We have a 4 day pass. We are a family of 4. We are travelling overnight from Barcelona to Paris, then paris to Truro (UK), then Truro to Norwich. We have managed only to book the Eurostar actually through interrail. The night train from Latour de Carol wouldn’t show up so we booked through Rail Europe (that apparently is connected?!). We also have seat reservations in the UK, which also don’t show up in the app and we don’t know how to connect it all. It seems all in different places. My question is: When we get on a train that ISN’T in the app, what happens when they ask for our tickets? Is it simply showing the pass number and then the seat reservation separately? Or are we missing a vital part?! Thank you!
With Eurail i have any disccount on First Cliff Walk on Grindelwald ticket?
From Warszawa (Poland) to Vilnius (Lithuania) is a seat reservation mandatory, but it is impossible to book it via Interrail in general for Lithuania. The ticket overall would cost about 30€. Is it possible to only buy the seat reservation at the train station in Warszawa? Same problem for Vilnius to Riga (latvia). From Riga to Tallin (Estonia) there is no mandatory seat reservation, so it should be possible to use the Interrail pass as usual?
I have a eurail pass and I am trying to book a train from Vienna to Krakow on August 17th. Yesterday it said I could not reserve a seat until 60 days before so today I tried to book and it said it could be full. All of the routes are showing that on the Eurail website. Is there anything I’m not understanding and how can I reserve this seat? Any advice is greatly appeciated.
Eurostar is at pass qouta and will be for serval more days. I need to meet up with family for another trip in toulouse but now can't as no seats are available. The no reservation needed route takes 25 hours with 11 changes with an overnight stay at the station. Are there any other more reasonable routes to tolouse that aren't sold out, willing to take almost any other route.
If you had the chance to visit only one of those 2 museums, which one would you choose? We (2 adults with 2 sons 14 and 24) are staying 2 nights in York and could do the detour to Leeds on the day we leave for Edinburgh or stay the morning in York for the Railway museum.
Hi, I want to travel from Germany to Sweden. My Home Land ist germany. The train always goes through Denmark. Do I need a Global Pass for this, or is a Country Pass sufficient since I won't be getting off in Denmark? thank you! xoxo Sandra
I lost my umbrella between Copenhagen and Denmark. Is there a way I can check with Eurail to see if anyone turned it in?
Is this possible?
Hi all. I have submitted a request to support but am getting nervous as I’ve read they can be quite absent and I’ve been unable to find a phone number. My husband and I are traveling to Europe in mid November, and I purchased 2 Eurail mobile passes during the sale in March. I just now looked at the app on my phone, and can see the passes are described as “Continuous Pass: 15 days”. I’m totally freaking out, as I thought I purchased “Flex Pass: 15 days”. I’ve gone back into my emails, and absolutely nowhere on the invoice does it clarify that it was the continuous passes that I purchased instead of the flexi passes. It also says on the email that because I bought them during a promotional period, I am unable to exchange beyond 7 days of purchase. I’m really annoyed, because if the invoice had actually specified what I’d purchased, I would have realised within the 7 days that I had purchased the wrong tickets! It’s only by chance that I’ve now downloaded the app a couple months later, th
I'm planning a trip to London and have been researching all the popular attractions, but I'd love to hear some honest opinions from people who have actually visited the city.In your experience, which London attraction do you think is a bit overrated and not quite worth the hype, time, or money? On the other hand, what place do you think is underrated and deserves more attention from visitors?I'm interested in hearing about famous landmarks, museums, viewpoints, neighborhoods, markets, parks, or even lesser-known spots that surprised you. Sometimes the places that aren't heavily promoted end up being the most memorable parts of a trip.I'm trying to prioritize my itinerary and would rather spend my limited time on experiences that are genuinely worthwhile. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and personal recommendations!
I've been looking into different destinations across Europe for my next trip, and it got me wondering which cities people enjoy the most and what makes them special. If you had to choose just one favorite European city, which would it be and why? Is it because of the history, architecture, food, culture, nightlife, scenery, affordability, or something else entirely?I'd love to hear about places that left a lasting impression on you, whether they're famous cities like Paris, London, Rome, or Amsterdam, or lesser-known destinations that more travelers should consider. Feel free to share any memorable experiences, hidden gems, or travel tips that made the city stand out.I'm hoping to get some inspiration for future trips and discover places that might not be on the typical tourist itinerary. Looking forward to hearing everyone's recommendations and travel stories!
I am looking to travel end of July - we are a group travelling on a mix of Interail and Eurail from the UK to France and then within France. Is it too late to try to make this trip with interail / eurail? Do you think I will have a problem finding seats in trains (including TGV and Eurostar) for 6 people? (and preferably seating together)? How much does the seat reservation with eurostar costs? Am I right that I need to buy the Global pass or global pass plus because I start in the UK?
We need seat reservations for Budapest to Cluj Napoca in two weeks time. MAV Hungary website. Repeated attempts on MAV Hungary website that Interrail links to have failed. We arrive in Budapest 36 hours before so would like to have the reservations before we set out on our trip.
Hi, I have to travel tomorrow Unable to book seat for Frankfurt to Paris then Paris to BrestI am not able to the book the seat, is there any issue with the reservation system?
We bought a One Country Pass for France. To reserve seats, you have to create a trip on the website and add travelers. But it doesn’t work because when you select One Country Pass, you can’t choose a country (dropdown says “No Options”). Without selecting a country, you can’t finish adding travelers. If you select “Global Pass,” you can add travelers, but seat reservation isn’t possible, error message: “At least one of the passes does not cover the trip.”
My family with 2 children will have an afternoon to spend in Lucerne (4 hours roughly) and an evening in Zürich (again, around 4 hours). In both cases we will be near the main station. Any suggestions for things to see or do please?

I am heading home from Bratislava to Karlsruhe. I am leaving early in the morning and i am planning to maybe do a short stop along the way to break the jouney a bit up Any recommendation on where to stop along the way?The journey takes arround 9 hours. So i am looking at a 3hour stop (maybe longer if there is a good reason for a slightly longer stop)I am planning on not doing Vienna or Munich despite those being the most obvious stops along the way as i stayed there a lot of times already (and i already had some short stops in Vienna on this trips)Any other recommendations?
Any UK dual nationals travelled between Brussels and London on EU passport since new rules? What happened?
I have a 4 day global interrail pass, We will travel from brussels to istanbul starting on 17/7/2026.I bought all 4 tickets for 4 night trains via the national train company websites (with indication I have global rail pass - so I bought at reduced price). Now I am adding the journeys in the rail planner app.I have 2 questions:Question 1: for the night train from bucharest to vienna on 8/8/2026 the start time as per my ticket is 15:00 , but I don’t find this train in the rail planner app - in rail planner app start time states 16:00. So what should I do ? Do I select the train of 16:00 in the app to add it to my rail pass or is there another option ? Question 2: for the night train from vienna to brussels leaving on 9/8 at 18:13 and arriving in brussels on 10/8 9:38there are two legs shown in the rail planner app :on 9/8 Wien -Aachen and Aachen to Bruxelles - > I selected 9/8 as a travel day and selected this legon 10/8 Aachen - Brussels → If I select this leg the app states :
As I understand it, seat reservations for the replacement bus is not possible. What about the supplement for the Brenner passage? Is it possible to buy them on the bus? We have just 10 minutes when we arrive at Innsbruck to catch the bus, according to the time table on öbb.
