Our Interrail trip is coming to an end and so far everything has worked out well. Now we are planning to head back from Marseille to Germany (country of residence) on Thursday (2 September). Starting that day is a major train strike in Germany which means that we’ll probably be able to come into Germany from france (til Frankfurt) but can’t reach our final destination (Leipzig). what options do we have now? We can’t wait it out in Frankfurt as we have nowhere to stay and the inbound travel day of our global pass will have been used due to the marseille - Frankfurt connection.
Hey,do I have to travel every bit of my journey by train or can i fly from on city to another and then continue to use my interrail pass?My specific plan would be to start in Munich and travel to the Toskana, I would then fly back to Munich and start the rest of my journey from there. Looking forward to your answers!
Any comments on a dress code for 1st class train journeys in Italy. I will be bringing my 20-22 year old Grandsons, and they probably want to wear shorts, maybe more casual than Bermudas. I know they will be somewhat out of place, but don’t want to see them asked to get off the train.

My medication needs to be cold. On planes they have fridges and they let passengers keep their meds there but I don't know about trains. The time spent on the trains is too long for my meds, they need refrigeration. Is there any solution? Do all trains have cold places to keep meds?
Hi! My question’s a little bit confused so i need your experiences.Me, as a non EU citizen, created a route and want to go France by plane (there’s no restrictions) first. Then i will go Switzerland and here’s the problem! There’s no restrictions for passengers from france, but i’m a non EU citizen. (The countries here are just an example, i just wanted to explain situation)Does anyone have an experience like that? Did you face any problem? Thanks in advance!
Hey Community! I am planning a trip this summer with my bicycle and wanted to use interrail for the largest stretches of commuting. When trying to plan a journey in the interrail app I can see for every train in a particular journey whether or not it takes a bike, but this is a very inefficient way to check journeys. Besides inefficiency, the interrail app only provides me with trains that do not carry a bike… Trying to plan a trip using train providers like OBB (austria) and DB (germany) I can find trips that allow me to take a bike but these use trains that interrail does not allow I believe. It is all a bit of a mess…Any advice or experience with this would be much appreciated. The particular trip I am looking at now is Utrecht Centraal to Verona porta nuova. Thanks people :)
Ich habe beim durchblättern von Reiseführern gelesen, dass man in Polen teilweise extra Tickets für Gepäck benötigt. Ist das im Interrail Ticket enthalten? Muss ich da nochmal was extra kaufen?
Hello,I am currently planning my trip in the ‘interrail planner app’. The interrail site says that there is an option to take the train from Villach to Zagreb at 12:53 at the 2nd of August, but the app says the option doesn't excist. The Austrian site ÖBB also says that there is a train that leaves at 12:53, so i know it is possible. How can i add this train to ‘my trip’?If i can't add this option, i can't travel because the mobile pass is connected to the trip that i have plannend…Can anyone help me with this?
Hello, I’m travelling from Vienna to Paris. I’m going from Vienna to Frankfurt and from Frankfurt to Paris. My 2 options are the following:1) Vienna - Frankfurt 11:02 - 18:23Frankfurt - Paris 18:56 - 22:522) Vienna - Frankfurt 6:37 - 14:19Frankfurt - Paris 16:56 - 20:47So I prefer option 1 because is more direct and only 33 minutes to change and not having to wake up so early. My question is if any one knows if with corona there are any important delays and maybe that 33 minutes are not enough to change or even to reach the train.

In a couple of weeks time I intend to travel around Croatia and Bosnia on my honeymoon, both me and the wife (to be at the moment, seems crazy writing that after the last 18month) are double jabbed, so it will be fine entering Croatia from the UK, are we able to cross into Bosnia and then back into Croatia again the next week without doing anything, or will we need to do tests and at what point. Are things more complicated with us no longer being in EU/Schengen and Croatia being in EU and Bosnia not. Many thanks if anyone knows the answers, my head hurts from looking at all the different things 🤣.
Hello, I would like to take a train from Salzburg to villach and villach to venice but there is only 6minuts of transfer between the two trains, so I’m scared to miss the train from villach to Venise, because we don’t know at all the train station of villach and 6minuts of transfer seems very short.
Question, I am planning on using the rail from Copenhagen to Berlin, and after 3 days head to Prague and after 3 days across to Vienna and after 5 days head back the same route in one straight shot of 21hrs. With a PCR validity of 72hrs, do the different locations have testing centers for non-residents in transit?.
