Hi all,I am supposed to be travelling from Madrid to Lisbon tomorrow, the 27th of July.  I had intended taking the train from Madrid to Badajoz tomorrow morning at 8:50am, then Badajoz to Entroncamento and finally from there to Lisbon. However, I went to the train station in Barcelona today and was told the train from Madrid to Badajoz is fully booked.  Does anyone have any suggestions of any other routes I could take to get there. I have seen the other journeys available that day but there are much longer and mean I won’t arrive in Lisbon until late at night. Any help would be much appreciated!

I have made my initial reservation in 1st class with my two teens...I have the confirmation email.  It says I have to print it...how do you print tickets/seat reservations when travelling?Also...it doesn’t include seat numbers. How do I ensure my kids and I can sit together?

My question is... is there a way to get notifications of when Eurail Passes go on sale?

Hello!  Can you help me find the best way to get to Disneyland Paris from Pontault Combault, any time of day?  We have a EURAIL pass but need to know which trains and stations to use.  

a train from France from Nice to Cannes was cancelled after I activated it as a travel day. Unfortunately, I can't find any information anywhere about the fact that all trains were cancelled at that time due to an accident. Unfortunately, there is no other way for me to get my travel day back (I no longer have the bus ticket). That was on July 20, 2024

Hi, I am traveling trough Europe and in a week I am going to north macedonia from Sofia by bus. This bus was not included in the interrail pass. Now I am looking to go from north macedonia to Croatia or somewhere near, but online i cant find anything about trein on IC busses that i can use with the interrail pass. Does anyone know what route is the best?

Goog morning guys,I was thinking about planning my (very spontanous) summer vacation as an interrail tour because I like travelling by train. But now I have to admit I am a bit lost concerning all the seatresevations you have to prebook in Spain. I found a way to get to Barcelona via Switzerland but then it sees everything is just already booked out I guess. Is there any possibility I I did not take into account or does anybody have any tips for me on travelling in Spain ?I would love to hear about your experiences.Thank you in advance!

I am about to purchase my pass.I have two teens travelling with me.  Should I buy 2nd or 1st class?  What is the difference?We are going Venice-Milan-Lausanne-Paris-London.  We will also have some trips within England.  Are 1st class seats always available?  

Hi All - I have a niche question relating to travelling in my own country. We are based in Scotland and I know that for us the UK counts as home country or departure country, I also know that you use one of your travel days to leave but it may take me two so I want to check if the following is valid on a four travel day interrail pass… Travel Day 1- UK to UK  - Caledonian Sleeper from Glasgow to London - arriving 0715 on Travel Day 2Travel Day 2 - UK to Netherlands - Leg 1 - Eurostar London to Amsterdam/ Leg 2 Amsterdam to DeventerTravel Day 3 Return from Deventer to LondonTravel Day 3 (night train) - London to GlasgowTravel Day 4 used to cover rest of London to Glasgow Trip My concern is that I am on Travel Day 2 before I leave UK - however it is one journey in three stages with only a couple of hours wait in London Do you think it would be valid?

Hello everyone, I‘m traveling to France and Spain soon and I‘m wondering when the seat reservations should be purchased.  I‘d like to have some flexibility with my stays and book the reservations 1 or 2 days prior departure. However I figured this might not work out, since some trains may already be fully booked by then.Stops will include Paris, Nice, Barcelona, Madrid and Sevilla. It would really be helpful if somebody could share their experience and guidance on when they reservations should be booked. Also, I will be traveling in September so the Paris Olympics shouldn’t be an issue.  Greetings,Mateo

 On moblie pass have train journey with Eurostar for 31 july.  When I try to add to travel day it says:  no outbound/inbound journeys left it looks like you’ve used all your outbound/inbound journeys.  youll need to buy a separate ticket to make this journey. Have been able to add another journey from paris with no problem. Appreciate any guidance.    If I have begun with a mobile pass, can I change to a paper pass?  is this easy to do?I have also requested help from Interrail. Many thanks, barbara

We bought a flexi 3 days Eurail pass for Italy in September, and so far planned 2 out of 3 days.  For the last day, I am thinking to use the pass to do regional travel within Rome instead of using the metro.  Appreciate suggestions on the train stations worth stopping over that have attractions eg Rome Travestere etc.  Thanks.

I am trying to book a train from Brussels to Amsterdam for 4 of us on Saturday 27th July but I cannot seem to do it is it alright to just turn up at the station and buy tickets or has anyone got any advice please? Thank you 

Hello, after our stay in the Spanish Basque Country, we'll travel with Interrail through France back to the Netherlands from September 5 or 6. We don't want to reserve our seats on the TGV for this, but prefer to travel back to the Netherlands by the 'normal' train like the TER over several days. The question is, do we also have to reserve seats for the 'normal' train? Can anyone let us know? many thanks!

This is a change of plans for us. This is the first time we are taking the rail. And we are visiting from the United States to Spain, France, and Switzerland. We are traveling tomorrow from Alicante Spain to Montpelier France.  What advice can you give me on best times to take the train and best options for traveling by train??

I purchased 5 day global pass, but canceled vac , am I able to request refund?

Hello Everyone!This is my first time here. I will be travelling to France this coming August 3-9. August 3-5, Paris FranceAugust 5-9, Colmar FranceNow here’s the tricky part on my travel situation. I have a booked hotel in Colmar, France from August 5-9 and I am planning to visit different country on the duration of my stay in Colmar. The travel would be to and from each day. I know it’s not the most ideal itinerary but I made a mistake booking the hotel and so I decided to just make the most of it. I have bought a global pass for 5 days. I still can use my global pass even if i have go back to Colmar at the end of each day after visiting a different European country?Appreciate all the replies.

I am planning to go from Interlaken to Milan on Aug 6th in the evening. I understand that there is construction going on so will have to take the bus for part of the journey (from Domodossola). Where do I reserve a seat for the bus? Are there other shorter routes to Milan from Switzerland?

 For the past few days,  I tried numerous times to make seat reservations using Rail Planner.  But when it routes me to the eurail website, I get this error:Bad RequestYour browser sent a request that this server could not understand.Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. Has anyone encountered this error?  I have a mobile pass for 2 Adults.  I’m almost giving up hope, is it possible to just book the seats at the train stations on the day of itself?  We will be travelling to Rome in early September. 

Hi,I have read to other topic with the same question from two years ago, but was curious of there is something improved in the last years. I want to travel from Milano Centrale to Frankfurt Hbf, see screenshot below for the details. Raileurope don't show any option to book the train from Milan to Zürich. What is the best way to book that specific train? 

Hallo zusammen,Mir wurde gesagt, dass man die Zugreservierungen für Spanien auch in Deutschland buchen kann, wenn man sie persönlich am Schalter kauft.Daher meine Frage: Hat jemand damit Erfahrung?Ich würde das gerne machen, bin mir aber unsicher, wie ich vorgehen soll, da es meine erste Interrail-Reise ist.Was ist der beste Weg? Soll ich im Voraus die Züge heraussuchen, die ich nehmen möchte, und mir Notizen machen? Dann würde ich sie der Person am Schalter nennen, damit sie die Reservierungen für mich bucht? Oder wie läuft das genau ab?  Ich bin etwas verunsichert, weil ich nicht genau verstehe, wie man die Reservierungen vornimmt. Man kann ja nur eine Reservierung buchen, wenn man auch ein gültiges Zugticket hat. Aber das habe ich in diesem Fall ja noch nicht, da ich die Tickets für meine Reisetage noch nicht im Voraus habe.Kann mir jemand bitte weiterhelfen? Vielen Dank im Voraus.
