Hi everyone! I am a new Interrail user and I need your help!I am planning my first Interrail experience but I am having troubles in finding connections between Tallinn and Prague. I have read that the app might not be updated and that the Baltic regions might not have inserted the train timetables on the Interrail webpage. My question is: If I book the train connection (Tallinn-Prague) on a national rail webpage (Omio), will it be included in my Interrail ticket or will I have to pay extra for it? How do I do?(As both Tallinn and Prague are Interrail destinations) THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!
My wife and I are considering a night train from Venice to Bern (Lauterbrunnen). We are also considering an overnight from Geneva to Paris.Has anyone done this (sleeper car, first class seats, other)?Suggestions? Are we going to be missing out on scenery or other as a result?
The Belgium rail system is having a scheduled strike on Oct. 5th. If our train originates in Amsterdam with a final destination of Paris will it go as scheduled and just not stop in Brussels? Or will it not travel through any part of Belgium during the strike? Thalys train runs right through Belgium.
Hello community, does anybody know how to deal with the following situation: We are in Spain near Barcelona and according to Interrail we are allowed to use the regional train RE1 to Barcelona City with our Global Pass. But at the local train station we need paper tickets to pass the electronic gate. So we had to buy paper tickets at the station, although we already had valid tickets. Do we have any chance to get our money back? And do you know how to deal with such situations in future? Would be glad for any advice…

Dear people of Interrail,I’m travelling today with my 4-days card from the Netherlands, but my actual start date was yesterday. Unfortunately, there were train strikes that day, so I decided to travel today instead. But now I see that my first travel day (of yesterday) is expired. Is it possible that I can still travel 4 days, instead of 3 days now? Thanks already.
I am using the Eurail app and looking at trains from Stresa, Italy to Milan. All of the trips I am seeing in the app are about 2 hours (1:42, 2:31, 2:41, 2:38, 2:41) and many of them involve buses. In fact, the shortest trip is all on bus. I tried several different days and they are all long trips. I have personally taken the train several times as recently as 1 year ago, and know its under 1 hour, maybe even 0:50. Its the same train ride from Domodossola through Stresa down to Milan. Is the app having problems, or are the train tracks out of commission? Last year, a track was under construction in France for a few weeks. I don’t know how to find that in Italy.
Hi all,I am using the Interrail Ticket for the first time. I bought the Interrail-France-Pass with 4 days of travel and I am living in Germany. I am planning on crossing the border at Saarbrücken. How does this actually work. I planning on getting a ticket with Deutsche Bahn to Saarbrücken. Can I then use the Interrail Ticket from Saarbrücken? Thanks for your advice.Martin
Dear all,I was hoping to do a bike trip in Portugal following the Eurovelo 1 Route at the end of September/beginning-mid October. However, I seem to not be able to find connections in Spain that will allow me to bring my bike without dissembling and storing it in a box.Do you have any advice or experience taking your bike on trains in Spain to Portugal? I will be happy to also cycle in Spain to connect to places if need be. Thanks for your help :)Best
I'm planning a trip with my mother in switzerland for 4 days and i was wondering if the 1st class option is worth the difference in price since some trains don't even offer 1st class. We're going from paris -> geneve -> interlaken -> jungfrau and back to paris. Is it worth it for my mom? Is it more comfortable? And which areas don't have the 1st class options on trains? And is it possible to purchase a 2nd class pass but upgrade to 1st on a couple trains like on the goldenpass line
I'm genuinely curious are other people having as much issues as I am with booking trains/reserving seats and there being train strikes or construction or this dumb thing with sending paper tickets? I've had a nightmare of a trip because I have no experience with european summer and wondering if it's always this busy and messed up???
