Hello everyone,So, I’m having great trouble reserving a sleeper cabin on the GWR Night Riviera Sleeper. From the GWR website the reservation with an interrail ticket can’t be made. I called them up and they said that by phone they won’t book them anymore either (apparently this has been like this since a few months - they had trouble with mismatching passes).The main SBB station in Berne can’t book reservations anymore for most train companies in the UK either and the interrail website, when working, tells me that it can’t be booked through them either.On the phone GWR advised me to book directly from a station in the UK, however I fear that by the time I’m there there likely won’t be a cabin anymore.I believe it might be possible to have a friend in the UK book the reservation for me, but surely there must be some way that it can be done from abroad? Would it be possible to buy a regular ticket and have the ticket fee reimbursed?I’m sure someone has done similar and I hope there is a

I have planned most of my trip which starts at the end of June.  I have 3 days open to stay somewhere and was considering Pula, Rijeka or Umag Croatia.  I was wondering if it is possible to use a Eurail pass to go from Bled, Slovenia to either of those 3 destinations or if it is mostly by bus.  Also was wondering if there is any train service from either of those locations to Milan, Italy.  Thank you.

Hi folks! Can u help me…? It never happened before.Plan to travel tomorow on ICE from Munich to Dresden, want to add the trip to my pass, and when I click “Show ticket” it sais “No ticket for this date, it looks you haven’t addad any journeys on this date...”Very strange, coz on German ICE no need reservation, and it alwas worked to add journey even right before the trip. Does anybody knows what it can be…?(I just selected and other trip for tomorow, to other city, just random, and it samely does not work...)It is quite annoying, never happened before….Help me pls!! Thank youuuuDavid

I have (already) bought a Eurail Global Pass for my upcoming trip to Italy (coming first time to Europe with my family including 2 kids). Budget is my BIG concern & I want to take full benefit of this pass (for cheap travel wherever possible).I am generally managing well (budget), however, concerned about traveling to (& within Italy) on this Pass. I have read that this pass is not much friendly in Italy (Tourist Trap etc, but I don’t want to buy another pass for Italy) and supports only Trenitalia and a few small other companies. The major routes that I want to travel (on different days) using this pass include:Switzerland to Rome (first use) - I am planning to reach Tirano, Italy (via Bernina Express) & then travel to Rome from here. However, this plan (using Bernina Express) is not FIXED & can be altered Rome to Florence (second use) Florence to Munich, Germany (third use) Munich to Milan (fourth use)So my questions are:I need help/guidance to find a cheap/free train

I’m planning a trip from Zermatt (Switzerland) to Miilano, Centrale (Italy) on August, 9.I’d like to know if the following route is OK with my Eurail pass.The route is not listed on the Eurail. com for seat reservation, but it is listed on SBB app (Swiss train). I would like to book a family pass but haven’t done so yet. We will be travelling from the UK on a particular day: and on that day staying in France with friends who will only be able to meet us at the nearest train station at a reasonably early time in the day. Ie.  don’t want to waste time or money buying the Interrail pass before we know exactly which reservations are on offer and whether it suits. I have gone to the generic Eurrail / Interrail help & support page about how you do this but still can’t see how I can look up which seat reservations are available. Nothing comes up when I enter our dates. Help!I would prefer to use a helpful website than download a space and data consuming app. So no app recommendations, please. Queries: I want to know before booking the Eurail pass whether it’s worth buying the first / second class pass. Where can I do that? And see all the available seat reservations for the different travel legs and days, before buying a pass?  I’d like to know i

I want to go by bus from Murjek (Sweden, Norrland) to Kvikkjokk. The provider is Länstraffiken  Norrbotten , which is listed as participating by Interrail (www.interrail.eu/de/plan-your-trip/tips-and-tricks/trains-europe/railway-companies). But I can’t get a ticket: Kvikkjokk is not listed at all, for there is no railway station.

We have the Global Pass, our trips are all added to the pass. Tried to book seat reservation on PE train from Interlaken to Montreux on Eurail reservation page. The video showed very easy booking but not at all like that on their reservation site. Are we missing something?

Hi Everyone,  I will be traveling this summer from Copenhagen to Hamburg (Deutsche Bahn or DB), Hamburg to Strasbourg (DB), Strasbourg to Toulouse (DB + SNCF), and finally Toulouse to Barcelona (SNCF + R3). I have the Eurail Global pass. My question is, in DB and SNCF trains is seat reservation mandatory? In the Eurail application, it shows “reservation required” on most trains, which is strange, because when reading through the https://www.seat61.com/interrail-and-eurail-reservations.htm#eurail-interrail-reservations-service it seemed that except for some high-speed trains like TGV, etc seat reservation is not mandatory although is advised. One can just hop on, choose an empty seat and show the pass. I would hate to land in problems while traveling and pay hefty fines. It would be great if some of you could help me with your experience. Hiwe have used up our eurail travel days. We need to get from Venice St Lucia to Rome Termini tomorrow with 2 adults, 1 senior and 2 kids (age 7-10). Should I get another eurail pass (Italy only) or trenitalia pass (kids travel free) to get on the Frecciarossa to Rome? We may also consider going to Pompeii. then we can use the pass for Rome city to Rome airport? 

Hi there, I'm trying to get out of sofia, and my plan was to go to Bratislava. I guess the night sleeper from Bucharest to Budapest is the most suitable for this, but I cannot seem to find a way to book a seat or bed online, without paying for the whole ticket. I am scared that if I book it in the train station, it will be sold out. I tried OBB, db and CFR. It is for tomorrow. Help is very appreciated, thank you in advance! 

HiThis summer (July 25) I would like to travel from budapest to Brasov. I would like to take the train from 09:10 to 22:46However, when I want to reserve a seat via the interrail reservation site, it says that reservation is not possible. Through the interrail site, I don't see this train listed. But if I look a week earlier or a week later it is listed.If I look on the Hungarian booking site I see the train direct is listed. Is the direct train going or are there works in progress?Is it possible to buy the same train in advance in another way, since booking via the interrail site does not work (it says Prices unavailable) and via the Hungarian train company it is not possible to buy an interrail seat reservation.

Hi,I had bought seat reservation tickets for me and my travel companion for the Frankfurt - Arnhem route via the OBB site, only there is only 1 name on the ticket. Is this a problem? And if it is a problem what should I do now?

my app is stuck in a loop trying to activate the journey I wanted. it is stuck for hours and the app is not responding to any attempts to make it work. I have a photo of it but cannot send it here. 

Hi everybody, I’m new on this community.Maybe my question has already been asked I mean...but I try anyway.My daughter goes to Stockholm with Erasmus to study at the university. So we are planning a family trip to Sweden from France at the end of August.I understand (thanks to the different conversations and questions about that) that the global pass is required because it is just a round trip to Sweden.But when I'm looking for the best pass for my travel “Trouvez le pass ferroviaire le mieux adapté”, the one country is proposed! Maybe I didn't understand or didn't do something right, or is it just confusing?*Thank you in advance to confirm to myself, if the global pass is the good way, and if the request on the website  to find the good pass for the good trip is really confusing.Fabien

Hello! My family of 4 is going travelling on a London-Paris-Rome trip this summer and I know I need to book our reservations asap. I’m trying to decide on the Eurail Global pass vs. just buying individual tickets. I think all our routes will require supplements on a pass but I’m having trouble seeing how much those will cost so I can compare. Hi, we are travelling to Marseillan Plage in the summer via Paris with a one country pass for France.If we take the TGV from Mannheim to Paris we will have to pay until Forbach and if we take the ICE from Karlsruhe to Paris we have to pay until Strasbourg, right? Just wanted to make sure as this is the first time we are travelling by Interrail with a one country pass and I can’t seem to find this information anywhere on the Interrail site. Thanks,Annika

Greetings,Newbie here. Well, not really - I’m 76 so not quite so new.My wife and I will be traveling to Europe from the US. and the trip starts in one week. From the Eurail website, I have purchased two Global passes (15 days in two months), and several seat reservations where called for. My questions pertains to use of the Rail Planner app.Is it generally a good idea to have both passes on one phone, or for each of us to have our own pass on our personal phone? If you are not making the seat reservations on the app, can you move previously purchased reservations over into the app? Or is it better just to keep paper reservations and use those when boarding?  Thanks in advance!

Hello, I’m trying to book a seat reservation for EC 405 from Berlin Hbf (9.50 am) to Warsaw for August 1st  IC 107 from Warsaw (7.10 pm) to Budapest for August 2ndThey’re both available on PKP intercity website but they don’t show any interrail discount/seat reservation only. EC405 is shown on DB website but they say the reservation is impossible. I’d prefer to avoid booking via interrail website since it’s quite expensive (and they also say IC107 can’t be reserved on their website).  I was wondering if there’s any way to reserve a seat only via PKP or if you have any other advice on how to find these tickets.Thanks!
