How do I find them now? Mostly because we are leaving Budapest first thing in the morning tomorrow.Have a nice evening...I hope this question was at least entertaining  

Heidelboro again and once again, thanks in advance for your patience and generosity. So I’ve got my itinery for the first two (of 5) travel days sorted. Do I have to create a new QR code/ticket for the separate days or will the app notice the day I’ve booked the journeys are two different ones and just ask me if I want to use a new travel day?I’m sure all this is blatantly obvious once you get going, but until then...🤔Thanks, team.

Through Happyrail.com I just can buy first class seats in the needed train. Is it possible to buy a first class seat with my second class pass (The site let me do it). Thanks!

Estaremos viajando por Espana por 22 dias iremos a 15 diferentes ciudades: Madrid, Salamanca, Valencia Valladolid, San Sebastian, Pamplona, Bilbao,  Leon, Santiago de Compostela, Portugal Lisboa Sevilla ,Cordoba, Malaga, Valencia y Barcelona ,  Entre otras ; podré hacer todos estos destinos con Eurail?

Hello all - I’ve tried to find the answer to the following in the community posts but with no luck! If the question has already been answered, then apologies and please feel free to direct me to the post!I live in the uk and have a global pass - 15 days in 2 months. after i have returned to my home country (using both my in country travel days), i will be flying back out to europe within the 2 month valid period. I will have 4 travel days left, can I use these remaining travel days to take a train from Gothenburg to Copenhagen? I’m wondering if the pass is “complete” and ends once I’ve used my 2nd inbound journey? Thanks in advance, Tom.

HI! When I’m trying to book from Wien to Paris I found a good tickets through Frankfurt but once I arrive to the payment page it appears this message.Any suggestions? 

Bonjour, Nous partons bientôt avec 3 enfants de 8, 11 et 15 ans. On a voulu aller en Grèce puis au Portugal mais à chaque fois, il y a des tarifs supplémentaires. How we get those tickets, or we just have to show our interail pass to the train controller?Because I was checking that there are some that tell you a message such as:This is a popular train. Seat reservations are recommended, but not required.So, I was wondering how it works because we are travelling in four from Vien to Frankfurt.Thanks in advance.mariana

Hello, i am very new to this interrail thing and I'm trying to understand. I first thought that is I take a train on day 1 and it arrives on day 2 at his final destination, even is there is switches (that make part of the train trajectory), it still counted as 1 day. But when I checked for trains in the app I saw +1 day literally in every train I watched. Is it normal and does the +1 day means I spend actually 2 days of travel? Thank you very much.

I am new to all this and having a problem changing a booking. We are on a 4 day pass. The first day is sorted, Bolzano to Basel. Then I mistakenly booked to go to Paris BUT want to change to go to Amsterdam instead. Is this possible? 

I am a real newbie to all of this and struggling to make sense of it all. I am in the UK and have an Interrail pass. I downloaded the Rail Planner App and want to reserve seats for  my first journey. It defaults to Eurail and wants payment in Euros, however my website account is in GBP. I am going to travel in Norway so all journeys need a seat reservation.I do not want the exchange rate fee on top of the extra 2 euros Interrail charge and seat reservation charge. Is there anything I can do?   Are seat reservations only sent by post if you book via the interrail/eurail app/website?   I think you can get an electronic reservation from Entur - is this correct and then is it better to only book via this platform?  If I book seat reservations for myself and my husband together are they linked to both our passes? Thanks for any help.   

Good Evening Fellow Travellers.So I’m planning to travel from Antwerp to Liverpool in one day (Antwerp to Brussels/Brussels to London/London to Liverpool) Seat tickets for Eurostar and London - Liverpool are already booked on the trains we intend to use. If I try to set this up as one journey I am not offered the connections I want and indeed the only connections from Antwerp to Brussels is signalled as Not in the pass network as it is very fast which I don’t need, though if I just look in Antwerp to Brussels there are plenty I can use. Indeed all the trains I want are available individually.Can I simply book the three legs of the journey separately? If not, I’m in trouble.☹️Also: can one add journeys on the day of travel (after starting the trip) or do they all have to be booked into the App before boarding the first train of the day? As ever thank you again to whoever is kind enough to help the hapless

I’m looking to travel via train from London to Amsterdam on Dec. 20, 2025.  I was looking at passes as we will be traveling to other countries as well.  I understand that it will be booked via Eurostar, but does the pass not include weekend dates for reservations? Trying to find the cheapest way to travel :)

Hello,I have a global interrail pass and i plan to take the Caledonian Sleeper on october 19th from London to Edinbugh. I made the reservation with the caledonian sleeper customer service. The issue is that the timeline doesn’t match between what i got in my reservation (21h30 → 5h30) and on the website (21h30 → 4h44) and moreover the train doesn’t showed up on the interrail train planificator so i don’t know if its good or not.

Could someone confirm whether or not Global Plus Pass first class allows making reservations free of charge for Prémium class on Renfe AVE trains in Spain? As this is the real first class that would be the whole point in buying the Plus Pass. Otherwise getting just the seat without the first class experience makes no sense to me.

I purchased 6 Eurail passes for my family. I added their passes to my Eurail App. Booked the TGV train and paid reservation fee . I received pdf file with 6 tickets. But in my eurail app, it shows only me in the trip. How do I add others to that same trip?

I’m preüparing for my first trip with interrail and need some advice about setting things up on my mobile. Once again thanks again in advanc to the community who have been incredibly helpful already. I have two questions: When I “create a new trip” in the app is the pass just valid for the trains shown there? If I miss a connection and therefore have to deviate from the origional plan, I assume my pass will be valid for any train I then take. Or do I have to create a new trip so my pass is aligned to the new circumstances - also if I decide spontaneously to do something different? Once I’ve got the QR code - ist this just for the one trip or is this now my pass for any journey for the duration of my 5 day  “allowance”I didn’t realise how many wrinkles of uncertainty were going to manifest themselves.
