Hello all we are planning to take the 5 days in a Month France rail pass and plan to do ravel from Paris to Strasbourg on the TGV with a reservation However on the travel form Strasbourg to Chamonix ( both destinations being in France ) we hav to change trains in Geneva , visp and martigany  I wanted to know if my France rail pass will be valid on this journey ?

I am a bit confuse on the passes. I will start off from Milan to Varenna at Lake Como then take Berninia Express from Tirano to Zurich. Thereafter from Zurich I will travel to Lucerne and Interlaken then to Milan. Rest overnight in Milan and continue to Rome and Venice then back to Milan before departing back to Singapore. All in 17 days. I intend to buy swiss pass (Covering Switzerland for 8 days) and should I buy eurail global pass or what pass should i get since I will be travelling in many trains. 

Hi. I am starting my Europe travels on 23rd of June 2024. I know there are discounted passes for sale at the moment and I’ve read they’re valid for 11 months after purchase. However, when I scroll down to the bottom it says, ‘For trips starting before June 1’ How do I purchase a pass valid for my dates? Thanks!

Hello,I’m planning a trip to Germany and i’m wondering if i can use a global pass day to get back to Toulouse in France from Berlin ? I mean, i’m pretty sure i can use it for Berlin to Paris but can I use it for Paris to Toulouse too the same day ?Thanks for your help !Best regards :) 

Hi everyone:I’m researching, learning about Eurail pass for France (within France only trains) for May 2024 trip with senior parents. I will have put all 3 passes on my iPhone as we will be travelling together the whole time.  (I have not bought the Eurail pass yet.)I’ve read the Guide  Sorry if it’s a silly question but I didn’t see anything on how to save/where to save a seat reservation (understood best to buy from this site https://travel.b-europe.com/Eurail-GE/en/booking-tgv#TravelWish )Can I ask once a seat reservation is bought, do I store/save the QR code or whatever the format to my iPhone wallet? Once I have bought the pass then I show the pass, the “trips” for that day and the seat reservation (QR code in PDF somewhere on my phone)? Is that the idea?Thank you in advance.

We will be 3 days in Prague, Berlin, and Budapest and 2 days in Vienna. I haven’t purchased our Eurail passes yet - are there any day trips from any of these cities that are really worthwhile and might justify adding days to our Eurail passes?I look forward to your comments.

Is it necessary to obtain Berlin S-Bahn ABC tickets, or will my activated Eurail Pass suffice? Are there limits on which, if any, S-Bahn Berlin tourist tickets can be obtained this way?We are going to Prague, Berlin, Budapest, Vienna, and Frankfurt (in that order) to visit the Christmas markets and see some of “old Europe” in the winter. I’m likely to buy the first-class Eurail Global Pass Promo Senior 10 days within 2 months (2 x Senior for USD $ 772) (I’ll pay in Euros we exchanged last year.) I know that public transportation in Prague will be free (since we are over 65.) Berlin is different: are the tourist passes through S-Bahn Berlin worth it? Will our Eurail Passes provide any discount? Hi there,I am a bit confused about using Eurail to travel on Eurostar from London to Paris on the 29th of December this year. I know this time is very busy, and the ticket prices on Eurostar are increasing significantly now. When I used Eurail to book a reservation, it always said, “Prices unavailable. No price results were found. Pass holder reservations may be sold out...”. I tried to use B-europe.com to make a reservation, but it’s only available for Eurail pass 1st class (it says that I’m using the 2nd class pass 😥).Is it fine for me to purchase the 1st class anyway, even though I’m using the 2nd pass?I know there is another option to transfer the Eurail 2nd pass to a 1st pass, but I have already made some reservations with my current 2nd pass, and I had to pay for these reservations. If I transfer to the 1st pass, it means I will lose them.Thanks for taking the time to read my question. I’m an overseas visitor and have never used this system before. im from australia and will be travelling europe next march/april and i was just a bit confused on the passes. do i need a pass? where will my luggage be stored and do i have access to it? once i book a train trip can i change it?

I want to take advantage of the promo and buy my pass. The promo says to activate before June 1, but I travel starting May 2 and ending June 24. It's my first time buying the pass and I'm a little confused. I understand that I can activate the pass without a problem since I start in May, but my question is if I do not incur some fault since I will also be traveling almost the entire month of June. There is a Black Friday Sale on Eurail Passes. We want to buy two for two seniors (we are both 74).We can’t see where to do this as the discount says for ages up to 59.We want the two month pass with 15 stops.Help!

Im planning on going from budapest to vienna using the eurail global pass. I was told it was better to book directly from the train website.So i went to the OBB page. Here with the pass i have the ticket for free but can also make seat reservations for free on first class.My question is do i need a first class pass to make this reservation or i can still do it with the second class pass.Thanks.

I was wondering if once active, I could postpone my travel to any date or if there are deadlines to respect. Hallo! Ich starte meine Reise bereits aus dem Ausland und fahre in mein Heimatland und bleibe dort auch eine Nacht. Für diese Reise würde ich jedoch ungern bereits meinen “Inbound” nutzen. Kann ich in der App meine Reise bis an die Grenze planen (der geplante Zug hält dort auch) und ab der Grenze dann ein gewöhnliches Ticket für mein Heimatland kaufen?Am nächsten Tag fahre ich dann wieder ins Ausland und einige Tage später wieder zurück ins Heimatland, wobei ich bei diesen zwei Fahrten dann meinen “In- und Outbond” nutzen wollen würde.

Hello! Planning to book travel direct from Budapest to Zagreb on the IC204 route (train/bus 6.5 hr) in Jan 2024 but have noticed that this service isn't listed during that month at all. Does anyone know if there are upcoming changes to the route, as I can see this is available to book for the next few weeks, or whether it is too early and yet to be available for seat reservations?Thanks :)

Hi! So, we will be traveling to Zagreb from Bonn  on Friday and the next monday we well be returning and we have left 3 day passes. My partner  has a printed global pass that she bought in Cologne and I have the mobile global pass. My doubts are regarding the use of the 3 days left. So: Friday: Bonn-stuttgart on an ICE train and then Stuttgart -Zagreb on a sleep train that we already have a reservation for. First doubt: according to what I understand this will only take one day travel as we will be boarding the train on Stuttgart on Friday, the same day we parted from Bonn. Am i correct?On monday we will take the sleeper train from Zagreb to Stuttgart so we will be arriving on Tuesday and then we will take an ICE train to Bonn. Second doubt: this will take our two final days of traveling as there will be the trip from Zagreb and the next day the trip to Bonn.
