Hi all,I have a major problem with my Interrail mobile pass. I use the Rail Planner app on my Iphone 6 and everything went well until 3 days ago, when the app was updated and could only be used with an IOS 13.0 version. Unfortunately, I cannot install it on phone. Then, I don’t have access to my app anymore. My pass ends in two weeks and I really need to use it to come back.Has someone experienced the same problem ? If someone could help me find a solution, I will be so grateful !Thanks in advance !
I'm looking for guidance on whether I should get the Swiss pass or Eurail pass. This will be for one adult and one 6 yo (she gets rides free) Below is my itinerary.Day 1 Paris to GenevaDay 2 to Montreaux(Golden Line pass)LucerneDay 3 (Titlis)Day 4 (Golden Round Trip)Day 4 Zurich. Based on my research, (All amounts in EUR)1. Let's say Paris to Geneva costs $60 for 2 in advance.2. Seat reservation of $30x2 Eurail3. Both passes get me rides on the GoldenPass.4. Titlis costs 129 w Eurail, 62 for SP5. Golden roundtrip both have the same $41 surcharge. I should factor what I'll assume to be small amounts for local trips on the tram/bus if I do not have the SP.I will need 3 days of the WP 257 and the minimum for Eurail is 4 days at 194 andThey both come about the same? $420 or so? Factor in local trips in Lucerne and Zurich, I probably should get the SP as it’s more convenient than scrambling for change to get tram tickets? Not staying city center in Geneva, Lucerne. Thanks
Hello I am dyslexic and the information on any website is always a little overbearing and I am seeking for an agent to help me with a return trip to Malaga from London which is £900 on Trainline. This site gives me the impression a Eurail Pass would be cheaper, but I’ve no idea on any restrictions with regard to it’s use etc and would feel more comfortable speaking to an agent to ensure my planned journey & times are covered… The Chatbot is not engineered to identify any neurodiverse keywords and is unable to help me. Thank you
Hello, I have a big problem, I had a technical problem to activate my pass. Now since one week I ask Interrail to help me, because my pass now is not valid anymore. We bought a 7 day eurail global pass. We are a group of 7 people (with luggage) traveling together. Below are the trains we are trying to book. Not able to do the seat reservation. can you please help what is the best. Also do you think it is best to cancel the europass (15% cancellation charges?) and do separate bookings for the individual trains. I made a reservation with OBB for tickets from Munich to Genova, and I am not sure if it is what I think it is. The printed tickets are all German, and I have translated some, and see it does say I paid with a credit card, but I don’t see where the times or train numbers are. I emailed OBB customer service, and there are ticket numbers and a QR code in what I printed, but I can’t figure out where on the ticket where it gives the info I need. I printed out a time table, but I don’t remember where that came from. I can’t find anything on the OBB sute to check a reservation, or to change a reservation. And if I remember, it gave a place to enter our Eurail pass numbers.
Please can you confirm that this is the best Global Pass we should purchase for our trip this December. This would be our itinerary plan.Hope to receive you earliest response. According to NS International Interrail is not valid anymore (even with seat reservation) on the ICE from the Netherlands towards Germany between 6:00 and 16:00, during the summer months (17 June - 18 August). 🤐 During the period from 17 June to 18 August 2023, Eurail and Interrail travellers cannot use the ICE International trains towards Germany with departure times between 6am - 4pm from a station in the Netherlands. Even with a separate seat reservation, travel on these trains is not allowed for Eurail and Interrail travellers during the specified period. I’ve made our first seat reservation out of several on Eurail. However they will not allow us to chose our seats. So, I wanted to book direct with Eurostar, with the hope they will let us chose our seats. However, they want a Pass Cover Number. We have mobile passes, so I don’t think I have that number. I’ve asked Eurail for it, but to no avail. Any suggestions on how to book seat reservations and be able to chose seats?
Hello,I need to book a reservation for the night train Paris->Latour de Carol on Saturday (and for a Spanish train on Sunday). At a DB counter, they told me that they cannot book domestic train reservations abroad anymore. On the SNCF website, it is not possible to book Interrail reservations any longer. B-europe does not show the train. And I cannot even access the Interrail.eu reservation tool: It says "Using the timetable below, you can make reservations for most European trains", but there is no timetable on the page at all. Does anyone know how I can book the reservation?
Canadian couple will be traveling Europe by train with first class Global Passes already purchased, mid-May to mid-June 2023. I’ve scoured the forums and picked up the info I can, but am still just a bit confused as to the best way to make the reservations. We are new to this.I’ve used the rail planner app for initial research on the routes we’ll require reservations on, but my understanding is that it isn’t always accurate as to schedules and isn’t ideal for making the reservations through. I’m posting my trip schedule (and reservations needed as I understand it) below and would appreciate feedback on whether it appears correct and the best way to make the reservations I have to.I do understand that I need to generate a pass cover on the Eurail site to make reservations. Can I use one cover for all reservations for both my wife and me? Also, where needed, are supplements purchased with reservations?ItineraryAmsterdam to Brussels May 16th - no reservations/supplement Bruges day trip -
I don't know if member's are aware, that if you book Amsterdam to London. Eurail have no direct trains, but you have to book 2 separate trains, one from Amsterdam to Brussels either IC or Thalys, change in Brussels and go through security, before boarding Eurostar.I got caught out by the website and finished up with a Brussels to London ticket. I have to now book at extra cost Amsterdam to Brussels with all the hassle of security in Brussels, and making sure my train arrives early enough. But I can't do this until 90 days before.I have tried to cancel or reschedule my trip through both Eurail and Eurostar to no avail, they just don't want to know.I reckon they take your money then abandon you.Be careful with booking on the Eurail website.
Hello,I have contacted customer service for over 10 days now and I have not received a response. I will be travelling to Europe and using the pass next week, so I’m really worried about when they will help fix my issue.I bought 4 adult passes, 4 youth and 2 children but once I bought them the 2 children passes were not emailed to me and I just wanted to add the 2 child passes to one of the adult passes and receive help from customer service to fix this. I need this resolved as soon as possible, as we are travelling in a group and without the child passes I will not be able to take the 2 children with us on the train rides.Thank you,Mahiya
Hi, I can see on DB website an overnight train (and when I click on further details it says EuroNight) from Prague to Frankfurt (18:26h EN40458), however when I proceed to book a seat, it doesn’t offer me the option to book a couchette, only the 4,50€ option for a seat. Do I have to book the couchette offline on the day or how does it work?Thank you!
