Eurail & Interrail Passes

Various cities don’t appear at all, or only appear using alternative spellings : A. Neither Fussen nor Füssen (Germany) appear in the app at all - but they do appear in the DB app. I had to add the trips manually. B. Nor does Lubeck/Lübeck appear in the app, but Lubecca does.  C. Munich can be found using the German or English spelling but not Nuremburg, Cologne, et. The train company DB runs a bus from Fussen to Schloss Schwanstein, but the driver refused to accept the rail pass and had to pay full fare (but only 2.50 eu each way) The planning app ignores a connection from Nuremburg to Rotthenburg that goes through Ansback and saves 30 minutes of time - which does appear in the DB app. I was able to enter each leg of that journey as a separate trip. (It was 3 trains in each directions, so six train trips round trip).  Booking a trip from Munich to Hamburg nearly caused a problem because the planning app automatically went f

Hello all, Currently, there is a 10% discount on most passes. This discount-deal lasts until January 3 2022. If I buy a Global Pass now, making use of the 10% discount, does dat mean that I have to travel before January 3 2022? Or can I buy a pass now, making use of the 10% discount, and start traveling after January 3 2022?Kind regards,Aurora

My train was cancelled after my journey started. I therefore need to change the start day on my Global pass AFTER the start of the first day for which it is activated, since the cancellation of trains (with no other possibility to travel on the same day) was through no fault of my own. Please help. I did not leave the start country (switzerland) before the cancellation occurred and I had to go back. I have a General-Abo, meaning all my trains are already paid for within switzerland, so I have not used the Global pass at all yet for any journey. It is however already activated for today.

Is there any advantage having Eurail pass for journey between Interlaken and Jungfrauhoch?I read few things that there is 25% discount with Eurail pass, is it true?

I have a 2 month free travle global pass. My country of residence is Denmark and i want to take the train Home, see my friends, take a flight to spain afterwards and continue my journey from there. Im wondering if it’s possible to use your inbound trip and use your global pass afterwards?

I would like to know if Iunderstand this correctly. I know it's lockdown in eu. This is for future reference only. The Eurail pass that costs more than €300 is good for 10 destinations within 2 months, right?This means that I can travel/ride the train 10x regardless of my destination in eu as long as it's within 2 months. For example, I'm coming from Italy. I'd like to go to Vienna and stay there for a while. That is 1 travel, right?

Hello, I have bought my pass but i have a friend who also travelled in 2018 and he told me he have some troubles with the pass in some countrys like Estonia. I don't have more informations and i would like to know if there is some solutions or if you know it's already happened to you and what can i do if it happend. Thank you ❤️

Does anyone know if interrailing can manually cancel a travel day for you? As I’ve accidentally added a travel day unknowingly and cannot delete it as the day is today? Thanks!! 

My pass is on its way and will be delivered shortly.  I have to be at home to sign for receipt. What happens if I am not at home? Will the package be delivered on another day?  Thanks for your reply! 

Hello, I want to buy an interrail pass, but I would like to know 2 things:Is the mobile pass always 100% refundable (even after the promo ends - 30th November)? And if so is it usually more expensive than the paper pass? Can I exchange my mobile pass for a paper pass? If so what does it involve?Thank you for all the help you can give!

When searching for a train connection and selecting a date for travel, the app shows me routes on a different day (that I don’t want to travel on, usually the following day) and not on the day I want to travel on. The only way to get around this is to select a date I DONT want to travel on and hopefully get the date I want. This seems pretty ridiculous if I have to do this for every connection.I have friends who are currently travelling in Europe using the pass at the moment and are finding the app quite difficult to use because of various errors.Wondering if anyone is encountering these problems. I don’t want to be stuck with more problems when in Europe and if the app is really that poorly designed I’m considering cancelling the pass for a refund and buying individual tickets.thanks Andrew   

Hi!Is 10%Black Friday Sale applicable  to 4 days interrail pass in Finland? 

I recently purchased my pass a few weeks for the full standard price. However, I now see that there is a Black Friday promotion for 10% as well as "Plus" included. I was wondering if anybody has experienced anything like this & what options I might have? Has anybody been able to ‘price match’ with promotional passes?

Hey, it says I can travel with Interrail pass within 1 month, is that one calendar month or just 30 days? so If I start mid of December, will the pass still be valid mid of January?

I see Black Friday sale is 100% refundable, but while purchasing it shows 85% refundable. Which is true? Confused with advertisement 🙄and Does this refundable is in same mode of transaction or a Eurail voucher? Does this refundable offer applies until later 11 months?

Bonjour, Je viens d’acheter un pass jeune 22 jours que je compte utiliser cet été. Je voulais savoir si les deux voyages inclus dans le pays de residence doivent impérativement être réalisé au début et à la fin du voyage? De plus, je déménage et mon pays de résidence ne sera donc pas le même que celui inscrit sur mon pass, puis-je encore le changer ?Et dernière question, le pass inclut 22 jours de voyage, mais je ne sais pas si j’ai une durée limite pour l’utiliser ? Est-ce que je ne peux voyager que pendant 22 jours à la suite ou est-ce que je peux par exemple l’utiliser sur une durée de 6 mois ? En espérant que vous puissiez m'aider... Orianne

Dear Interrailers,we are planning our trip through europe. We want to buy the 3 month global pass but we have to choose between 1st or 2nd class.Beside the mentioned benefits on the homepage I have one question.We want to be flexible and therefore we will choose our train connections only a few days before the train ride. Sometimes there are no seats left in trains. Is it more likely to get a reservation in the first class? Does anybody has experiences with the 1st class and reservations?Thank you for you help. Kind regards 

I wonder if anyone could inform me how to handle this situation if it arises again. I had my ugliest train experience in Switzerland, on the 18 minute train ride from Lauterbrunnen to Interlaken. This train line is not SBB and so not offer free rides, but does give a 25% discount with the pass. I bought two paper tickets - which would have been about 7 chf each but were discounted to 5 chf or so. So I saved 2 chf using the pass.  A conductor questioned me about it - and wanted to see the QR code for the pass. Since the train trip does not even appear in the rail planner, I had no idea how I could generate a ticket. This was further compounded by having no internet access. I am not sure if I could have added it manually or what to do.  This conductor was almost yelling at us like she had caught some criminals sneaking on the train, and demanding we go with her to the office at the terminus. This then entailed nearly an hour of my time. At one

Hi everyone, I have a three month Eurail global pass and my mobile device shows the validity period as: 11 OCT - 10 DEC 2021. I presume then, that the pass will be valid on the 10th of December? I'm just confirming as I don't want to be left with an invalid pass on the final day.  Thank you very much
