Schwierigkeiten mit Mobile Pass / TGV Reservierung

Liebe Leute,ich brauche Hilfe und finde sie nicht. Meine Lage:Ich habe für uns als fünfköpfige Familie einen Global Pass (mobil) gekauft. Wir wollen von Deutschland nach Frankreich und wieder zurück fahren, vier Reisetage in einem Monat.Problem 1: Unser erster Reisetag soll am 28.07.2022 sein, so steht es auch für alle fünf Familienmitglieder im Mobilpass. Nun sagt das System aber, wir hätten nur noch drei von vier Reisetage übrig, obwohl wir noch gar nicht gestartet sind.Problem 2: Ich möchte - wie von interrail.eu empfohlen - über diese interrail-Webseite Sitzplatzreservierungen im TGV buchen. Aber es tauchen immer wieder Fehlermeldungen wie “your pass is invalid for this date” auf, dann bekomme ich nur die Möglichkeit nur für drei statt fünf Personen zu reservieren (und das bei wirklich allen Strecken, da können ja nicht überall nur noch drei Sitzplätze übrig sein) und schließlich heißt es, die Preise seien gerade nicht verfügbar, ich solle es später noch einmal versuchen. (Poland) web site and journey planner disagree on using pass on Koleje Wielkopolskie trains

On https://www.interrail.eu/en/plan-your-trip/tips-and-tricks/trains-europe/railway-companies, for Poland it says this;If I ask the journey planner online (or the app) using this https://www.interrail.eu/en/plan-your-trip/interrail-timetable?ol=OSTROW+WIELKOPOLSKI+%28POLAND%29&ov=005104590&dl=LESZNO+%28POLAND%29&dv=005104260&vl=&vv=&t=1656496800000&ar=false&rt=&tt=&mc=&mct=0 I get this. This train is operated by “Koleje Wielkopolskie Sp. z o.o.” which the web site does not say accepts the pass.Which is correct, the web site or the journey planner?I have a very vague memory that several years ago the pass could not be used on most local trains in Poland - i.e. that the web site is correct and the journey planner (and app) wrong.Thanks in advance.

1 Travel day, 2 geographically separate trips- is it possible?

Hi everyone,I am wondering if all train travel needs to be geographically connected in a travel day? I am going to travel from a rural-ish German train station to a small town in the UK and will do the Brussels-London leg by a bus service because I did not get a Eurostar reservation. Will eurail count this as two trips given that I will pop up in a completely different location to continue my trip, despite it being the same travel day? Also is there a way to make this one trip in the Railplanner app? I am a mobile pass holder. Thanks for any pointers!

Kids traveling - can they travel some parts with other relatives?

I am traveling with my kids so I am buying 2 adult passes and getting 2 free passes for my children.But there will be the time that my kids will travel some legs with my other relatives and not with us.How do we go about it? The other adults will have regular train tickets, can I just reserve seat for my kids?

Does it cost me more than one travel day if changing time at station is long and arrive the next day?

Hello!I was wondering if it cost me more then one travel days if I go from one place to another but I finish the train trip the next day?  So for example if I take the train today (Monday) from Heidelberg (Germany) to Bern (Switzerland). And I start the train journey at 11 PM and I arrive the next day around 5 AM due to the long changing time at a station, does it cost me more then one travel days?

Seat reservation problem Paris - Muenchen - Zagreb Glavni Kol.

Hello,We've been trying to get some seat reservations on the following trains on the 15th of July : Paris Est 15:55 -> Muenchen HBF 21:36 (TGV 9577) Muenchen HBF 22:18 -> Zagreb Glavni Kol. 08:32 (EN 50463)But it doesn't seem to work on the eurail site, reservations are always impossible, with various messages each time.What could be the cause ? Already full ?And I don't get how to buy only reservations on third party sites. How do we get out of this ?Thanks in advance Arthur

Reservation from France to Spain and vice versa not possible - prices unavailable

Hey,me and a friend of mine are going on an Interrail trip in a few days/weeks, and are now booking seat reservations for all the trains where this is required. We are planning on travelling from Montpellier in France to Barcelona in Spain, and then from Barcelona to Narbonne in France.For every other train, it was possible to book reservations beforehand either on the Interrail website itself or on the website of the local train station. However, even after trying repeatedly, that does not work. It only shows the following message:“Prices unavailable. No price results were found for this connection. It is possible thta all pass holder seats are sold out. Please try searching for another connection or check ‘More information’ and try other ways to book this seat reservation. If no pass holder seats are available anymore you need to buy a separate full fare ticket to board.”Now here is my question: How do I book these two reservations? Do I need to call the train company over the phone

Outbound- will change trains cost two travel days?

Hello all, I have been trying to find an answer to this but it is honestly too confusing.I will try to keep it short:  I have the 7 days within 1 month pass.I want to travel from Stockholm (home) to Berlin.In the rail planner I can take the train from Stockholm at 17 on a thursday, but I will have to change trains in Germany the next day (friday) before finally arriving in Berlin in the morning. Will this then deduct 2 travel days or 1 because I had to change trains on friday?

No reservation needed?

Hello! I’m planning my trip to Europe this summer (August).My travel plan goes like this:Paris > Gent (04/08/2022) Gent > Amsterdam (06/08/2022) Amsterdam > Dusseldorf (10/08/2022) Dusseldorf > Luxembourg (11/08/2022) Luxembourg > Strasbourg (12/08/2022) Strasbourg > Milano (14/08/2022) Milano > Florence (15/08/2022) Florence > Ancona (18/08/2022)In the Rail Planner app I see options for my routes where there is no reservation needed… Should I trust that? My main concern is the train from Strasbourg to Milano, it’s the biggest route…

How to get to Dax?

Hello, I’m totaly frustrated. I booked an Interrail Ticket thinking of traveling from Koeln to Dax on the 9th of July. I serched for all the trains and found them. After I bought the ticket I got to know that there are no seats left on the train from Paris to Dax on the 9th. No matter which time. Now I serched for hours and hours how to get to Dax. I’m so frustrated because there is no help anywhere and no answer on my mail to Interrail. Did I pay 250€ for nothing and can’t get to France on top? Is there someone with an idea what to do?Thanks!

Can I travel on a train that requires a seat reservation if I'm told at the station reservations aren't required? Is it possible the info on the app is wrong?

I’ve got an Interrail Global Mobile Pass. I want to travel from Ljubljana to Zagreb at 8.30am. The Interrail app tells me a seat reservation is required. However, when I tried to reserve a seat at Ljubljana station today, the lady told me seat reservations are not required for that journey. I asked if I could reserve a seat anyway, and she said that’s not possible as they don’t do any seat reservations on that train. Will I still be able to connect that journey using the app? Is it possible the information on the app is wrong or out -of-date?

Reservation problems - website is slow and stuck on every page. How to book?

Hi!  Has anyone have problems with the reservations at the moment? I’m planning a trip for next month (Amsterdam (Start) - Berlin - Prague - Vienna - Munich - Paris - Antwerpen - Amsterdam (finish)). I also have problem with the website, its very slow and sometimes it stuck on every page… Its kinda frustrating I can’t book. Any tips? Is it necessary to book a reservation or not?  Hopefully someone can help this girl out! 😀

I bought 2nd class reservations on Italian trains through interrail site and I received 1st class reservations that i cannot use.

A month ago, I bought 2nd class reservations on Italian trains through interrail site and I received 1st class reservations that i cannot use.I emailed support back then and added a message to a pre-existing thread on the same problem.  Since then I created a new topic on the problem and emailed support twice. I can see the issue in the knowledge base still open.My issue has progressed from a problem to be fixed, to an urgent request, and then to a request for a refund.After 1 month i have not had any reply from the interrail team.  what else can i do?

Pass cover numbers needed for bookings online

Hi there,  I’m trying make reservations for french TGV travel in August for a group of family and friends. The Eurail booking system says there is no availability. The B Travel website is showing availability though. The B-Travel website is asking for a pass cover number which I don’t have as we all have mobile passes.Can you provide these numbers please? Route from Zermatt to Chur

Hello everyone ! I'm travelling to Switzerland this summer and wanted to make the route from Zermatt to Chur from the regular train. My final destination is technically Zurich but I want to do the exact same route has the express glacier. I'm not sure if the app gives me the exact same route or it gives me the fastest route. Seat Reservation Arriving After Leaving

Hi there, My friend and I have reserved a seat for Paris to Barcelona for the 10th of July, but our paper reservations have not yet arrived. We are concerned they won’t arrived before 30th of June when we leave.  In this case, could you help us understand our best options? We are wondering if it is possible to have them printed at the station since we have already purchased them, or, if we can get them scanned by someone in Australia once they arrive and we print them in Paris while there. It’s a tricky situation - thank you for your help in advance! Dave

Accidental usage of travel days

Hello interrail, I have accidentally used two of my travel days even though I only ordered my interrail mobile pass today and haven’t used/travelled at all. I think I have accidentally checked my travel day twice, because of how unclear the mobile app is, and because of that, I lost two of my travel days out of my 10 day travel pass (see screenshot). Price unavailable on Eurostar

Hi community,First time travelling to Europe! I have the 7 day EU rail global pass and was trying to book tickets from London to Brussels for July 2 and Amsterdam to London for July 12. However, I am seeing “Price unavailable - No price results were found for this connection. It is possible that all pass holder seats are sold out…” for both dates.What are my alternatives? I’m hoping to not pay such a high price for separate Eurostar tickets while I have the EU global pass.. desperate for some help and advice. Thank you in advance!Gary

Exchange discount Global Pass

Hi, my name is Victoria. I bought a three months Global Pass for 50 % discount but I am now unable to fully use it. Therefore I wish to exchange it for a “4 days within 1 month” Global Pass.On the interrail page it says, that normal exchange and refund rules might not apply to tickets bought on sale. Has anybody had any experience with this or could anyone tell me if exchanges just work normally (full reimbursement minus 15 € exchange fee)?Best regards,Victoria
