Hi, when I bought our passes, I was asked to select our home country as UK or Ireland...so I selected UK as we're in N. Ireland...now my home country on the passes is given as Great Britain which doesn't include N. Ireland...I now need to change my home country to Ireland as Interrail seems to treat the whole island as one home country...how do I make this change?Thnx
Hi! I have been trying to cancel a mobile pass I bought on the 28th March with a PLUS insurance. Every single time I get into the Page, It leads me to 404 Page error. I have tried on different devices with the same result. It is absolutely important and URGENT for me to get the refund.Please, I need HELP
Hello,I am looking to travel to Germany, from the UK with my two young children, aged 5 & 9, this August. We are planning to stay for about 2-3 weeks and were hoping to travel by train within Germany whilst we are there. I was wondering if you might be answering the below questions: - what ticket type would be best for our requirements? - would the ticket be valid from within the UK to London, or is it only valid for the Eurostar journey, and then SNCF & DB- Can we use the ticket for any train, or only regional trains? - I am a German citizen with UK residence, my children have dual citizenship (UK & German), does this affect our eligibility for the pass? - How do I book? I basically don't know how Interrailing works, especially with young children and I feel fairly confused by the number of different websites out there. It would be great if you could point me in the direction of an official site, with clear information how it works!Thank you so much for your help in advan
Unfortunately my telephone fell in the water. On it was my mobile pass for eurail for this summer. Now I can not install the mobile pass on a different device. When I try I get the message it is not possible since it is already installed on a different device (the broken telephone). What to do? How can I install the mobile pass on a different telephone? The trave period is not started yet. The pass was no fully activated yet. I hope you can help me, Kind regards Marjolijn
Hello,Slightly confused about two things, if someone can help..First, I see posts from 9-10 months ago saying how you need to reserve a ferry ticket through email. Is this still true in 2022? There are online ferry websites of companies that cover the pass that offer tickets where you can enter a discount if you have Interrail pass, directly while buying the ferry ticket (like 20-30%). However, I didn’t see the option for the travel day pass discount.Also if someone can answer, this page here says that the 4-day travel pass only cover “Four FREE domestic trips” for Blue Star Ferries, not 4 days. I’m not sure which is true, or if I’m reading it wrong or if it’s a typo.
Country pass ticketHello everyone, i have bought a country pass ticket to portugal, i want to go in the end of july. But when i check out my trip for like say june(my bad for not doing so earlier). I see that i need to reserve seats for every train wich will be the cost of my ticket in the first place. And some trains can’t be boarded with country passes? I am just really confused, does anyone have any advice on what to do?
Hey desperately trying to book a seat from a train from narbonne, france, to madrid, spain. Train would leave on the 2nd of June, so there’d still be a full 7 working days to get the ticket to me, yet the interrail booking system says it would not arrive in time. Any alternatives? SNCF hotline kicks me out off the loop after 15 minutes, tried twice already. I’d have to cancel my entire trip otherwise.. -.- thanks
I ordered the 50% off pass for the 50 year anniversary - money has been paid and I’ve got a confirmation code but my actual ticket never arrived. I reached out to support and their phone didn’t work, and so tweeted them only to find that it was a different interrailing company offering it. emailed support and they’ve just said ‘we’re busy processing things’ but it’s been a week and I’ve now not heard from them for a few days. Am meant to be starting interrailing next week but how can I without the pass! Beginning to panic that it’s a scam somehow. has anyone got any suggestions/ had this issue?
Me and my buddy won an interrail ticket each recently (yeah us!) and we’re currently planning out our journey. However, my friend let me know about something he found online, specifically that there is a way to take people with you, who do not have their own interrail ticket? The general information we’ve gathered is pretty vague, something about those people being born between specific dates and the like, but I wanted to ask, is this information valid? Is it possible to take people who don’t have interrail with you on your travels, and use one ticket for all of you?
I already tried to reach out to Interrail via mail, but there was one reply more than a week ago. They sent an automatic reply and ask if my concern is still ongoing. I immediately replied and told them about my concern again. Since then nobody reached out for me. My problem is, my connected ID is not mine of my home country it is the residence permit of switzerland. I wanted to use Zürich as my place to stay during the Interrail. But on my first trip, when I actived my online pass, I had to connect my residence permit, since my german passport was at home. Now I cannot use any trains in Switzerland anymore because of in and outbound. It would be really keen, if anyone would be able to tell me how to reach out to interrail. The service station of SBB in Zürich cannot help me, since they have no access to online tickets yet. Thank you very much in advance!
I asked customer service about activation of global pass a week ago and this situation is emargency for me but I have not received response yet. I am traveling using this ticket now, and I am almost going to finish my trip. When can I get a response from customer service? Although I also texted message to personal one she has not reply as well.
I have bought a global pass when it was on sale. I entered wrong country of residence (Germany). I am now in Germany but I am here only for a 2 months language course. I have not activated my pass yet and it was a mobile pass. I would like to travel in Germany freely like others.
Hi! I’m wondering how the 30day interrail ticket actually works. I would like to know if I am allowed to travel from my country A, to country B and then come back to A for a while and then continue my journey to country C? Hard to explain but basically can I go to my own country in the middle of my journey or does the ticket end whenI go back to my country?
Hey everyone,I requested the refund of my pass with “Plus” option in March, since our desired destination is currently pretty close to an active war zone.Unfortunately there seems to be a problem with the refund on your side. I really understand, that you are receiving a lot of request these days, but it should be possible for a company to do a wire transfer within more than two months. The E-Mails I received in this matter yet only told me, that the issue is still pending - I can figure that out by looking at my bank account.This is a really frustrating situation, because it is about the budget for our vacation. We are disappointed that the support team has not been able to give us any more information yet and hope that we have more luck here.Best regards,Bene
Hi, I accidentally bought the wrong pass and so I followed the steps on the interrail website to exchange it for the correct pass. I sent my request over two weeks but all I’ve received is a string of confusing emails saying my requests have been merged and most recently an email asking to rate their customer support. I’m not sure if this means my request is being processed or if it’s somehow gotten lost.Should I send another request? I’ve put off doing this as I don’t want to confuse the matter further.It would be Ideal to talk to interrail customer support directly but I can’t find any contact number. I’m currently travelling and will be needing the money from the refund very soon. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks
If I’ve decided to take a certain journey with a couple of change overs but the train is delayed meaning I miss my change overs, is it still possible for me to check which trains are ok for me to take with my pass and just take them? This happened the other day so I only completed half my journey from the ticket that was scanned and on the other half of my journey no one scanned my pass. Basically what I’m asking, as long as it’s within 1 travel day is it okay to get as many trains as you like (if other trains are missed) and the scanning of the ticket doesn’t matter.
So I wanted to double check that this journey doesn’t need a reservation at any point (the app says no but wanted to make sure) I posted about this the other day but just wanted to check as the train times have changed (although I’m not sure why as the original journey is still saved in ‘my trip’- does this mean that journey is no longer available?)What is the website where I can check Brussels train times.

Hello together,I have a question regarding the inbound and outbound journeys.I want to travel from Munich to Paris but I need to change the train in Stuttgart. Are those trains all included in the Global Pass when it is in one day or do I have to book a seperate train ticket to Stuttgart?So is it just 1 train or is it 1 entire journey to the final destination?Thank you very much for your help.Best regardsMarius
Hello, If I activate my 2-month pass now and select the first day of travel (July 3rd), will it be active now for 2 months or on July 3rd for two months? I want to activate it now to reserve seats for some trains, but I’m afraid the pass would then start right now, and not on the 3rd which is the day I want to start my trip.thank you very much!
I cannot find the Caledonian Sleeper direct train from London to Edinburgh in the Rail Planner app. There are only options with one transfer. My questions are:(1) Is Eurail pass still valid on this train in 2022 whether it is a direct train or a train with transfer?(2) Is Eurail pass not valid on Caledonian Sleeper direct trains anymore now?Thank you!
