Hi. Couple questions for the group.1. Is it worth purchasing a EU Rail pass? I know this is a general question, but we have not travelled Europe by rail before. Or is it better to just book individual tickets?2. We are trying to book tickets from Paris to Bayeux return at the end of March and it shows lots of Paris to Bayeux options but zero options from March 25th onwards for the return option.  Is there a planned interruption at this time? Train shows “not bookable”

Hey there,I would like to travel from Cologne to Paris this Friday with my Interrail France Germany Pass.I've already read here in the forum that I can't travel directly from Cologne to Paris because the train goes through Belgium and that's not included in my pass. I would like to make sure that I have understood everything correctly:If I take the ICE from Cologne to Frankfurt, from Frankfurt to Karlsruhe and from there to Paris, is that ok? The journey still takes place in one day.And another question: Do I still have to reserve a seat on the ICE from Karlsruhe? It's a German train, but it goes through France, so I'm not sure.I'm a bit scared of this, as it says everywhere that you can't travel through your own country with the Interrail France Germany Pass. But I have to do it to get to France at all, don't I?Thank you very much for your help and best regards!

Hello, I’m planning to go Paris from London on the 28th of December 2023. I just need this one-trip as I already pre-booked other transportation methods for the remaining destinations of my trip. Does anybody know if I can buy a one-day pass on Eurail?

Hello all, I am planning to do a domestic travel within France with my partner, however he’s not a pass holder. The only way I’m aware of is for me to book on travel.b-europe.com for myself as a pass holder, and for him separately on other sites. Which would also mean we would not be seated together as we’d like. It’s quite important for us since we rarely see each other. My question is : is there any other way for us to book together even though he’s not a pass holder? I’m a new user so I don’t know much.Big thanks in advance for all the replies! 

Hey - We are off on a short 7 day trip Jan 1-9 and We are going from Paris to Amsterdam, Amsterdam to Bruge and Bruge to London - but I am so far only able to get a reservation for our Eurostar from Bruge to London Jan 5th. Question is - if there are no reservations for the fast trains - can one wait around the train station for a couple of hours with hopes to get on the trains - or will more reservations slowly appear?Should I keep checking back to see if reservations show up for some of our travel days or ask for a refund and book tickets normally?

i was planning a trip to swiss alps, but my family is not skiing, so not worth it. Asking for help planning 10 days in europe.  i need an itinerary that allows us to see as much as we can in a short time.  flying in to one city and out of another to maximize places visited would be great. thanks

Can I just clear up the advice about the Glacier Express.I planned on taking the 08:20 EC train to Brig and then travelling on to Andermatt, From what I understand, the 10:18  (PE902) is the Glacier Express, which would require an (expensive) reservation. However the 8:20 EC would only give me a narrow window to make the connection.If I look at a Milan to Andermatt booking, it takes me from the 8:20 EC to R43 which leaves at 10:23. In an earlier post it was suggested that I book the 11:23 Brig to Andermatt, which is the R43. Should I be taking the PE902 or R43? What’s the difference?  

Hey everyone,I am just wondering if i am travelling through Switzerland for 7 days and Milan for 3daysIs europass a better option or Swiss pass? 

I booked an obbnj first-class seat, but the ticket says second-class. Why is that? 

I see the Germany pass does not include night trains. Does this mean any train that travels though the night or just sleeper trains with beds? Would a normal ICE train leaving Munich at 1am for Berlin count as a night train?

Can I travel back and forth (Montpellier-Carcassone) using only one travel day ? If yes, how do I indicate this in the rail planner app?

I have two trains on my first journey ... my first travel day from Rome to Visp.During that day can I only have 1 ticket active with a QR code at a time? e.g Rome to MilanSo after the first train as I am running for the second interconnecting train do I have to activate the ticket for that train? Milan to Visp?Seems very messy and not explained in Planning App.

Hello, I would like to buy a pass for 1-month Eurorail pass to visit different country in Europe.The plan is take the train at night for each city, start the first train at night in Paris to Rome, to stay almost 3 days and then take the train to go a Piza, for a day, and then to Florence to stay 2 days, and then go to Venice for 3 days and then Milano for 1 day, after take to Saint Morits – Vienne 2 days, Berlin 3, Amsterdam 2, Copenhagen 1, Stokholm 1, Oslo 1, Bruxelles 1 day, London 1, Madrid 2, Portugal 2Looking for some suggestions on the above trip. what would be the best option?Please help me plan this trip. Buenas tardes, Estamos interesados en hacer un interrail dentro de poco, por tanto nos dirigimos a vosotros para preguntaros algunas dudas acerca del viaje. Para empezar, nos han surgido varias dudas acerca de la documentación que se necesita para poder viajar.  Por otra parte, nos gustaría saber todo sobre los precios: si hay algún descuento por ser estudiante, el precio total...  Cuanto es la cantidad maxima de personas que pueden participar en el viaje? Hay diferentes modos de viajar allí o distintos clases? Para terminar, les agradeceríamos mucho  que nos informaseis en torno al transporte y alojamientos que soléis usar. 

Hi everyone!I have bought one Deutschland-Ticket and I find that there is RE11 train from Koblenz to Luxembourg. I am wondering if the ticket is still valid for this train or do I need buy another ticket to Luxembourg?There are also similar situations for other RE trains to some cities in neighbouring countries.Thanks in advance!

I live in rural France , - it will take at least two train journeys to get to the final train that will take me across the border into Switzerland. If these are all part of my outward journey itinerary  on the same day, is this allowed?

Hi everyone, I am interrailing through Europe after Christmas. Between January 2 and January 5 (4 days) I want to go somewhere in the area of Slovenia/northern Italy.(I am also fine with other places but I think this area would be really nice!).
