My husband and I have 3 month global passes (on app)which we’ll activate in September. I’ve been planning journeys and adding them to My Trip. I haven’t added them to the pass as I gather it’s best to do that on the day, for flexibility. However I’ve changed some of our planned itinerary and want to delete some journeys from My Trip. Cannot see how to do this. Can anyone advise? Thanks
Hello, I have a small problem: I have a mobile Interrail Pass. However, due to an issue with my IPhone, I had to reset it. As my pass was registered on the railplanner app, and as I tried to enter the code of my pass on the app, the app said "your pass is already registered on another device". But that's not possible, I had to do a reset of my phone.I will probably have to change the battery of my Phone, so maybe I will have to ask the same question another time if the Apple Store has to reset again my phone or if I have to change my phone. I will be travelling very very soon, so if I can have an answer quickly that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Yann
Dear community,I’ve contacted the costumer service on 31/5 with the question to change my date of birth (I’ve made a mistake in the year of birth). I wanted to make the seat reservations but the wrong date of birth is on those documents as well, so I’m waiting until I receive news from them. I did activate the pass already, so I hope this does not make any difference? I’m planning to travel to Sweden and Norway and for Norway it is more difficult to get the seat reservations then Sweden… I’m leaving on 2nd of July. Is there any way to contact costumer service by phone? Thanks for your answer!Stijn
After my recent experience with our Interrail Passes, I will not be using them again. Here’s why. First, the process of fixing reservations is unbelievably complex. My partner and I wanted to travel from London to Seville and back, using 4-days-in-30 passes. This was our first experience of long-distance train travel down through Europe. Preparing the trip took me hours of work, much of it very frustrating, mainly in order to set up the required reservations. Some I was able to do on the Interrail site - that was fairly straightforward. Others, like those within Spain, had to be done directly with the operating rail company, who mailed the paper tickets several days later. And even those done through the Interrail site hit problems later, the main one being that, even though I did the bookings for my partner and myself at the same time, and even though our passes were both on the same device, several of the reservations came back with us sitting not only apart, but in different
Dear EurailI have purchased a Eurail pass with Plus 20-Dec-2020 and the order confirmation clearly states "The pass is fully refundable without a fee, however the fee for Plus is non-refundable" (IN30227660).06-May-2021 I received a mail that the activation period was extended until 31 august 2022. Unfortunately, summer plans are so that the travel can't be made this summer and a refund is there necessary.However, when I login to my account - the ability to apply for refund is not available where it should be as per your help information.I have contacted your service department 04-Jun-2022 using your facebook support option to get this error fixed or a refund done - and received confirmation e-mail confirming receipt of the request. I have not heard anything back yet.I don't think > 2 weeks response time for a simple support request like this is reasonable - and the money is needed to pay for the alternative summer vacation!Can you please prioritize getting this service request mana
I have a residence permit in Germany , my passport is at the UK embassy, can I still travel outside Germany with the interrail pass? Can I activate the pass with my passport number even if don’t have it physically when traveling?, I just have a picture of it and a proof that my passport is at the embassy.
I am trying to buy a couple of 5 day Eurail passes for Ireland for a July trip, but the website is telling me shipping will take until mid-August? Is there anyway to get this shipped much much much faster, like within a week. Or alternatively, can I just buy the pass at one of the Dublin train stations? if so, how much more will that cost than purchasing online? Thanks
Hi everyoneI’m planning my trip for this summer. I’ve already bought my pass. The pass is connected to “my interrail trip”. Today, I downloaded the app and I wanted to add my pass. I was able to add my pass but in the second step I am not able to choose my trip called “my interrail trip”. I just can create a new trip. According to the guide I would have here the option to choose “my interrail trip”. What can I do?Thanks for your help!
Yesterday (18th of June) i was on the rail planner app planning my trip and using it to see if there were connections by train between different cities. Automatically the travel day was set for today (19th of June) . I didn’t notice this and midnight went by and it kept like this. Now the pass is activated and it appears i can’t change the fisrt travel day. I only want to start my trip in middle of July. I can’t change it on my own but is it possible for someone to help? It would be a huge heartbreak to lose the pass and the experience.
Hi! Im going on a trip in some days and had to go to another city in my country. I tried to activate multiple journeys. I didnt go but ive used up my inbound/outbound journeys. Is it possible to get these back considering i didnt go?
I’ve got a global mobile pass. Sorry if these are stupid quesitons, but this is my first time using it. When should I connect a journey to my pass? Should I wait until I’m on the train? What happens if I connect a journey before I board and then miss that train or the train is cancelled? Can I just get on the next train to the same destination using the same QR code? If my journey has multiple changes, do I need a QR for each stage? For example, I want to go from Bruges to Berlin, which takes c8h overall and has 2 changes. Do I get one QR code for the whole journey when I board at Bruges, or do I break it down into stages and get a separate QR code for each stage?
Hey, I want to go to Paris at the end of July (from Berlin), then back to Berlin. Then at the beginning of August to Cologne and then to Austria. Then back to Cologne and then to Berlin. Good afternoon,I plan to get a Mobile Pass for a trip in the late August. It seems that the shipping of a paper version of the pass will be very late. I need to have a paper justificative to be reimbursed by my employer. Does anyone know whether it is possible to have such document after having bought a Mobile Pass?Thank you very much
Hey everyone! Unfortunately our Global Passes were activated one day early and our first travel day got used up without travel… So frustrating this is even possible but we emailed customer support right away and now hoping they get back to us in time. I sent the email on Thursday 16th of June with all the details and dates for our travel. We are leaving on Thursday the 24th of June and we just want to make sure this will get sorted?? Is there any type of guarantee? We don’t want to have to buy new tickets for 200£ each just because of this.. A big headache when on vacation.. Thank you in advance for any tips!
Hello all, I am trying to book reservations online which I really need to do soon but the interface always says“Your Pass cover number doesn't look right”I already tried out all numbers I could find on my paper pass and in the online reservation. Issuer is DB (CIV 1080), as it says on the pass. Could the issue maybe be that I did not purchase the pass myself but the travel department of my employer did it?
Hello,Irish citizen living in the UK for the past 6 years.I am excited to use Interrail for my first cross Europe trip, London to Croatia this summer.I am wondering however, when applying for my Interrail, whether to say that my country of residence is UK or Ireland. My only ID is an Irish passport, however I want to use an outbound day of the global pass to use Eurostar to leave London.I have no ID or residency papers for the UK, even though this is where I have lived for the last 6 years.What do people recommend? If I choose UK but have only an Irish passport, will this cause problems? At the same time, if I choose Ireland but want to travel from my residency country of the UK, would this be possible?
