Eurail & Interrail Passes

I installed the Interrail Rail Planner App (several times). But my mobile is always shutting down, when opening it. I´ve tried various ways solving the problem (reinstalling, App Settings as proposed, ...), but nothing has changed. Now it´s only 3 weeks to go, before our trip begins. The seat reservations are bought. What can I do, if I should not find a way to start the App on my mobile? How can I activate my pass and proof / show my tickets?I reported the problem to the customer service some weeks ago, but the advice wasn´t helpful. The prior condition was always a started app e.g. for error logging and so on. But as I wrote: The mobile (Huawei P 8, Android 6.0, is shutting down after starting the app before I can do anything.

Hi.  i have bought a 5 days pass for me and my boyfriend for last autumn. We couldnt go so we planned on going this summer. But it seems that the 11 months period is expiring before july (when we planned to go). I also unfortunately already actived my pass because i was panicking and i didnt really know how to use the pass correctly. Can i get a refund or its possible to push the start date a month ahead?  sadly i couldnt get to anyone for the custumer service for the past 2 weeks hopefully anyone can help me :(

Hello, I am trying to find information: 1)me and 12,8,7 yrs will start off tommorow, my son 17 yrs will come 5 day later via london (have own mobile app) - that should be possible  2) 12/8 I will have to come back home to let 3 children be also with their father  and another  day 13/8 I would like to travel to Norway with the oldest son. On 21/8 I would like to pick up the 3 at home and continue travelling for one week. Is my plan possible? many Thanks!!!

Hello! i live in France but Germany is my country of residence. Next week I want to visit my family in Germany for three weeks. Is it possible to take the one-country-pass and to inverse the inbound and outbound day for my travel?Thanks for your answers :) If one of you like to answer in French or German, go for it :)

Hello, I was logged in to the discover eu app on my phone and had added my interrail pass there. Then I deleted the app off my phone and redownloaded it but when I try to log in the app tells me that my account is already connected to another device. I don’t know what to do, I travel in 1 week. If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it a lot.

My phone broke yesterday and I had to factory reset it. I redownloaded the interrail app but can't add my global pass as it says it's already been activated on a different device. I contacted customer services via the form on the website yesterday but I've had no reply. I URGENTLY need to access my pass again as I need to travel again tomorrow .please please help.Thank you

URGENT! I am stuck in Bulgaria with only days of accommodation left. My mobile phone was stolen on Sunday the 24th Of July in Bulgaria, I have now bought myself a new phone but cannot add my pass to it as it is still connected to my old one. This is very urgent I will soon be stuck homeless in Bulgaria and need to leave very soon to get to my booked accommodation in Greece. Please I need help adding my pass to my new phone otherwise I will be stuck.

I want to visit a friend in Munich for a few days during my trip from Amsterdam, but I need to go back to Amsterdam for a few days before continue travelling.Does an Eurail pass allow that?

My daughter was too poorly to go traveling with her friends but now wants to meet them in Paris at the weekend. She has a second class interrail pass and her journey home is already booked. There are only Business Premier tickets to go out to Paris. How can she upgrade so that she can get a seat? She is happy to pay the extra. Thanks

Hello! I’m studying abroad at in England this year and have a student visa residency card. By the time I’m looking to travel (March-April) I’ll have been here for 6 months. Should I buy a Interrail or a Eurail pass? I know that to buy Eurail you have to be outside of Europe, which I will not be, but my passport is American. Thanks for the help!

Hey, I have a flexi pass interrail ticket and wanted to book my first travel day over the app.I am from Germany and want to take an ICE to Switzerland. Unfortunately the app says then, when I want to activate the ticket, that its not valid for the countries. When I want to book something in switzerland it is working. How is this possible and what can i do? Thank you in advance!

Hello, currently on an inter rail trip in the Scandinavian countries. My cousin has just had her phone stolen with her mobile pass on it. However, we have 15 days left over 1 month to travel. We tried to put his pass on the Rail Planner app on another phone but it was impossible due to the activation on his stolen phone. Can you allow us to put his pass on another phone in order to continue the trip.

Can I buy the Benelux pass even if I leave Lyon and come back to Lyon (I only visit Brussels and cities in the Netherlands) ? 

I am confused by the fact that there seem to be two kinds of trips. One is in the planner app, is linked to 1 pass and has automaticall the pass owner as the only traveller. The second trip is instead in the website profile, it might have more that 1 traveller and is usdd to make reservations.The two trips are completely independent and disconnected: trips created in the planner app are not visible in the “trips overview" in the account website, and vice versa.I find this confusing. Am i missing something?Thanks 

Hi, me and some friends bought a youth pass in January 2021 planning to travel last summer when we were 27.Due to covid the plans were postponed and the tickets were extended for another year. However this year we are all 28 and cannot activate our passes. We plan to begin travelling next week. I have contacted customer services 3 days ago and have not heard back yet.Is there any way to activate the passes? Thanks! 

We bought a Global Pass ORDER EU30624577 Placed on 16-05-2022 but couldn’t get a reservation on the train London to Paris so we only needed a one country pass. We followed the instructions and bought a second pass .. one country France ORDER EU30625244 Placed on 17-05-2022. We then asked customer service to refund the Global Pass as directed on the web site. We are already back from our trip but no refund on the Global Pass. Anyone know how long this should take or if we should be contacting Eurail another way?

Hello, i’m new to the interrail community and i was wondering if the trip i was hoping to do was possible if i chose the Interrail Global Pass Youth. I want to travel between: lille - london  london - york  york - scarborough (round trip) york - cambridge  cambridge - london  london - brighton (round trip) london - lille I was going to buy the Interrail Global Pass Youth 7 days within1 month. Is it compatible with my trip ?  Thank you in adance Best regards 

My father bought Eurail passes and have them delivered as paper. I have been trying to cement reservations I’ve tried to input the pass cover numbers online and using the app--neither recognize them as valid. The chatbot and use of facebook messenger on Eurail.com was not helpful. I know the website says it needs to be activated at a train station, is there a faster way?

I entered the wrong year when purchasing a åass for my son. (I wrote 2004 instead of 2002. The boy qualifues for “youth" anyway , so this error is just a typo). Do we need to panic (he is liiving soon and i have little hope that customer support can fix this...)Has anyone faced problem because of.a non material error in the birthday?  

I am a 30 year old British nursing student and was wondering if there were any discounts that I would be eligible for? I’ve had a scan through the website and can only find discounts for 27 and younger. Would be grateful for any help. Diolch :) 

Hi everyone,I have a few questions about payments with the passes and the stops.I am planning on backpacking through France this Summer and I am trying to figure this Interrail thing out. When I plan a trip in Plan-your-Trip on your site and in the app, many transfer options are given. All stops and transfers that have to be made, are they all covered by the pass? Including the price displayed next to it? (often 13 euros).I can also see an Interrails railway map on the website, but only big known cities are mentioned there and not all the other small stops that are named in Plan-your-Trip. What is this map good for and do I have to pay separately for trains that do not fall under those big stops? Is it possible to see all the routes you can take in Europe?Hope someone can help me.Thanks in advance!xIsabel

Hi, we want to go from Bar to Belgrado on the 28th. We are already in Bar and bought a reservation today. But we are not sure how it works with our passes as we can not find the train in the planner app. How do we make sure that we can accually take the train, but not have to buy a ticket outside our passes? 

If I were to buy a ticket for Berlin at 11pm with the arrival at 6am the day after, would it count as 1 day or 2 days of travel?

During the sale I bought a 1 month pass. The pament went through and I see a 252 euro transaction on my bank. The Interrail website said the payment was successful. But the order isn’t visible in Order overview, neither did I get a conformation email.
