I bought two mobile passes a few days ago, with the starting travel date on 14/8. I also purchased the Plus upgrade, so 100% refund should be possible. However the return policy page has been unavailable for the past few days: https://www.interrail.eu/nl/interrail-passes/ordering-info/return-policyI tried to contact the customer service several times, but I only hear back from you after 3 weeks. Please help me cancel the global passes
I have a 3 month continuous pass I’m halfway through my trip (6 weeks of travel) my journey. Sometimes my app has glitches but normally they work out. I’m on a train from Vienna to Salzburg then to Munich then to Berlin. All in one day. My trip is saved, I have seat reservations, and the trip is saved to my pass. But when I select to show my pass the barcode does not show and it says I have no journeys that day. This time it has been hours and I’m on the train but the barcode is not showing. How do I get my ticket?
Hello :) So back in january I bought my 7days mobile pass because I didn't know yet when I would travel (and ofc Covid-19).Now I have a plan where I'll go and when but after following this forum for a little bit I have the impression that the mobile pass doesn't always work.. smoothly 😅. Tickets dissapearing etc. Is this really a big problem that happens a lot? How do I prevent this from happening? And what if it happens? Last time I used Interrail I used the Paper pass and that always worked 😂 (plus I had a souvenir hehe)Thanks for all tips and information you can give me :)
I am looking to complete a bucket list tour of Europe as soon as the Covid restrictions are listed. I have been planning carefully for several months. The reality is that I will need a four months’ global pass. Such a beast does not seem to exist. Yes, I could buy a 3 month + 1 month or 2 x 2 months’ passes but that is an expensive option. As we all know the price reduces exponentially per day from 1 to 2 to 3 months but the jump to 4 is not attractive. Is there a workround, please?
Besides wider seat, wifi, etc. as advertised on the website, are there other benefits in reservation, luggage space in 1st class cabins, change of trip, etc. We are planning a trip between Germany, Czehia, Hungary, Austria, possibly Switzerland, I don’t see much direct night train available to warrant a 1st class purchase. Any insight to the differences is appreciated.
Hey guys, We need your help. My best friend and I are planning a Trip to Brest, France. We are starting in Berlin (main station) and thought about taking the train down to Mannheim (main station). The route would continue with a TGV connecting Mannheim and Paris (Gare L’Est). The route from Paris to Brest is also clear, now our question is: If we buy an Interrail Pass for France only, does ist cover the trip from Mannheim (main station) to Paris Gare de L’Est? Because it is an TGV and going to France? If u have further questions, comment down below. Merci bcp! Zoe and Lotta
hi,I bought a flexipass 10 days during 2 months. I lost 2 days of traveling (the app is swipping the day) : so when I look back, day 2 and 6 are empty of journey : ‘It’s writing ‘NO JOURNEYS ADDED’ but impossible to use it. I send messages by mail and messager to INTERRAIL, but no solution receveid because of they are too busy. And my pass is ending the 31 of august. Thanks a lot.
Hello everyone, We're (my sister and I) supposed to go home from France to Germany on the 12th, but in Germany, trains are currently cancelled on that day so we would have to find another way home. Is it possible to travel through or into other countries like the Netherlands to get home? Or is that not included in our One Country ticket? If we could go to, say, Enschede, it'd be much more convenient for us. Does anyone know or are there fellow Germans looking for the same problem/solution?
dear all,I am wondering about one question, which I cannot clarify therefore:Is anyone of you experienced with sharing a free travel day with a friend? E.g. travelling from Prague to Munich with your Global pass and writing 2 times the same destination to the pass? (one for you and one for the friend, who accompanied you).Waiting for your experienceigor
Hello ! I’m new, this might already have an answer somewhere but didn’t find anything.I’m considering getting one, but I red online that in some situations you might have to pay an overhead cost to travail. Is every train Europe => Europe included ? What are the exceptions I should know about ? Thank you !
Dear community,I have been experiencing a lot of issues using the mobile pass in Interrail's own app. I have been trying to get support from the customer service for more than two weeks now but only received one standard answer to update the app which didn't help me further since my app was and still is up to date. Please let me know if you have any idea how to fix the issue I'll describe below. In the beginning of my travels everything seemed to work fine. After a while different sections of the app (journey details, ticket with QR code,...) started disappearing again and again, I could first help myself by taking screenshots during the times when the app was working. However, for more one week I am not able to access My Pass and My Trip, I can not see my ticket or my journey at all. It looks like I never added a ticket but when trying to add my pass again, it says that "This pass is already on your device". It just seems to be locked or hidden for me in some way. I don't dare uninstal
Merci beaucoup.
Hi all! I am looking to book a post graduate Europe trip with my college roommates and was wondering what it would mean if we booked the 15 or 22 day Global pass? I see that it says we have 15 rides or 22 rides depending on the package we choose, but I was wondering if it means I have to use all the passes in a row? Or is it that I have the 15 rides for a certain amount of time and as long as I use them in that time frame it is one price? Any answers or advice will be helpful!
Dear Interrail Team,I have requested an exchange of my 2020 global pass after my journey was interrupted due to covid measures in spring last year. Following your advice I asked for exchange at the train station where I purchased the original pass. The staff there had no clue and told me to contact Interrail directly. That's what I did more than a week ago and I'm still waiting for a reply. I want to start traveling on 11th August and would really appreciate your reply before that date. Thanks,Marco
Hi all,I’m from the Netherlands. And will travel Monday 19 July, this I’ll be my first time traveling alone. At the moment the positive tests in the Netherlands are rising a lot compared with a few weeks ago. Now I want to know how people from my country are thinking about the current situation. I hope, someone from the Netherlands where I can connect to and talk about the situation, maybe I’ll see different aspect or who someone who have more experience with interrail traveling. Hope to talk to someone and have a conversation with :DYours sincerely, Romy
So here is my situation: I am coming in from California, my first day in Europe is September 5th (Madrid), then to Barcelona (September 7th), then on to Switzerland (September 10), where I plan to be for several days and travel within the country.I bought a 5-day within 1 month first class global pass, so my question is, what counts as a travel day? Is local transportation included and counts as a travel day? Thanks
Hello everyone,Past sunday I decided to do some intterrailing this summer. I waited for it to the last minute because of corona. I did the same last year and with the priority shipping option I got my paper pass very fast. This year however, that option was not avaible and normal shipping took to long to arrive. I bought the mobile pass but instantly regretted it, seeing all the problems that people are faced with it. It also feels very insecure to have my pass on my phone, which may get damaged or stolen which leaves me stranded, my holiday ruined and my wallet robbed. I'm still going to travel the 16th, but does anyone else feel the same way about this? Are there maybe some people with actual good experiences using the mobile pass?
HelloI wanted to enter my password with my password manager, but that didn’t work, copy and paste also doesn’t work in the password field. This is the first website that this has happened to me :( Please make a normal field, so that not every one has to type in their 20 digit password Thanks!
It's my sixth day out of seven. I have the Interrail Pass for 30 days. Everything was alright till yesterday. Yesterday evening the train guards let me and my friend go but there was no ticket on their devices after they scanned our QR codes. They even told us that the ticket is "way too expired". The situation has repeated today. We are in Nordrhein-Westfalen in Germany. I can speak German only a little so we had to use the translator. It's stressful. I am worried and I don't know who I should contact and what I should do. Tomorrow we are going home, to Poland.
Yesterday i bought an interrail ticket for me and 3 other people. I am still waiting for a confirmation email or some sort but it does not seem to be comming. I’ve tried all ways of contacting but the phone number i could find didn’t work, the help bots couldn’t do any good and there is still no reply to my mail.
