Hello fellow travellers,Can I use the France Germany pass for a journey from France to Germany with a transfer in Switzerland? On Rail Planner it looks like I can, I have the ticket for the whole journey but on the website it says it's not included.Thanks!

Good afternoon. I have bought a pass. But I have many doubts.1. Can I only travel with a reserved seat? What happens if I don't book on the train on which I already have a ticket?2. How is the reservation made effective?3. Are there options to use 1 day pass for each final destination? Because from Madrid to Dortmund it only offers me to travel in 2 days.Thanks for the help.   

Anyone knows why theres no Estonian`s or latvia`s train stations for option in the app? how can i select one train of there

My husband and I are planning on travelling across Europe for 1 month (Dec - Jan). What pass do you recommend for the following itinerary?Should we buy a EURAIL pass for the international trains and a local train pass OR day trip tickets to travel within cities?6 days Zurich (Switzerland) Zurich to Zermatt (day trip return) 3 days in Prague (Czech Republic) Prague (Czech Republic) to Krakow (Poland) - International  3 days in Krakow (Poland) Krakow to Auschwitz (day trip return)  Krakow (Poland) to Vienna (Austria) - International  4 days in Vienna (Austria) Vienna to Hallstatt (overnight and then return trip) Vienna (Austria) to Budapest (Hungary) - International  4 days Budapest (Hungary) 4 days Ljubljana (Slovenia)

Sometimes I see that there are no reservations to Lille but some available to Brussels. If the train is stopping at Lille there seems no reason not to book the reservation to Brussels and leave at Lille. Obviously only if the train is scheduled to stop at Lille, hence the title.

My husband and I have purchased the 4 day pass (1st class). We will be travelling during winter (late Dec - early Jan). If the train says ‘seat reservation not required’, can we just use our pass to sit within the 1st or 2nd class carriage?  If the train says ‘seat reservation recommendation’, can we not reserve the seat and use our pass to sit within the 1st or 2nd class carriage? Is the primary benefit of buying a 1st class pass so that you get access to sit in 1st or 2nd class carriages, and of course if a seat is available in 1st class you can the added benefits such as extra space and comfortable seating?  How does priority check-in work with the 1st class pass?    

Hello my husband and me are planning to take the Eurail pass , but we are planning to go with the flow ( we do not have an iterinery as such )  , is there a chance we could get on to the the Tgv with eurail without any reservation , is it considered as an offence , we plan to travel in first week of December and being low season I don’t think the trains would be full 

Im looking to book a trip form vienna to venice on a sleeper train th 16th of january. The rail planner app has the time of the train but you cant make a reservation. It says that you can also go to the obb website. In the website the prices are not available. From what i have seen the prices should be up 180 days in advance. Does anyone know how when will they be available?Thanks.

Hallo,Alld nodige treinreserveringen heb ik gemaakt van onze interrailreis naar Milaan en vervolgens door Italie. Overmorgen gaat de eerste dag in. Hoe zet ik de reisgegevens op de pas? De app vindt niet alle verbindingen. Moeten alle reisgrgevens kloppen per dag met de tijden erbij?Tussen Basel bbf en Milaan weten we namelijk nog niet welke verbinding we nemen. Volgens de community hoefde je dir verbinding niet te borken. We weten ook niet hoe laat we de trein vanuit Lugano nemfn. Moet ik dat toch noteren in de reisgrgevens op de digitake pas? Hi everyone,Looks like most of the night train timetables/tickets are out now and available for sale in ÖBB/Nightjet website. I’m looking to buy a night train ride from Stuttgart to Venice in mid- December (only a few weeks away eek!!). Currently it only has timetable but no tickets are available.Does this mean we need to wait a little longer until these are released? If so does anyone know when this is likely to be available from? Or does this mean something else (e.g. not running anymore, or tickets sold out)? Many thanks all for your help! really appreciated.

does anyone know how I can book a ticket for my two dogs? We start in germany and go through france to spain. One dog is very small, the other is a bit taller. Do I have to buy the tickets for them directly in the company with which I travel? 

Is there any way around the schengen visa requirement of reserving a hotel iternary. I wanted to use a eurail as the focus and deciding where to put your head on a whim. Eurail trains do offer sleepovers. One can find short term accommodation with ease. If there no way around this. Will I have to come up with a 30 nightime hostel/hotel revesations?

My son and his best friend (22 and 23) are trying to get from Prague to Basel or Bern on Nov 24, 25, or 26 and eventually to Thun. They have eurail passes. The overnight train looked possible, but when you search Prague to Bern, there’s an issue with the last leg. When I search Prague to Basel, I don’t see the first leg of the prior trip and can’t book it. When I pick other stops, there’s only a paper ticket option, and they’re currently in Lisbon and bouncing around so mailing is not an option. Can they go in person to any train station and pick up a paper ticket?  I’ve searched other trains and there’s one that’s insane—$1300 per ticket. The flight is $500 plus, and I was looking for that over night sleeper experience. 

Hi,I am planning to visit Switzerland on mid December. But I am confused about this interrail pass. If I buy a pass for 3 night for 133 euro, then do I need to pay anything extra to use any train in Switzerland? do I have to book or pay to sbb for transport?

I like to make a reservation on the TGV train Brussel midi to Lyon Part Dieu. I just cant figure out on which platform i can do this? On b-europe i cant find the connection just under seat reservations and on the  site of France is of course only the French cities you can find. Can someone tell me where i actually can make the seat reservation for this train?kinds regards,Tania

Dear Community members, We have one travel day left in Eurail pass and last day of our trip - 14th of November - we are planning we spend in Disneyland. I am looking on the option to spend our last travel day for travelling from Marne la Valle to Airport Charles de Gaulle but seat reservation is quite expensive, it is showing to me around 80euros for 4 of us. Our flight is scheduled for 11AM. Is seat reservation is really required if the travel time is only 10 minutes? Can we enter the train with Eurail ticket without seat reservation?

I want to book two reservations on the 10:52 train from Stuttgart to Paris on Wednesday December 27 but the response on the Interrail Reservations site is always the same - "Bad RequestYour browser sent a request that this server could not understand.Size of a request header field exceeds server limit." Please can you help - how can I make this reservation? We both have Interrail passes. I have tried via the DB site - but they will only book trains within Germany not into France. The Belgium site will only do Eurostar trains. The French SNCF site doesn’t accept Interrail passes.   

My connection is Ok, can search and add journey on app. However, when add a pass, it shows message “it looks like you’re offline”. My phone phone's calendar settings is Gregorian, timezone automatic and the 24-hour time display is switched off.Help me! I am in travel now.

Good Morning,We are a family of 4 living in London.  We using London as our hub as I need to back in the city for work during the week. So we doing trips Friday through Sunday to different Countries.  Are we able to use a Monthly Pass and travel from London to multiple cities. Of course we’ll pick a pass which allows us to access the countries we want to go to. Example would be;Week 1 London to Paris back to LondonWeek 2 London to Brussels  back to LondonWeek 3 London to Amsterdam back to London

Total noobie question: I have mapped out our trip in Spain.  We will have four travel days in the month.  When I price each leg, a first class ticket is about $16USD, so $32USD for my husband and I.  Four trips would cost $128USD.  A four day Eurail pass for seniors costs more than $700USD.  What am I missing?  Are there benefits to the Eurail pass that I am not taking into consideration?  Or are Eurail passes not cost effective for short intercity trips (Barcelona → Valencia, Valencia→Madrid, Madrid →Cordoba, Cordoba-→Granada)Thanks for any insight!

The map on the Eurail site shows no connection between Madrid and Cordoba.  When I use the Plan your Journey section of the Eurail site, Cordoba is not selectable as a destination.  But I am able to get a price for Madrid → Cordoba on the Eurail site.   Can someone help me explain how this works? Thanks,Kathryn

I would like to find out if there might be a mistake on their system which has not added me. hello! i have a question about my pass. i have a global pass for 7 travel days in a month.i planned to start the trip on the 1 january 2024 and i already added all the trains i have to take to “my travel”; i was just wondering when i have to add a travel document to actually activate the pass because i don’t know if it actually have some kind of  “expire date” or else.please help me :)

Has any experienced traveling from Brussels to Basel on the DB service? There group save options are confusing and some parts say we can book the school discount others say under 15 years travel for free.
