I would like to book the night train on August 24th but that is not possible. It always just says that the train is temporarily available. Even if I look in June I get the same information. what's going on? Have somebody any Information here?

I’ve seen it but can’t find it now. Looking for a website that has the makeup and loads of specific German trains (IC/ICE). It lists the number of cars (wagens) and seating arrangements, seating plan as well as loads I think. Or perhaps it lists the number of total seats. Thank you. 

Hi there We need to book a seat reservation from Split to Zagreb on the 10th of August.  Reading the information on here I understood that this could be done via the OBB website but I can’t find it on there. According to Seat61 there are 2 trains a day from Split to Zagreb and on the Croatian railways website I can see both of them at 0823 and 1404. But when it comes to a seat reservation on the OBB website I can only see the 0823 one and it is the 1404 I need.Will it, therefore, be a case of having to book the seat reservation when we get to Split at the train station there?  Just seems weird one train is showing on OBB but not the other.

Estoy intentando hacer una reserva de asientos en esta página pero, al seleccionar "entradas y reservas" el valor aumenta considerablemente. ¿Es necesario que debas seleccionar lo ya mencionado? ¿Debo seleccionar "solo reserva" para obtener asientos?Considerando que tengo un pase global.Quedo a la espera de sus comentarios y ayuda. Travelling from Salzburg to Ljubljana on a Friday in August. From what I understand we are ready to board with our passes and don’t need to reserve seats, but can if we wish to. Would you advise booking or do you think we will be ok without reservations? Would like to save money where possible, but equally am happy to pay if it’s worth it.  Thank you :-) 

Hi I've been looking details every where on when We must use travel day or not to get travel discount in interlaken - first - jungfraujoch. Seems like the infos are confusing.  https://benefitsportal.eurail.com/benefits/jungfraubahn/One site tells that we need travel day to get discount. While on the thread of this community said that travel day are no need.   Which info is the correct one?Or can it be verified on the interlaken ost Station? Thank you in advance

I’ve just seen the advertisment for the 20% discount for Interrail passes.   I went onto the site  to purchase two 2nd class 7 day in month Senior passes. I get to a page which says:How would you like to receive your Passes? One can choose between mobile and paper versions, but the paper version is the one currently ticked.  I tick “mobile app” and press “Proceed”, but it reverts to Paper. And unless I stick with the Paper version I can’t proceed..However it clearly says on the site: “Now available as a mobile Pass” Any suggestions as to what is going wrong, and what I should do? Thanks, Peter

Good day!   I'm about halfway through a 2-month, 15-day stint on Interrail.  Now attempting the UK, and the ACPrail site is giving me an error that is not user-friendly enough to help me correct the error.  Trying to book from Harwich to London using https://www.acprail.com/seat-reservations/.  I have confirmed that tickets are available on this train on the Greater Anglia there: and I can happily buy them at full price; however ACPrail is preventing me from getting a reservation only, on any train.Have been to many countries, and was able to book Eurostar, even the Stena Line, without a problem.Pre booking error: Reservation on this train is currently impossible or the fare selected is not available anymore.Please advise.  Thanks in advance !

Hi there, does anybody knows about this? My pass and all trips disappear from app - already twice when on train. I am offline generally. mostly it works but when not, I risk to be fined while I payed 850€ for the pass.. I hate the app coz it is mega complicated and does not work… thxx!

I still have a few travel days left and have already returned home. So I no longer have entry and exit dates. Can I still use the remaining travel days abroad? Arie de B.

Hallo ZusammenIch habe Pläne wieder eine Interrail Reise zu machen evt im Sept 2023 oder 2024 und ich habe eine Route gesehen :Luzern-Venedig-Ljubljana-Zagreb-Bratislava-PragIch habe dann die folgende Verbindung gesehen ab 8.30 Ljubljana mit dem Euronight nach Zagreb ich wollte schauen ob man eine Sitzplatz reservierung machen kann es ist leider nicht möglich. Würde uns der Kontrolleur trotzdem mitnehmen und wir sitzen dann bsp. im Zug Gang oder ist es nicht möglich?  Würde mich über eine Rückmeldung freuen Freundliche Grüsse Rebublic

Hi. From Canada; I will be traveling in Europe on a Eurail pass. I have purchased a Eurail pass and I have downloaded the Eurail App. I was hoping to rely on occasional wifi access in Europe - I expect to have Wifi access every evening, at hotels. I do not want to pay for a mobile data package. Do I need mobile data access to board a train? Or can I simply book my ticket the day before (on my Eurail Mobile App) and then show it at the train station (without needing to use mobile data at the station)?David

Needing to travel between Switzerland and Amsterdam during the line closure. Usually it seems quite an easy route; either direct from basel or a change in frankfurt from bern. However, looking on the DB website the amount of transfers, which includes busses, seems like a nightmare. The other option is night train, which I do not want to pay for.What route could be recommended to avoid 2+ transfers this summer? I'm open to travelling slightly out of the way to avoid this but as long as the journey could be completely within a day I could try it. Ideally I do not want to uses buses or change train more than once.

Travelling Milan to Tirano to board Bernina - I understand buses run from Colico to Tirano (due to maintenance works).Does that mean I can use Eurail pass on the bus as well and I do not have to purchase tickets for the bus? Do buses allow luggage? We have 2 big suitcases which we have to carry all the way to Lucerne :)

What counts as a day of 'travel in your own country'?I'm planning to use my Interrail mobile pass (15 days in 2 months)(1) to travel from Stuttgart in Germany (where we live) to England (Stuttgart-Strasbourg-Paris-London) together with my 10 year old son,leave my son there for a few weeks with his mum(2) come back to Germany for work (I'll buy an additional ticket from the German border to Stuttgart)(3) return to England to meet my son (I'll buy an additional ticket from Stuttgart to the German border)travel around England with my son using the Interrail pass(4)before my son and myself return to Germany, again using the Interrail pass.(1) & (4), the journeys from Germany to England and back using the Interrail pass seem straightforward.(2) my coming back to Germany alone, with my own ticket for the German travel in between seems straightforward too,because (as I understand it) I can use the Interrail pass to travel from London to Paris to Strasbourg (in France),and then just buy a

Hi, my partner and I are interrailing for the first time next week through Italy and Switzerland. We chose interrail rather than advance tickets because we wanted to have some flexibility with the timing of our train journeys (we’ve booked our  accommodation but wanted to be able to spend a bit more time in one city and catch a later train if we wanted to). However, we’re now a bit confused with the seat reservation system, particularly in Italy! Is it still possible to turn up and book onto the next train or do should we make seat reservations now? Could someone explain the exclusions in this offer, if we can't travel through France and Germany it doesn't seem that useful especially in the UK. Please tell me I've got this wrong. Not valid for Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Germany (both Eurail & Interrail). Not valid for Interrail Switzerland, Eurail Scandinavia, Eurail France (1, 2, 7 days).

I have noticed a new type of remark in the interrail planner (both app and web) for trains crossing the border to France, saying “Allow extra time for bording”. And if I click it, it says “Allow 20 minutes for border and bag checks”. For security measures, boarding is possible until 5 minutes before departure, so arrive at the station early.”What has changed?I know that France has introduced passport-check during the Olympics, but this message comes for all scheduled trips (until December) in and out of France (in both directions).I am fine with a passport-check, but what do they mean by “bag check”? Is it X-ray machines like at the airport? I am bringing a backpack with camping equipment (for hiking in the Pyrenees), that may or may not look suspicious in an X-ray machine.I can’t find anything about any extra border check anywhere else than the interrail planner. If I look at SNCFs planner, is says that I can board the train up to 2 minutes before departure - just like normal.Maybe th

I want to travel from austria to germany today, but it isn't possible since 2 weeks to make a reservation.So my plan is to cross the border without any reservation. Do you think that will work?

I am travelling tomorrow morning in Italy . It is now 23.00hrs on Wed 29 March. I cannot add tomorrow’s journey to My Pass. It just does not appear. I have checked the train timetable , cleared the cache , re-installed the app but my journey is not showing . The Pass has been working great for the last 7 days. This is the first time I cannot add a journey. Does anybody have any ideas ? Thanks . M

(there are all reservations possible. About Interrail page not all reservations in france are possible) Are we allowed to travel from Karlsruhe to Kiel?
