Hi thereThis is our first time interrailing - my friend and I are in our 60’s and finding it long winded and confusing so I am turning to this community for enlightenment and hopefully guidance! I have booked 2 seats on 14.29 St Pancras Eurostar 25th September 2023. We wanted the earlier train but at the time of booking earlier was not available. I believe earlier is now available but on the Eurorail website where my booking is to be found it says there is no option to change. Is that correct? I find that quite surprising.  ALSO ! Having found the night train we wanted Wednesday 27th September Bruges to Vienna 1808hr - 0915hr I go to book it on the Eurrail and no seats are available. Is there any other way to book an overnight couchette please? Many thanks in advanceSiobhan 

Hi,I was able to win the Freundschaftspass and I'm a bit confused. The pass allows me to travel 7 days within a month and I'm planning to travel next month.When do I activate the pass? on the day of travel?How can I use the trains with the pass?I need to take a TGV and made a seat reservation in advance but haven't activated the pass, is that correct? Thank you!

My son is 20yr old with autism spectrum disorder. Is any special ticket for the passenger? I am going to travel with him, my wife and daughter. Thanks

Hello Goodday.I just bought 4 tickets for my Eurail for 15 days.May I know ,how do I add all the 4 names together and add their details inside the rail planner app, which I’ve already downloaded. I’ve created mine and add my first journey but have not activate yet . As my travel date will be in late November. Please advice . Thank you . 

Hi Community,Fearing the worst as time is running out, this is my problem. I have 2 days left on my Eurail-pass. As I returned ast Saturday I decide to use them for a trip to Dresden tomorrow, returning Tuesday. I have added the trips and activated them (and booked a hotel in Dresden). I also booked a separate ticket for the last part back from Germany to the Netherlands, as it isn't covered by the Eurail-pass. Now, at the final moment, as I checked the time the train leaves tomorrowmorning on my app, the Eurail app suddenly does not open anymore. It shows the opening screen and then closes after a second. I am stuck and have no proof that I have a valid Eurail-pass and my trips booked.Does anyone have a fix/answer.I sent a question to the Eurail-team just before this question.

We have made seat reservations on the TGV Lyria Basel-Paris. Its a double decker train but we’ve been allocated lower deck seats -there was no choice on the Interrail seat reservation service.Is it possible to change the seat reservation numbers to get an upper deck seat?

Hello i am currently travelling on eurail with my family. I travelled from bratislava to Prague on 29th sep at 22.06, EN 476, carriage no 363, cabin 5 , seats 53 54 55. We found our cash 3800€ lost during journey. We have strong suspicion on conductor of cabin.he visited our cabin multiple times to supply free water bottles , cold water bottles , wipes, wake up service offer n general chat which we found unusual n in contrast to our previous night journeys on eurail. During our 10hr journey we locked our cabin n slept comfortably. He had key access to our cabin. Upon disembarking from train we found our cash 3800€ lost.We are in middle of travel across Europe...stranded family of 5 with young kids. We have reached out to bratisalva railway authorities, prague railway authorities and eurail customer service...so far no help or solution  has been offered ....what step should we take next to get out of this distressing situation? Kindly help. 

Hi there, We have Eurail Global passes (1st class) and want to book from Nice Ville to Amsterdam Centraal via Paris on 10th Oct 2023.So far I can find the train journey for this date but cannot make any reservations!I started by looking on the RailEurope app and found relevant trains for the morning time but cannot book any of the journeys at all :( Idealy we would go Nice to Paris, then have an hour or so to change trains, then from Paris to Amsterdam. We considered an overnight train but it doesn’t appear to be an option. I have looked on RailEurope app, OBB, Bahn.de, the trainline and SNCF. Please see some of my searches and screenshots. Thetrainline had an option for the first leg to continue to payment but obviously we want to use the Eurail passes.Any suggestions on how we can get back from Nice to Amsterdam on the 10th or 11th October will be super appreciated. We have to fly back to New Zealand the next day eeep.Thank you.

Next week there is a strike by british rail, there are no trains,i want to travel from  London to Bristol  and i wonder if i can get on a bus with my interrail card

 Hello, it is the first time that I will go to Europe and I am in real trouble, since I ventured to make my own route without knowing absolutely anything and paying attention to the places of interest of my daughter who is the one who wants to go for her birthday. Serious mistake! The thing is that I can't find dates for 2024 on any train line, apparently they are not available yet, I don't know when they will be available.  That has meant that I have no prices, dates or schedules and if I don't know which trains to take, even less so without the data 🤷 😞 I also don't know if it's convenient for me to buy the Pass or not, and even less so if I don't fully understand the difference between the Global Pass and a Country Pass! Because it says in one part that a country's pass is valid per region, I mean, then Germany's, what region is it? Or how would it serve me? Unlike the other  I have only been able to buy train tickets from Italy, (I don't know why if they are from February 2024) b

Can I just board the train with nothing more than my interrail pass?

If I take a 3 day pass, do I get 3 days + the 2 days for going in and out of my home country?

So, the problem i have is that i live in france, literally 4 km away from the German border, and I wanted to go to Spain. The thing is that i’ll probably need multiple trains to reach the border.Not only that but the only way to get to the part of spain i want to go, is reaching the station on the french border side, and then, take a railway that is not part of the interrail. Would that be possible?

I know the pass covers one inbound and one outbound trip from the home country but does the pass cover travel from any train station in one’s home country? In other words, if I want to travel from my home town (outside London) to Paris, would it cover the part from my home town to London on the same day that I would get a connecting train from London to Paris? Thanks

Message says “Not available from Eurail.comThis seat reservation can’t be booked on our website. Check 'More information' for other ways to book.”I want to Barcelona Santa and they were no help in booking the ticket. Who should I go to a Sants or what should I do? 

Hi everyone, I am currently trying to book a train from London to Barcelona. When I view the tickets without logging into my account, it looks like there are seats available. However, when I log in, I get the following message: “Prices unavailableNo price results were found. Pass holder reservations may be sold out for this connection, but there are other ways to check for available seats—more info below our timetable. “ Are tickets truly sold out? Is there any way I can purchase online? 

Hi! I'm travelling from Utrecht Centraal to Budapest in november and for my final train, from Vienna to Budapest, the website says I can't book a seat reservation. It says the prices are unavailable. Does anyone knows how this works? 1) Is it full? 2) Can I not book it in advance but is there still a chance I can take the train? 3) If I book a seat reservation on the site on this train company (https://www.cd.cz/en/), can I use that reservation to travel with my Interrail pass? On the website I have the option to book a ‘reservation only’, but will that allow me to hop on the train with my pass (and thus not pay the ticket)? Also, if I try to make this reservation the site says the train is temporarily unavailable.In at least one of the trains that are part of my journey (also if I switch to a different date) I have this problem.Also I was wondering in general if a certain train says ‘reservation not required’ but you can optionally book it, how this works. Is there then a possibility

Hello all, New world traveler here.  I just purchased 2 (5 days in a month) passes for a trip my wife and I will take the first week of December. A couple questions: Would it be best to make all the reservations and travel planning details while i have both passes in my possession (my Eurail account)? How do i transfer the wife’s pass, and associated reservations, to her account?Thanks in advance!
