Before, when with PAPER card, for overnight train that depart after 19.01 (or 20.01?) you can select OR day of departure, OR day of arrival. i.e. if I leave evening, AFTER  19.01 at 15 July and arrive on 16 july 6.15 morning I have the right to select any 15 OR 16 as a travel date.  What’s happened with this rules now?  IS it exist FOR PAPER card or was canceled? I prefer somebody from interrail to answer me EXACTLY and not a traveler.

I added a travel day in error for today 20 Jul, but my trip is not until Tuesday 26 Jul. Please help! This is my second last travel day 😢 and I really really need it! 

Hi, is it required to be online to be able to show the Global Pass in the App to the conductor? Is there WiFi in trains in Germany, Switzerland and Italy? And can we charge our phones in these trains?

El último día, para volver a Madrid tengo que tomar varios trenes en Francia que me llevan a Girona y de ahí a Madrid. El problema es que según he leído, no se puede tomar más que un tren a/en tu país y no sé si puedo hacer esa ruta, ya que no hay ningún tren directo Paris- Madrid.Se podría hacer? O hay alguna alternativa?

Hi,I’m using a global pass (mobile).Previously, I’ve booked seat reservations with Eurail but this time did it directly from www.bahn.de.I received a copy of the seat reservations in my email and downloaded the DB app and the seat reservations are there but there is no QR code.I was just wondering whether I need a QR code and if I have done something wrong.Thanks

I need to catch the INT 480 train from Rijeka to Budapest tomorrow, the intarrail application says the seat reservation is mandatory, the interrail website won’t let me get a seat reservation, I contacted customer support and they redirected me to the Hungarian railway website, but I could not book a seat reservation alone, it only let me buy ticket+Seat reservation (even if I checked the box that said I already have a ticket/pass). From the Hungarian website it seems a though a reservation is not mandatory, as when you buy a ticket it asks weather or not you want to reserve a seat, but the interrail application says it is. So which is it ? How can I get a seat reservation ?PS: I know this is last minute, I’ve been trying to solve this issue for a while but customer service is slow and the websites unclear.

Hi - this may be a stupid question but I need all the help I can get with booking night trains for italy.I have found the trains I want on both italiarail and trentitalia websites but neither of these sites have an obvious option for applying the interrail pass to the booking. But when I try the interrail/eurrail reservation system it does not find any of the trains even though both other sites clearly have booking available.This is specifically for booking a night train/sleeper cabin.

Hi Everyone, I just booked a reservation from Zurich to Berlin for 14/8. The money has come out and the screen seemed to just blink off before I could take note of anything. Meanwhile I haven't received a confirmation email with the details. So, I decided to create an account and make an enquiry. I've had 2 other emails about the account and the enquiry but not the reservations. Is this unusual? Will they send it closer to the time? All other reservations seemed to be pretty automatic (French and English). Not sure if I should just buy another reservation.  ThanksTam

Hello, we booked multiple tickets for our group, and want to cancel 1 person's tickets. They have all been booked through the interrail website and cost 10 or 13 Euro's each. Is this possible? I tried on the Italian Railway website, but it doesn't allow to select any of the tickets. 

If yes, which ones?

I’m trying to reserve the train that departs 1 week from now online. It says the reservation is available but when I put in my French hostel address it says:“Your order contains one or more paper tickets, based on our calculations your order will not arrive on time. Please send your reservations to another address, such as your hostel in Europe or try booking at a European train station.”How can this be? Is there no way around this? I tried calling SNCF last night and they said that there isn’t spots available but the Eurrail website says there are. I won’t be in Paris until the 26th and I fear the tickets might be sold out if I go to a station to book it then…Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you ❤️

Hey! So, unfortunately, 24th July is our last day and last travel day of our Interrail trip, our Passes are valid till this date. We’ve just recognised that we’ve bought earlier (like a month ago) our seat reservations on our very last train the Zürich - Budapest night train (14 € / person). This train departs on the 24th, but arrives next day, on 25th, consequently this, arrival date is not in the Pass validity. Yeah, we know, we should have thought about this way more before… But now the full fare tickets for this route are very, very expensive (100 € / person), which we frankly cannot afford. What should we do?? Are we in a trouble?? Such a bad situation…..

Hi Everyone, I am thinking of using Interrail with my child to travel from the UK to Spain.From what I understand, we cannot use Interrail within the UK, except on the Eurostar to get out of the country and back in. So we will be getting a family Railcard anyway to ease the cost of getting to London and I am wondering whether the Railcard can be used in conjunction with Interrail (eg for the Eurostar seat reservation or for the Interrail ticket….?) 

Hi! I am on my way home and by mistake used my outbound flicker on the app. My train leaves tommorw and I have to stay in Gothenburg for 1 day. How can I redo the mistake  

I’ve had a melt down of my emails; doesn’t look like I forwarded this one to my husband… and can’t find it anywhere on the site!  I do have the reference number, but not any details of carriage, seats and etc., for tomorrow… and with travelling, I have to rely on all of the above… not printouts! 

Dear fellow members,Due to a series of serious illnesses in our family we (3 adults: man, wife, son) are only now able to book our train journeys in Sweden, Norway and Denmark starting the 3rd week of August.Would it still be feasible to make reservations for a number of trips (Stockholm - Oslo, Oslo - Bergen, Bergen - Oslo, Oslo - Stockholm, Stockholm - Kopenhagen)  at such short notice? The purchase of our Interrail chard depends on the availability of these reservations and I don’t want to risk getting stranded with my Interrail Card. Where can one check whether reservations are still possible without already owning an Interrail Card? Who can give us an expert opinion on this matter?Thanks

My Ámsterdam London train just got cancelled. So I have several problems. For example, Eurail takes this first day trip as used. But that is another question I will try to solve later.  Now I booked a ticket for brussels a 6.28am without reservation required. Should I arrive at the station way earlier as to make sure I get in? Or just having the ticket in my app should be enough? Thanks for your help!!! 

Hello, I requested an exchange of 2 interrail passes (photos sent by email on May 5, 2021) and sent my passes by post. How do I get the new PASS please? I want to use them between August 27 and September 11, 2022. I've been emailing about this for a while and never got a response. I have been looking into reserving my seats for my Italy trip through the ÖBB website as many have recommended. However, it says that the ticket must be printed at ÖBB self service machines or at ÖBB ticket offices in Austria. Is this required, or could I also just show my ticket on my phone? I’m just not sure how I’m supposed to print these if I’m not actually in Austria. 

We are trying to book seat reservations to travel from Ljubljana to Split on 4th-5th August, but on all the routes there’s at least one leg of the trip that says it requires reservation and it’s not available to buy. We’ve also looked on other websites such as OBB but same issue. It says it’s a regional train, can we still get it without reserving? Not sure whether to just wing it when we get there.

Seat reservation with non-interrail passenger on Irish trains: how to do it so we sit together?  

hi, i’m slightly confused about the outbound/inbound journey rules and would just like some reassurance. I have a one month continuous global pass (mobile). On my first day of travel i plan to get the train into London where i will then change stations and use the euro star to get to Brussels. Similarly, on my last day of travel i will be getting the eurostar back from Paris then getting the train home from London on the same day. So my question is will i be allowed to take two trains on my outbound/inbound journeys as long as they are on the same day?
