I'm travelling with family from zurich to venice, however given different coach and seat with my 2 year old son in trenitalia. There is no email contact given by ticket. How do I make the changes on my ticket?
Hi,I want to take the nighttrain at 22:18 at Milano P.Garibaldi (Italy), I would arrive at 20:50 at Milano Centrale (Italy) from Zurich, would that be enough time to transfer from one station to the other? And does the train from Zurich usually arrive on time? Thank you!!
I purchased a 4 day Eurail pass several months ago. I did not know that the pass needed to be activated. I then purchased several seat reservations, not knowing that they were not being applied to my pass. How do I fix this? Am I just out all the money I spent on seat reservations?
Hi, I wanted to book seat reservation only for ICE going from Karlsruhe to Strasbourg, but via the interrail app I cannot find the optin to choose the seat. Are they going to just out you somewhere? Also the price is no 21Euro for 40 minutes travel (for the reservation), last year I paid 5,80. Does anyone know, what´s going on? Reservation for SNCF from Strasbourg to Bordeau is 21 Euro, last year it was 10… Any ideas? Thank you, guys!
how to remove trip name & rename each trip individually ?
I will be traveling from London to Paris, returning to London two days later. Is there a Eurail pass for 1-day or 2-day travel? Also, will the reservation be included or is that additional?
I just purchased a pass and have started entering my itinerary. Most of the trip is through Denmark, Sweden and Norway. The TripPlanner worked fine in Denmark and Sweden parts but in Norway it doesn’t recognize or allow me to add some locations, specifically Gudvangen and Vossevangen as part of a segment from Oslo to Bergen. The stops should be from Oslo-Myrdal-Flam-boat to Gudvangen-bus to Vossevangen-train again to Bergen. Oslo-Myrdal-Flam-Gudvangen are all in one day. It also has some dates wrong and won’t allow correction. I’m doing this on a laptop because it’s easier for me than a phone. Should I only be entering the train travel? If so there will be gaps in the dates and locations. Thanks in advance if anyone can help me sort this out.
Good afternoon guys, I recently want to make reservations of trains mid may and when Im about to use eurail online page to check them out, I couldn’t find my pass and added coming trip that I have made in rail planner. What should I do? thank you in advance for the inconvenience caused, this is my first time to Europe and im traveling alone, not so sure about the connections between the app and the page. I haven’t activated the pass, just added it in the app and created the trip, not sure if that’s the problem.
Trying to make seat reservations on Renfe to travel from San Sebastián to Vigo via Madrid, preferably on AVE from 9 July 2025 (doing it in two/three hops). When do these seats become available to book ? I can see there are tickets on Renfe for these dates but they don’t appear to be on AVE trains. Very difficult to understand the system and when tickets are available to buy.
Hi!!! I’m traveling from Lithuania to Latvia and am wondering whether it is possible by train. After some research I found out that there are no trains between the countries and that none of them will take me over the border. If this is the case I wonder if I should use a bus. If I do, is it possible to use the Interrail pass in them when I’m buying the ticket? I have a Global pass that will be activated until August 2023. Thank you in advanceMirna Joronen
I’m currently facing a problem. I used a travel day for an overnight journey from Prague to Budapest, departing Prague at 22:01 and arriving in Budapest at 8:29 AM, with no stops or train changes after midnight — it was a direct train. Before boarding, I activated my travel day, but I don’t understand how the app allows you to activate a travel day without adding the journey first. If adding the journey is necessary and mandatory, why does the app allow this? Now I have an issue because I used a travel day, but there’s no QR code showing up anywhere.Additionally, the Czech railway company controllers told me that my Pass code was invalid and they couldn’t find it. I showed them the official Eurail confirmation email, the order number, the payment receipt — everything — but it was not accepted. I even showed them the email with the Pass code, but it didn’t help. It’s very frustrating to encounter these issues during such a long trip.Has anyone experienced something similar?
I booked a Nightjet train for me and my wife scheduled for May 25 which departs Firenze S.M.N. at 21:48 and arrives at Leoben H.B.F. at 6:25 via Nightjet 40294 on May 26 and then we transfer to Salzburg and arrive at 9:44 via Eurocity 218. I got a notification saying that the journey has changed with a change to the timetable and that my ticket will remain valid. However, it gives alternative trains and the option to pay for them again. Do I need to do this? I cannot tell what actually changed with my booking. There is still an alternative option taking Frecciarossa 9592 to Milano Centrale and then getting on the same Nightjet train to Leoben and then going to Salzburg, but it looks like it is asking for me to pay for this. I’m just not sure what to do and on top of that, my phone carrier is currently not letting me make international calls to OBB which is who I booked through. I’m working on getting that fixed as well. Any help would be appreciated to at least relieve some anxiety. T
Hello, I have a reservation for the train from Bologna to Messina. However, I would now prefer to depart from Milan instead of Bologna. It will remain the same train (Milan 8:10 PM -> Bologna 11:05 PM -> Messina 12:45 AM). Is it possible to change my reservation for free without canceling the original reservation? Thank you.
Hello, I want to activate a Turin - Paris route, but it says that I no longer have any inbound/outboung routes for France. How can I add more, where can I buy some ? This is an urgent request, please. Thank you.

Hi,I would like to check one thing regarding the 4-day Greek Islands Pass.I was checking a ferry from Piraeus-Koufonissi, and the only seat available are the “Airplane Type seats” and there is the option for discount “Greek Island pass 4 days -100% (Highspeed)”. My question is: Can I use the 4-day Greek Island pass to book this ticket? My major doubt is because it is an airplane type seat, not economy, and says the “(highspeed)” which I don’t know if it has some special meaning. Thanks if someone can give some input on this. Hello,Thank-you in advance for taking the trouble to read this. We will be taking a trip within Europe and I understand about being allowed two days in the home country, one to leave and one to return. There is no problem for the day when we leave as we will be exiting France on day 1. However on our return the plan is to stop overnight in Zurich, then travel to Paris where we would like to overnight again before leaving from Paris to our French home town. Part of the Zurich to Paris leg will of course be in France. Does this mean that the penultimate day and the leg from Paris to home will count as two travel days on the Pass? Or as it is solely in the direction of our return would it be allowed as just one day (I am hoping so!). Otherwise we will have to do the whole bit from Zurich to Paris in a single day. Thank you for any help that you can give me 😀
Hi all, how do i add a journey to my trip if the journey does not show on the planner?Example: I’m travelling from Brussels to Berlin via Cologne. Int.bahn.de shows this service at 06.25, 08.25, 10.25, 11.25, 12.25, 13.25 and so on. Trip planner shows the service only starting from 11.25 and then less frequently than is actually timetabled.I have the same thing with other journeys where i can see a single direct service exists, it accepts interrail reservations but it is not shown as an option on the planner - which advises tortuous 5+ change routes adding hours and 100s of unnecessary miles to the trip. What am i missing?
On my first day of travel I need to go from Innsbruck to St Moritiz. The planner is saying I need to take three trains. My question is do I book the three trains individually and get 3 tickets or do I book it as one trip Innsbruck to St Moritz and get one ticket? Thank you
Looking for a travel buddy – Interrail May 2025 🚆🌍Hey! I’m [your name] from Germany, and I’m planning a scenic Interrail trip through Norway, Sweden and Finland from May 17 to May 26, 2025.My route includes amazing train rides like the Raumabanen and the Nordland Line, with stops in cities like Stavanger, Ålesund, Bodø, Stockholm, Turku, and Tampere. I’m all about nature, unique rail routes, and beautiful views – less about big cities and nightlife.I’m looking for a relaxed and open-minded travel buddy (or buddies) who enjoys exploring new places by train, shares a love for Nordic landscapes, and is up for spontaneous detours or photo stops. Whether we travel the whole route together or just part of it – totally open!Let’s make this an unforgettable trip! Feel free to message me if you’re interested 🚉❄️🇳🇴🇸🇪🇫🇮

My family and I agave the Eurail Pass and have been using it for 3 weeks. Our next stop is Paris. We are staying in Montrouge for 4 nights and then flying out of Charles de Gaulle Airport. How do I find the closest train station in the Eurail network to where I’m staying in Montrouge. Is there a function on the Eurail App that allows you to see all the stations that are in network? I’ve messed around with the app a fair bit but still haven’t found a way to do this. I’d be grateful for any help you can provide.
