 Hi there,I’ve just purchased a Eurorail global pass for 10 days in two months. I can’t seem to find a train on the euro rail app seat reservation from Berlin to Warsaw, Warsaw to Kraków, Kraków to Prague. They are extremely long journeys when I go to seat selection.Would it be better if I were to book individually through operators instead of the Eurorail app? As according to the app they are only 4ish hours - these on the app are saying 23+ hours.Some seats are not even available for purchase at this time. I don’t plan on travelling until October 12th, am I too early to book? Also, some of the places that I plan to go say that I “am good to go and seat reservation is not mandatory” do I need to even reserve a seat for extra money? Any advice would be so helpful. Dear community, I’m planning a trip in Italy in september and have already bought my pass. Now I want to make my seat reservations for some of my trips (e. g. Bari to Rimini on the 21st, starting 09:30). While the regular Interrail website and Trenitalia show the Frecciarossa train in question, I can’t make a seat reservation via the Interrail reservation site. I have also tried the ÖBB and DB booking systems, but to no avail. They only show regional trains that I wouldn’t need a reservation for. My first thought was that I’m looking too early, but on the Interrail website it says, that you can make reservations for Italy up to three months in advance (and in my case it’s only two). Do you have any ideas? Thanks in advance! ;)

Hi !We will be travelling in august with my friends. On 23/08 we are supposed to travel from Warszawa to Copenhagen. Our first train is Warszawa-Berlin. We booked our tickets with the Discover EU app and we’re supposed to take the 06:14-12:16 train from Warsazwa to Berlin. However, we need to make reservations for this train. The interrail website indicates that the reservation is not possible. The same goes for the DB websites which just says “reservation impossible”. However, the polish website indicates that it is possible to buy tickets (so I’m guessing there are still seats available for seat reservations).But when I want to make my reservation, I can’t find any button to book the reservation ONLY. The only discount I can find is the “junior/youth” one. Does someone know how we could still make our reservations? Thanks for your help :)

Hi!i wanted to book the nighttrain from prague to budapesy with my friends. However I could not find a place to reserve a place in this train.  Is there anyone who can help me? The CD website does not give me an option. thanks!

I need to return home to London on July 16, a couple of days early, but there are no available trains from Paris to London on 16 th and 17 th.  This leg of my journey starts in Zurich, can anyone suggest an alternative route that avoids Paris and  will take me back to London. Or if there are any other suggestions that would be welcome too!   also, is a night train an option?  thanks all!!! Felicia

I want to make a seat reservation that will cost 6 euro. But I will also have to pay 9 euro shipping costs. Is this normal? Do I have to pay 9 euro extra for every journey that requires seat reservation? Vincent

Do I need a seat reservation in order to travel on ICE High speed trains in Germany?

Hi there, I would like to know if someone has experience with the train Stavanger-Kristiansand in Norway. Because the trip doesn’t appear in the Interrail app, so I can’t add it to my trip. But according to the list of interrail, the train company VY is cooperating with interrail 🤷‍♀️So what should I do? 

Ist folgendes möglich ?An einem Reisetag vormittags von Italien bis  Österreich fahren , dann aber nachmittags die outbound Reise aus Deutschland nach Polen machen ? (Dazwischen für die Einreise aus Österreich nach Deutschland ein eigenes Ticket kaufen damit es keine Einreise ist.)Oder kann ich einfach durch fahren und es zählt trotzdem nur als outbound ? Ich will nicht  meine inboundreise und outboundreise beide dafür verwenden, weil ich inbound später noch brauchen werde.

I am having difficulties booking my trip from Barcelona to Sevilla but I have friends in Spain that could possibly help me by making a reservation at a Spain Railway station on my behalf. Does anyone know if RENFE allows this or if the Eurail card holder needs to be present at the station? 

Are you able to request to change the pass numbers  on seat reservations from TrenItalia (booked via Interrail)?

Friends, I purchased a 1st class pass. When I go to book a reservation because it’s required, I’m only allowed to purchase a 2nd class reservation. Two questions:  Does that mean 1st class is sold out?  If so, then how do I request a refund for my pass since I can’t really use 1st class if it’s not available?Many, many thanks!

Hey everyone ! I wanted to book my reservation for the journey Oslo-Bergen and vice versa. Somehow, I was not possible to get the reservation as an E ticket but only as a paper one which would be shipped to my home.. this would cost a ton !! Has anyone had this issue or could help me out ?Thanks a lot in advance,Clara

Hello: I would like to take train from Athens to Istanbul in around mid October. the route I found via seat61 is from Athens to Sofia and Sofia to Istanbul. Is the regular train service from Sofia to Istanbul still operational? How can I reserve seat, It doesn't show any schedule when reserving via eurail website?   I have a global pass so only need a reservation.  thanks

Hi everybody, me and my friend booked a seat reservation for the train Bergen-Oslo. It was supposed to arrive at our hostel (Hostel Montana, paper ticket..) but it never arrived. And the fact is that we didn’t get any email/receipt but we payed. now we have two options: to explain our situation on the train (but I don’t know if it’s a good idea) or buy another seat reservation (but as I said we’ve already paid and It’s unfair..)Can someone help us? Thanks in advance :))

HI guys, just read lots of posts about not being able to book in advance seats on trains going from France to Spain and back!We’re travelling this weekend but haven’t really planned out our journey yet. I thought that was the whole idea of the ticket. Does anyone have any up to date advice…..?

Traveling from Barcelona to Lyon, Oct 17,2022,    when I try to make the reservation in the page that is shipping details, when I select Spain as the country, I get this MSG “you order contains one or more paper tickets , based on our calculations, your order will not arrive on time. Please send your reservations to another address, such as Your hotel in Europe, or try booking at a European Train station”I’m arriving to Barcelona From Qatar Oct 15, the shipping address that I’m trying to Use is the hotel In Barcelona,Please advice 

Hi,I ordered paper reservation tickets for Oslo to Bergen to travel on 2 September and Bergen to Oslo on 4th September. The only option I had on the eurail website was to order paper tickets and wait for them to be delivered. The tickets never arrived and I think they were returned to their office, despite my address being correct on the order. In order to travel I had to book and pay again directly with the train company over the phone. I’ve tried contacting eurail for a refund on the original paper tickets but I have not been able to get a response. Any advice?

Is it mandatory to spend two of the six days in Italy (Venice/Ancona/Bari) or Greece (Patras/Igoumenitsa) on the 6-day Greek Islands pass? Or can the 6 days be used to stay only in the Greek Islands? 

Hallo zusammen!Ich möchte am 25.10. mit dem Nachtzug von Paris nach Narbonne reisen. Kann mir jemand sagen, über welche Seite ich den französischen Nachtzug (Schlafwagen) reservieren kann? Auf der Seite travel.b-europe.com finde ich den Zug nicht, da scheint es nur TGVs zu geben.Vielen Dank für eure Hilfe!Alena

My understanding is that the global pass is good for Turkey. However, I don’t see man cities in Turkey appear in the real planner app at all. For example,  Cappadocia (Turkey) in the planner at all, nor Kayseri which seems to be relatively close. Similarly, Izmir does not appear nor the rail station at Turan. When I put Istanbul in the station section, it does not show any destinations at all.  Can someone please explain how to do this or how this works? Thanks in advance.  

Travelling in Romania with a mobile pass seems extemely challenging. Is this known by Interrail? Did I miss any warnings by Interrail?Is it even possible?We are travelling with 3 kids, and tomorrow we want to use a day. 3 trains that do not need reservation according to interrail. Fingers crossed...

I’m new to interrailing. I am travelling with 2 young girls and we have booked tickets on the night train from Nice to Paris. I have just checked the tickets and it appears we are not sleeping together, the tickets are VOITURE 18 - PLACE 086, 81 and 92.  I booked them all together and the small print says if you book together you will seat together. This can’t be right. I can’t not sleep with my children. Any advice? 

Hello!A group of 6 of us have a week long trip going from London to Switzerland to Venice to Croatia. I am concerned with my booking. We have first class passes and a few instances along the trip it says “You're ready to boardYou can buy a seat reservation if you like but it's not required.”I am just looking to make sure that if I do not buy the seat reservation that I will be guaranteed a spot on the train. Or is it a better idea to just buy the seat reservations for all 6 of us. We just don’t want to be stuck somewhere and have that screw up our whole trip. Thank you!
