Hi all, I am considering taking the early 6AM train from Vienna to Venice on 20 July 2024 (as a consequence of the Nightjet being cancelled); however, it also seems that RJ 131 is experiencing disruptions.  I would like to ask whether anybody has insight into what such a route would look like and how long it would take?I am happy to take a bus (seeing as the Villach to Carnia bus is 1hrs only on Google maps) but my main concern is scenery (scenic trains in Australia are much more expensive than Europe!!) and whether the train will get to Venice around 2, otherwise I’d rather take a plane for time saving considerations.Thank you very much in advance for your assistance.

Hi, I intend to travel from London to Brussels next month (then onto Austria and Switzerland). I have two passports, British and EU. Which one should I use for filling out the API for Eurostar?I haven't booked my return yet, but when I do, which one should I use then?Many thanks in advance. 

I already have a ticket for July 29 from Krakow Glowny to Wroclaw Glowny (departure: 18:47, arrival: 21:37). I searched for this connection again today and saw that the departure and arrival times have changed by a few minutes. Do I have to get a new ticket because of this?

Hi, I’ve got a mobile 10 day in 2 month pass which must be activated by June 1st. I am unsure about the relationship between the activation date and the first travel date. I have looked at similar questions asked in this group but remain unclear.If I activated today does that then allocate a travel day to the day I activate or can I name a first travel day on another day in the future? When does the 2 month start? From the activation date or the date of the first travel day?If it has to be activated by June 1st does that included June 1st itself or does it mean before June 1st (The earliest I can travel is June 1st so depending on the answers to the other questions, if activation day counts as a travel day I would have to activate and travel on June 1st in order to not lose a travel day)Sorry for the confusion & thanks for any help.

Hi all.  I've been winging my trip - so far I've done Paris-The Hague-Amsterdam-Berlin-Munich-Vienna-Venice-Florence-Rome-Zagreb (flight). I'm currently in Zagreb and I'm looking to start making my way back to London via train but I'm a bit stuck for ideas on how to do this. All of the night and direct trains are booked up/have no seat reservations available according to OBB. I'm looking at leaving Zagreb tomorrow. Ideally I'd like to not repeat anywhere, but I'd happily do Vienna again maybe. Cheaper countries are preferred but I'm flexible. Oh and I have more than enough days left on my interrail pass. I bought too many days in the end.  Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. :) 

Hello I really need your help, :) I want to travel from Stockholm to Gällivare in August with nighttrain and interrail. I did this last year, but this year the booking system is very strange. On sj.se the trains are not avaible yet. On sj.se even the trains for for June are not avaible yet. When will they put the trains on their website?  On vy.se they are avaible. But is it possible to buy the seat reservation for interrail on vy.se? When I want to buy a seat and I type my Interrail Pass Number as discount it wont get cheaper than normal price. If it is not possible to only buy the reservation for seat for interrail - is it possible on other websites?On vy.se I saw that the train connection is 14hours in July and 17hours in August, why? Will there be a 14hours one in August released soon?Thank you very much for your helpPaul

Hi,I am looking to buy an Eurail mobile pass and I understand that the pass will be loaded to the phone and cannot be transferred. So what happens if my phone stops working and I have to get the pass into a different phone ?. I see there is no phone number to contact so do I do that?ThanksAnanda

Hallo, ich war eben am Schalter der DB und wollte mir Die Reservierungen für Spanien buchen. Der Angestellte hat mir dann erklären wollen, dass dies mittlerweile nicht mehr möglich ist. Weiß da jemand genaueres? Bzw. Hat jemand in letzter Zeit vielleicht selber etwas am Schalter gebucht?  

I’m booking a holiday with my Interrail pass, starting and returning to the UK with Eurostar. I made the bookings and now downloading the tickets from the Eurostar website, but why are the tickets showing “outbound” in both cases (instead of “outbound” and “inbound”), and why am I having to enter all the passport information twice? This doesn’t feel right and I’m worried I’ve messed something up somewhere.

Hi there, I am traveling round Europe late this summer with 2 other friends (15-27 youths) and am wondering if I am missing something. I am trying to find a route/ tickets from Cologne to Brussels but it seems like there aren't many options, or it is very pricy! We have the Deutschlander pass so are also considering getting the included regional trains to aachen to save some money.  Is there a particularly scenic route between them, and if so is it much more than the ICE?  Any help or suggestions of where to look is greatly appreciated.

Good Morning! I am traveling to Switzerland with 2 friends this summer, and have purchased the Swiss Youth Pass. We will be visiting Zurich each day, but one of the routes from our location includes going via Basel, and taking the TGV, would this be covered. Additionally at the end of our time in Zurich, we will be heading to Friedrichafen, from Bad Sackingen. We will have the 49 euro deutchlander ticket, so will this cover us for the journeys, as we are taking DB services? Many Thanks

"Hi everyone, We have Interrail Global Passes and are currently in Vienna, having flown here from Germany. Our home country is Germany, and we haven't activated our passes yet. We plan to take a night train from Vienna to Zurich, which passes through Germany. Interrail Global Passes usually offer 2 travel days for inbound and outbound journeys in the home country. Will we be able to use our passes to travel back to Germany from zurich on this route? Thanks for your help!"  

Hello, I booked a journey with the Öbb nightjet using my interrail ticket for discount. Does this count as a travelday? I did not make the reservation via the interrail site.  I would love some help! Thank you so much

At the time of writing I should be on the trains.1st disastrous Interrail experience. 1) yes there were one/several train cancellations on my first trip2) yes, the application doesn't help novice users with route changes3) Yes, the explanations and conditions for a “refit” are very laborious in the single-language descriptions.OBB have also just informed me that the reserved seats (ZUrich-Innsbruck-Wien) have been cancelled.30% loss on hotel reservation (unless I find an arrangement with them) (Ensana Sarvar) Yes, using public transport isn't always great, but there are also traffic jams on the road. I'd rather be annoyed on the road...In short, I've left our car behind...to go to Hungary for dental treatment...I'm hesitating to take the car instead of the train.The good news: I was able to interrupt my journey 15 min from my home and turn back, having to pay for a “small ticket” purchased from SBB/CFF.How do I claim? Hello! I’m trying to plan the final part of my trip this summer. I will be in Bohinj, Slovenia and must get to lake Garda, Italy. I’m going on Saturday July 6th. I have looked on multiple routes, all of which include at least 3-4 stops over 8-9 hours. I’m flexible with train/bus. Travelling day or night. I would like to avoid going back to Ljubljana but if that is the simplest way I’m open! So looking for shortest travelling route with as few stops as possible.  thank you!
