Hello, I am trying to book seats through Interrail, but unfortunately the website is not working or keeps showing errors. My trip will be long with many transfers, so I wanted to book using Interrail, but it is not possible. Does anyone know what to do in this situation? I am a little anxious about it because I planned to visit three countries and now the Interrail reservations are not working. Thank you in advance for any help. 

Looking for recommendations. We are traveling to Switzerland and France flying into Milan taking train to Switzerland for 1 week and then going to France for a week. Would a Eurail pass be the best choice and if so does it include the Glacier Express?Thank you!

I would like to make a reservation for the London Paddington to Penzance route, as described here: https://www.seat61.com/interrail-and-eurail-reservations.htm#how-to-make-reservations-in-britain. When I select ‘Make a reservation’, the mentioned pop-up with ‘Next’ appears for a fraction of a second, immediately followed by an error message. I have tested this on several browsers and also on mobile devices, and the result is the same everywhere. My pass has not yet been activated, but I don't think that should be the cause of the problem. How can I make my reservation? I booked a Eurostar Plus seat reservation from Amsterdam => London => Amsterdam this coming weekend (outbound 13/3, return 15/5) with my 1st class Interrail pass. The return leg was cancelled without letting me know. Has anyone else experienced the same?Last night I checked in the Eurostar app and the return leg said “Cancelled”. I received no email or or SMS. No explanation. Nothing about a refund. On the Eurostar website (not the app) the return part of the journey has just disappeared. On the B-Europe site (where I booked it) the return part has disappeared without any mention.The train I booked on is still running. I can see it on the Eurostar website. A single 2nd class ticket is €198.On the B-Europe site I paid €45 for each direction. It now shows that it costs €67. There is no mention of a refund.I’ve had to book the night ferry for €150 (plus train on the NL side because it’s another day of travel) because I need to trave

Hi, does anyone know how to actually reserve train seats on the train websites, not the Interrail/Eurail site? I’ve seen a few people say to do this, especially with night trains or when the seat reservation isn't available yet on the Interrail site. However, whenever I try to do this on the actual site, like Railjet, it says I need to book a ticket as well and doesn't give me the option to enter my rail pass and then pay for the seat.  Help anyone who's a 1st-time Interrail user?? Hello, I have the eurail global plus pass class 1. And I want to buy a sleeper ticket from Nice to Paris on Mar 26. But the website shows there are two same class name 2nd class — Tarif PASS EURAIL INTERRAIL while one is free and the other need one point. Is there something wrong? How can I book a sleeper one? 

I am American and will be taking the train from London to Frankfurt in April, changing trains in Bruxelles-Midi (Belgium).  How much time will I need to change trains in Bruxelles-Midi incorporating the time needed for the new EES system.  Thank you.

Hi AllOur first post!In September we (wife and I plus a 3 year old and 9 month old) are travelling London - Paris - Bern - Karlsruhe - Brussels - London I've had limited train travel experience in Europe. Do trains typically have space for pushchairs or when booking reservations do I need to request specific spaces? Ideally I would like us all sat together on the train. Again, when booking is there something I should be selecting when buying reservations?Thanks in advance

I haven’t gotten a confirmation email or anything like that and I’m really lost on how I’m supposed to active my pass on the app without a pass number!  please help me :(

Hello, since one week I try to find a way to make a reseration for train ECE 151 from Freiburg/Germany to Milano. But neither at Interrail.eu nor directly at Bahn.de can I get a reservation for a seat. How can I manage that? Or is the train not free for a global pass Interrail? Please help me. 

I seem to have missed out on tickets for 31.07.26 for 31st July from Milan to Paris, which I understand became available 150 days before, so 2 days ago. If I can’t get tickets to travel on this date through another suitable route I’ll be looking to travel this route on the soonest date afterwards. Does anyone know if tickets become available at midnight in the UK 150 days before? Are they likely to have sold out because Europe has access to the same tickets earlier because of the time difference? Any advice appreciated.

Hello. I’m planning a 3 week trip stretching from Barcelona to Belgrade, and was planning to take the train through the south of france and north of italy. I’ve heard a lot on here about the issue of rail pass vs just buying individual tickets, especially in France, Spain, and Italy. I was wondering if there is any advantage at all to buying a rail pass in these places on this time frame?

Ich versuche gerade für den Nachtzug NT 94 am 27.05. Von Stockholm nach Boden (Schweden) ein Schlafwagenabteil zu reservieren. Im RailPlaner werden mir aber nur Liegewagenplätze in der 2. Klasse angeboten, obwohl in der Übersicht bei der Zugverbindung Private Schlafwagen aufgeführt sind.  Es gibt auch noch freie Schlafplätze, da ich auf der WebSide von SJ.se Plätze buchen könnte. Die wären aber mit dem Preis für die Zugfahrt.  Weiß jemand, wie ich entweder über den Railplaner an die Schlafwagenplätze komme (habe einen 1. Kl. Mobil-Pass) oder wie ich auf SJ.se Schlafwagenplätze ohne Zugticket buchen kann.

I'm planning an Interrail trip this summer (around August) with 3 friends.We were wondering if it's a good idea to sleep on the train for one night (for example from Amsterdam to Berlin) to save money, or if it's better to book accommodation.Also, would you recommend reserving seats in advance, or is it usually fine without reservations?Any advice or personal experiences would be really helpful. Hi guys! Would be interesting to make a collection of experiences with train cancellations, missed connections and being stranded etc and what solutions the companies provided. Ideally also with a year provided because experiences may change over time.  I will start with two recent experience: November 2025 (RENFE, Spain): I missed my AVE from Madrid to Montpellier because of a delay coming from Andalusia. At the help desk in Atocha they wanted to offer me a hotel free of charge and that I could use the same train the next day. But as I had to be at home in Austria the next evening, I asked if I could go to Barcelona and take the AVE to Lyon the next morning. They agreed, gave me a hand written seat reservation for the next AVE to Barcelona and said I should go there to the customer service.In Barcelona the staff was everything but friendly and said it’s two different companies blabla and that they can’t provide hotel. The station of Renfe Cercanias’s Tres Cantos does not appear automatically in the app so I entered it manually, the app gave me the QR but this QR was not able to get read at the entrance at Madrid-Recoletos station, the attendant at the station told me that Cercanias was not included in Eurail pass but the list shows it as included. Does someone knows what to do?
