Hello,My OBB nightjet train was cancelled and I am now going from Paris to Vienna by bus. Can I get a refund for the bus which is more expensive?Also, since it was the first train of my trip which is today, can I cancel my first day of global pass? The app says that I can't because the train is today but there are no more trains. I could use this day in Poland to visit the Salt mine and Auschwitz.Thanks for your help.

Hi,I have bought the eurail mobile global pass for my Europe tour. I have downloaded the rail planner app. I am a bit confused about the process of creating a ticket. The way I understand it is that first you enter the pass in to the app and then connect a trip to the pass. A trip is made out of journeys which are individual train rides.So do you have to create all your journeys  before you connect the trip to the pass or you can keep on adding journeys later?I understand that the app will create a barcode with the journeys for the day. What happens if I want to change my plans and want to catch another train on the same day? Or if I miss a connection and have to catch a later train? Do I have to create a new ticket? How do I do that?I am travelling to Zermatt and am going to catch the Glazier express on the 27 th of August. I have reserved a seat but in the app how do I find the Glazier express train? Thank You very much, in advance,Ananda 

HelloDo you know if reservations on ICE between Zurich and Geneva are compulsory in August?I forgot to book the seat and there are no more seats available on the train I want to take.I'm not sure whether I should make a reservation on a train two hours later or try to find a seat on the one I want....Thank you for your advice

Hi - Can someone please help me with the best train option using global pass from paris to bruges. We are planning to start around 8 am and return same day by 8 pm. We are planning this late September , should I book/reserve the tickets now itself?

I have bout eurail global pass for 15 continuous days for 3 of us , now when i am adding the pass to the rail planner app it is asking to create individual trip for each of us in the family. Understand the pass number is different however not sure why rail app is asking to create unique trips for each person in the same family considering we are travelling together ?

Hi - I am sharing my travel plan want to know taking pass is worth it ?paris to bruge bruge to paris paris to zurich zurich to interlaken interlaken to zurich zurich to milan milan to florance florance to rome  we are family of 3 and will be travelling between late spetember 24 to first week of october 24, and want to use trains within each city as well to travel around Considering this just need some help to know if eurail pass for 15 days for 3 is worth it ?any help or info on this is much appreciated,

Hi! I'm looking to go on an interrail trip with friends this September, and we'd like to visit Sarajevo.However, it seems like getting there is very hard. Our current plan is taking a (Flix)bus from Zagreb to Sarajevo, and staying there for 2 days. Afterwards we would take the train from Sarajevo to Čapljina, cross the border into Metković and probably have to take a (Flix)bus again to Split.We were wondering if the 2 days in Sarajevo are worth the effort to get there, and the prices of the busses.If somebody has some tricks how to get there easily, or advice this would greatly help us!

I notice that in the past year Trenitalia have adopted an electronic validation procedure for e-tickets on regional trains.  Presumably this is the electronic version of getting a time stamp for one’s ticket before setting off.  I just wanted to check that there is nothing additional one needs to do with an interrail pass when taking regional trains in Italy.Peter

Hello, I reserved seats Vienna to Prague on the 4th of Sept. On the app. it showed only Breclav to Prague booked nothing about Vienna to Breclav. I also see that some reservations ask for a shipping address to send tickets. I just need email tickets as the delivery dates for the tickets is while I am travelling and would not know exactly where I would be. Thanks Rick 

We will be in Switzerland (Geneva mostly) by Aug.19 and travelling to Paris on Aug. 24-25, back in Geneva. Travelling to Italy Aug.31-Sept.2 and back to Geneva again. While in Geneva, maybe take 2-3 days random trip outside of Geneva (maybe Zurich, Bern, Interlakken, Luzern, Zermatt.. etc..)…I am thinking at least 7 days Eurail pass to cover Paris and Italy trips and use 2 days in Switzerland.Since I plan to use the Eurail (7 day pass) pass only on specific days, will that mean I have to "activate" the pass only on those days?Like for Aug.24-25 going to Paris, I need to activate the pass before my preferred train schedule? And on Aug. 31-Sept.2 while in across Italy, same - activate before taking the train going to Italy?And so on for the other travels days?Also, how would I know if a specific train needs seat reservations? Like in Italy, the FRECCIAROSSA, does it needs seat reservation? Or even in SBB Trains? Thank you. 

I’m desperately trying to get a train to paris for next week then down to bezziers i need to travel on wednsday 14th  there are littereally no trains avaialble.  it’s a total waste of money paying so much for my intreail ticket and i cant get where i want ?  any one help. i’ve tried reserving through https://www.b-europe.com/EN/Booking/Pass#Outbound and still nothing!!

 I am travelling on a global pass one month first class fare between England (origin) France and Spain. I am travelling home from south of Barcelona to Newcastle, UK. I am travelling with an assistance dog which make things a little more complicated. I travelled from Barcelona Sants to Latour du Carol on the 14.30 train on Friday 21st April. I had also booked onwards travel to Paris on the night train from Latour du Carol (Pyrénées) to Paris, Fri 21st April, dep. 18.49 arriving 22nd April 06.33. My Eurostar was booked for Paris-London on Sat 22nd at 09.13. At 18.00 SNCF cancelled the night train and I was stranded in Latour du Carol. The staff at Latour were inexperienced and unhelpful and told me to head back to the next town (Puigcerda, 4 mins away by train, but in Spain) and stay the night, getting the train in the morning back to Latour de Carol. This was a bad idea as I arrived in puigcerda and there were no trains in the morning and no one to help. I got a cab back to Latour (€40

HiI want to book a TGV seat from Paris to Nimes on raileurope.com (28. 8.)  I found information that it should show the seat number before payment, but I don't see any number on the checkout page. The only option is to select a seat aisle/window or upper/lower deck. Am I doing something wrong, or does raileurope no longer show the seat number?I have bought global pass but not activated yet. Thanks for answer. 

I am going from Tirano on the 20th of June 2023, plan to do Bernia express then join onto the glacier express to the Matterhorn in Zermatt.on the eurorail app I find I can not make it from Tirano to St. Moritaz before the 9am train departs along the glacier route.thus I changed around to Chur and then switching to glacier express but then it still wants to go through Zurich and around instead of going through Andermatt along the actual glacier route. please, how do I travel from Tirano to Zermatt on the same day, arriving by 7pm, via the actual bernia and glacier routes? thankyiu kindly for your assistance 

Hi my dear fellow Interrailers,I’m quite new to this fascinating Interrail business and haven’t yet taken a nighttrain with it. So here’s my question (I found similar questions, but none quite the same, or I looked in the wrong direction 😅):In october I want to go with the global pass from Hamburg to Innsbruck with the ÖBB night jet and then I want to go directly from Innsbruck to Bologna. How many travel days would that be? And is it a problem that the night train will leave Hamburg at about 8 pm in the evening and won’t cross the border before midnight?And then on my return I want to go from Florence to Innsbruck and from there with the ÖBB night jet back to Hamburg. Does that work? Somewhere I read that I can’t take a night train for an inbound journey, but that doesn’t seem to make any sense to me.Would be so glad if you could help me out 😊Nadia

I have two Eurail passes (5 days in a month) - one for my husband and one for myself. I had set them up with a Trip name and had used the Rail Planner app to select all of the train journeys we want to take. Some of the journeys required a Reservation and I had arranged all of those, one directly with Eurail and several with the rail companies. The UK Rail companies had helped me select connections and had allocated seats for no charge. HOWEVER, I have just changed to a new phone and while all of my apps came down successfully “from the cloud”, all of the detail on my Rail Planner has gone! Of course I have not lost my Eurrail passes and I have started the process of manually adding them to the Rail Planner app but when it comes to the point of the app asking me to “create a name for a Trip”, I can’t understand where my original Trip has gone with all of the train journeys saved on it. I may be able to add the train journeys but I now cannot remember exactly which changes in the journe

Hi I need clarification for travel days activation.I have read that you can modify a travel day only until the day before. Does it mean that, for example, if I want to leave on the 14th I must activate the travel day on the 13th? And If I haven't, I can't activate it on the 14th? Then about the train activation. Let's say that I must activate the day not after the 13th (in order to travel on the 14th), but can I activate the trains on the 14th? This in order to prevent myself from activating a train I won't take (if it's late or other reasons). Or if I want to decide on the same day I travel if I want to leave earlier or not, can I just activate the train on that day? Thanks

Hi everyone! Another problem today… me and my friends had previously booked in march the ICE 121 from Amsterdam Ceentral to Frankfurt Flughafen, then we had another 2 or 3 trains ( i don’t remember perfectly) to get to Strasbourg in France. Today we checked and without any notice, THE EURAIL TIMETABLE shows that our train stops at Kohl, and then we have 6 other trains to get on to eventually get to Strasbourg. This seemed crazy to us… so we checked other websites such as DSB and DB and in fact our ICE 121 stops at Frankfurt. after that we should take a train to Manheim, to eventually get to Strasburg with a TGV. THIS IS NOT SHOWED ON THE EURAIL TIMETABLE. WE ARE REALLY CONFUSED, we don’t even know what website we should trust, if we should book the train from Manheim to strasbourg or to get a flixbus from Frankfurt to Strasbourg. ANY HELP IS REALLY APPRECIATED THANK UUUUUU😭

Do you now is it possibile to "improve" my reservation for the Trenitalia INI774 from Roma Termini to Trieste Centrale? I have already booked a 5€ seat, but I would change it with a "Couchette" seat (43€).I have already tried on the “reservation overview” section, but it doesn’t work.

My situation:I have a 100% Trein Vrij subscription on my NS-business card and am wondering how and if it is possible to cross the border from Arnhem via Emmerich (grens/grenze) to Oberhausen and further with only my subscription and a one country pass germany using ICE international. Customer service NS international has no clue. 

Hi. I need your advice. My partner and I are travelling from Germany to France in August. Unfortunately, the German train is often late. That's why I'm worried that we won't be able to change trains from Paris Est to Montparnasse in Paris within an hour. I've reserved seats on the TGV to the South of France for 2 p.m. Now I'm also thinking about reserving the TGV at 4 p.m. in case we can't make the change. Is that possible? I could release the seats at 2 p.m. if we got the train. What do you think? Kind regards, Eva

I’ve seen that the Montparnasse Station in Frane has plattform gates. Do I scan my Interail Ticket on those or my Seat reservations? This might be a dumb question, but I’ve never taken the train in France before and I will have a tighter time frame to switch station so I just want to make sure I know what to do when I arrive.Thank you!

Hello all,I hope someone might help me since I’m lost in online research ;)I want to go to France alone with my two kids (12+8). I’m travelling on four days (Hamburg/Nantes; Nantes/Sainte-Foy-La-Grande; Sainte-Foy-La-Grande/Bordeaux; Bordeaux/Hamburg). So now I’m asking myself whether it’s better to get an Interrail-pass for four days or to book the tickets separately. With the compulsory seat reservation, it can get quite costly, but I have to take fast trains cause it’s already a long travel for my kids.Could anyone advise me how to proceed and make a decision? I already checked SNCF and Deutsche Bahn Websites and they are giving me different prices for the same travels 😅Kind regardsNadia
