Hi,Looking to buy my senior pass now while there's 25% off, but am not 60 until March next year - although plan to use it in the summer 2026.Is it possible to buy now? Im 59 at moment.Thanks

HiI am planning a surprise trip for my wife. I want to get from Bern to Bologne. The planner says this will take 5+hours and takes us via zurich.i beleive there is a high speed train that is direct. Is this correct please? if so does the interail pass allow this and how do i get the planner to reflect this please? Thanks 

Hello - my first post here …..  I live in France and am thinking of buying the Senior 4-Day Global Pass under the current 25% discount.I will use it to travel as follows :One day will be : Paris to London and then London to ManchesterThen the return, also in one day : Manchester to London and London to ParisMy question is - can I do this or not? I will be on 2 trains in the UK twice on the same day - Lon/Mancs/Lon … but also the UK leg of the Eurostar each day ….I’m looking for a flexible ticket , that I can activate when needed anytime over the next year - this to be able to visit my elderly brother and spend a few days or up to a month with him as needed. The Interrail Global Pass seems to offer what I need - plus much more flexibility and a pleasanter journey than flying and a much better price.Thank you in advance for your adviceJulie  

Hello everyone, I am actually traveling but my trip will soon end. I planned to come back from Berlin to Avignon with two different trains: One from Berlin to Strasbourg on the 18th of December. And the second is from Strasbourg to Avignon on the 19th of December. I went to a train station to book my seats because I saw somewhere you could include both trains in your pass. Even if one is from France to France. My problem is the train from Strasbourg to Avignon doesn't appeared on my pass. I kept a day free on my pass especially in case a controller says something. But what else can I do ? Thank you in advance for your precious advices ! 

Travel plans early March 2026 from Paris Austerlitz to Narbonne overnight on 1st Cl. eurail pass. Method to book, find extra cost of private cabin. Does this Eurail Pass discount the cabin cost?

I bought my 4 day travel pass on December 6th. I intend to use it January 1, 3, 6, and 9. It states that I can use it within one month. Can I use it one month within purchase date or one month within the first travel day? 

Hello. I have a first global pass. I want to reserve a seat from Lyon Francce to Tolulouse Matabiu. I have tried throug snfc and trainline, but both include the cost of the tiket, but I need only the seat. Could someone give me an advice ? Thanks

My son is planning to purchase both of our flexi rail passes and make journey bookings, all on his device. How will I gain entry to trains, and what can I show inspectors? 

If we travel from London to Selhurst on Eurail Pass, do we need to book the train or just hop on?

Hello everybody,I am new in the community and first time in Interrail. I got the first class Global Pass, but in my reservation for 20 december I have to pay 8 Euros from München to Zürich. But I have seen, if I have the second class Global Pass I have to pay also 8 Euros. So, there is no difference. is this normal ?and If I do not reserve a seat, may I take a seat in the first class and the meals, or shoud I reserve ?Many thanksHola a todos,soy nuevo en la comunidad y primera vez en Interrail. Can I buy a pass months in advance

I am planning my trip to Europe after 14th December 2025 (the second Sunday). I need to reserve seats on some trains, but I can’t find any trains after that date. When will the new timetable be updated, and when will I be able to make reservations?

I paid for a seat yesterday.However, I was notified that the purchase was too late, but the money was still deducted EUR22When I arrived at the station, the staff asked me to pay EUR20 for a seat. 

Hi, I have booked a train from Vienna to Krakow through OBB website, with Global Pass discount and paid for the seat reservations. Trouble I am having is that the train I booked through OBB (depart Vienna 1210 on 18th December) isn't showing in the rail planner app.My question is how/what do I need to do to ensure I am able to board the train and add it to my Eurail Pass?Thanks, 

Hello 👋,I’m planning a trip to Poland this summer and one of my train is provided by die Länderbahn which is a train company but I can’t find if the train is included in the global pass or not. Can someone help me please ? 

Hello everyone, just now I was trying to book seat reservation for a train from London to Edinburgh in July. The system didn’t show any availability because July is still too far away. So I tested with an earlier date just to see how the reservation system works. I put in a random date and followed the steps by selecting a random train and a random seat type. (I didn’t really understand the differences among all the seat types) Then I clicked continue, the next thing it shows my booking is completed, and it also says on the page “you can’t amend or refund this booking”. I couldn’t find any options to cancel or delete this order as it was only for a test. Does anyone know what I can do in this situation?Thank you in advance.🙏 

I live in Saarbrücken and want to purchase a France Rail Pass to travel to Bordeaux. I'm not sure whether I can use the pass for the Forbach–Paris segment of the ICE/TGV route from Saarbrücken–Forbach–Paris. (I know the Saarbrücken–Forbach segment requires a separate ticket.)Besides the cost of the pass itself, what other fees do I need to pay? (TGV/ICE reservation fees? Seat reservation fees?)I'm new to rail passes—thanks in advance for any answers.

Hello. I have bought my pass and am now trying to book train and seats but struggling. We are travelling from Cardiff in July 2026 to London and then around France. When I add my route in the planner no trains appear so I don't understand how I get to see the trains or book seat reservations. Do I need to activate my journey in the pass section. Hi!So, I just had a run-in with an inspector on the Deutsche Bahn which has resulted in a fine being sent to my home.I live in Germany but I'm from the UK. Recently I had to travel to the UK twice in quick succession and did the "in between" bit by Interrail, like this:- Day 1: UK- Day 2: UK -> Germany (inbound)- Day 3: Germany -> border (outbound)- Day 4: Belgium -> UKToday is day 3. The inspector told me with total confidence that I could not use my outbound journey after my inbound journey and has therefore sent a charge to my home for a ticket today. I showed him the Interrail T&Cs but he refused to accept that.I think I already know that he is wrong and so I think I should be able to appeal this. The Interrail site is pretty clear. But it's a lot of money and I'd like some peace of mind. So here are my questions:- Am I definitely in the right?- How do I go about appealing this charge?- Can anyone report success with this kind of appeal?Thanks in advance!Simon.

Hi,I am to buy an Interrail Italy mobile pass.I note that many local trains are not on my railplanner App.I will be in Rimini and as an example my app only shows one train to Ravenna each day at 21:29. There are many teains, around 1 train per hour through the day.So, if I were to use the 08:43 Rimini to Revanna as my first train of the day, and it is not on the Railplanner app how would I validate that days travel please??Thank you.Peter

J'ai acheté unPass Interrail Global Plus Senior Classe 2 pour mon papa. Mon papa est résident français et de nationalité française.Nous avons téléchargé l'application. Nous avons ajouté le pass à l'application et entré le numéro de carte d'identité.Nous avons associé un voyage à notre pass. Au moment de réserver les places assises, nous n'avons eu que l'option eurail. Pas d'option interail.Mon père étant français et résident en France, nous devrions avoir l'option interail.Que puis-je faire ?

Hello everyone, I hope this question has not been asked too many times - if so, I cannot find it :// My first travel day will be December 4th. From what I have read, I then have to activate my pass tomorrow, December 3rd. I have a 1-month, 5 travel day mobile pass. I have reserved seats for my last trip for January 3rd. Now I am panicking that my pass might only be valid until January 2nd, since I already activate it on December 3rd. Can anyone help me out here with telling me what my last day is? Thank you Interrail experts <3

Hi All,I and my spouse are planning a Europe trip for about 12 days covering Switzerland (6 days), Paris (3 day) and Amsterdam (2 days) with trains as primary mode of transport I am confused between which pass to buy does Euro global pass give discounts in Swiss and should it be active example I take a 4 day pass in 15 days can I keep 4 days days for Paris and Amsterdam or do I need to activate pass for days in Switzerland as well. Also outside of Switzerland bulk of the journey will be between Amsterdam - Zurich and Zurich - Paris does it make sense to buy a Euro Pass?Best Regards,Prasanna

We are travelling to Europe in Feb/Mar 2026. We are based in Cham, Switzerland and plan on visiting Rome, Florence, Milan, Munich, Paris and then some smaller trips from Cham/Zurich accross the border to Germany etc. We arrive 19 Feb and leave Mar 20. My questions are:Would it be worthwhile getting the Eurail? Most of our travel to tourist attractions will be via train. Would a 1 month pass cover Feb to Mar or would that count as two months? I dont understand the concept of “travel days” - can someone please explain.Apologies if these are dumb questions but this is our first time abroad. ThanksSavanna
