I have noticed that there aren't trains between Klatovy - Sušice  and noticed that with Sušice there aren't any connections i asume this is some info that is not added to the app? Because on the Czech site those stations do have a connection and Sušice has connections to other places too so I asume i just need to add them manuál? 

I unfortunately made a mistake planning my trip. I started my plan on friday within Germany. Since I didn’t realize I can‘t just travel within my home country I had to use the outbound-trip (without actually leaving the country). Now I want to actually leave Germany tomorrow and am afraid that the pass won’t work because I only have the inbound ticket left, but the journey is outbound… does it matter? 

So - largely thanks to the community I enjoyed three weeks travelling with my five day pass, which of course has now been used up.The question now is how do I plan the next trip? Do I delete the app from my phone, start from scratch and buy the next 5 day trip with a new Passnumber etc in order to activate the pass? Basically the same procedure as when I first got the app and activated the pass.Or if I’m logged in, will the site will recognise that I already have the app with its Passnumber staying the same and I just need to buy and add another 5 day trip to it?  As ever, thanks in advance for your help

My wife and I have the 1st class Global-15-days-in-2-months pass on mobile app and are using a travel day to go from Vienna to Bozen, so its quite a long ride at 6.5hrs.  I got seat reservations thrrough Eurail, and OBB came back with separate seats!  This is quite annoying and not how we wanted to start out a 2 month trip, with riding separately through the alps!!!I checked the OBB site and for the exact trip we selected in the Eurail app there are other seats together in 1st class, I just grabbed them for €3/each from OBB.  Eurail doesn't seem to want to refund me.  Not only that, but getting the reservation through Eurail costs over 3x than getting them directly from OBB, and that 3x premium means we cannot be guaranteed to ride together?Anyhow, am I going to have to fight this for all 15 of my travel days in this 2 month pass???  How about on the Freccerossia?  Or is it just possible to tell Eurail to create a travel day and give me a barcode I can give to the train inspectors, and

Hello travellers ;)I currently have a general season ticket for my country (Switzerland) (AG/GA) which I renew every month. I have just signed up for a 10-day/2-month Global Travel Pass.So, I have more or less complete coverage of the train networks in my country and neighbouring countries. I have read some unclear and frankly laborious explanations here regarding this kind of ‘problem’, which sometimes advise buying a ticket for the journey between two ‘border’ stations. Huh?But if, for example, with the ‘EC 97’ train from Zurich to Munich,the two border stations are:ST. MARGRETHEN SG (Swiss station)Bregenz Bahnhof (Austrian station)So...I tried buying a ticket between these two stations with OBB, indicating that I am- retired (well, yes, everyone gets older ;) )- I have a General Abonnement (Swiss AG/GA) (1st class)- I have an Interrail Global Pass (1st class) Well, guess what... their system tells me that there are no tickets available because... I am planning to visit Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Hungary in September with a 7-day Eurail Pass. I'm planning to take a train from Budapest-Kelenfold to Wien Hbf with a Eurail Pass.On the Eurail website, it says that a seat reservation is required, but when I checked on the EuroCity website, it shows that reservations are not necessary and I wasn't able to book a seat there. On the Eurail site, I can still make a reservation. Should I book a seat in advance, or is it fine to travel withoutone？

When I tried to book a seat reservation for the train from Prague to Budapest, the website displayed the message:"Not available from Interrail.eu. This seat reservation can't be booked on our website.Check 'More information' for other ways to book."Could you please advise me on how I can make this seat reservation?

Hello,I was checking for seat reservations from Innsbruck to Bolzano on the OBB website. Do I need to check the box I only want seat reservation? If I check the Box, it shows 3 euros and if not the ticket shows 13 euros. Thanks

I am indian citizen, currrently living in netherlands for 6months (Onsite visit)& i have netherlands resident permit card for validity till December 2025.Am i eligible for Interrail youth travel pass?, as i wish to travel across europe over weekends.

I’m a Canadian, taking a long train ride through Europe to Greece. I’m going there on the eastern route through the Balkans, and back through Italy. I reserved a sleeper on the Dacia Express from Vienna to Bucharest on Oct 18. It gets me to Bucharest on Oct 19 afternoon,  I hotel overnight, and the next day Oct 20 I travel to Sofia. Again I overnight in a hotel. The next day Oct 21I would normally take a 5 hour bus to Thessaloniki. But Oct 21-23 there is no 5hr bus, only a 13 hour milk run to Thessaloniki. My question is, is it possible to change the reservation to one day earlier. It’s a paper reservation, mailed to me in Canada, which I haven’t even received yet.It being off season, would they perhaps let me go a day earlier if I arrived a day earlier?

So I would like to travel in the Balkans But it look like in Bosnia trains and it’s tough if you go down the coast of Croatia is there somebody that have a good travel map when you travel this places to know with the train

Hi everyone, I want to travel from Paris to Mannheim with my Interrail Pass, and they say on my trip that it is needed to book a seat (started from 21 euros). The only thing i see is on the deutsche bahn website, where i can book a seat for only 5,5 euros. Is it the one i should book or should i see on another website?  Thank you

Is there a direct train from Munich to Prague?

Good evening rail community I am planning to travel from Budapest to Bratislava on Sunday 19 October In the process I want to tick off another country visited so I thought it may be fun to make a very quick stopover in Bratislava The 08:12 to 10:44 trip from Budapest to Bratislava (Hlavna Stanica station) looks fine. Then will probably move on to Prague from Bratislava 12:26 to 16:39 (Regiojet) or the 13:58 to 18:18 (Metropolitan). What would you recommend between these two choices? Then I also need recommendations for the the short stayover.  Will probably want to keep onto my suitcase here.  Or is there left luggage storage available)? Also would you recommend reserving seats with  first class pass? Thanks!

I travel by train with my bicycle. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to get a place for a bicycle on a long-distance train at short notice. However, if I only take regional trains to get home (I am coming from France and need to get to Berlin), it could take me several days.Is this possible with an Interrail ticket? How do I show this?

Hello Eurail Support, My wife’s Eurail Global Pass (Pass reference: ZLPMYZ, 1st class Adult) was activated incorrectly. The 4th travel day was set to 26 August 2025, but in reality she did not use the pass that day. It should have been activated on 27 August 2025 instead. Now the system shows all 4 travel days as used, but she only traveled 3 days. Could you please check this error and restore one travel day? Thank you very much for your support. 

I made a seat reservation using the Eurail app before planning my trip. I'd like to know how to add train seat reservations to my travel plans after the fact.This is my first time using the Eurail Pass and app. I'm from Japan.

To the Eurail Community,I recently returned from a trip to Europe using a Eurail pass but was unfortunately charged a penalty fare of 50 euros when travelling over the French/German border on a train from Strasbourg to Offenburg. I’m still not 100% what the issue was but I had either not activated the day ticket before boarding the train or had activated the day ticket but had not validated the journey that I wanted to make by using the little toggle button in the app. Has anyone had a similar experience of this with an Interrail/Eurail pass and did anyone get reimbursed?I wonder also whether people think the ticket inspector who charged me was a bit unfair? It seems she could have allowed me to get off at the next stop so I could select and activate another later journey going to the same destination. We had the conversation in French (not my first language) and I felt she was very tough and inflexible with the situation. Not a nice experience and poor customer service from my point o

Hi, I’m new to the Eurorail pass (not new to traveling, just have never gotten a Eurorail pass before) and plan on going to France, Switzerland and Italy in December 2025 (with a day trip to London and a day trip to Strasbourg some of the days).  I’m assuming it’s probably better to get a Eurorail pass for this trip, instead of buying one-way tickets between each destination (some destinations are day trips too).  Is this correct?  Any tips?  We will be in Paris for a week and then going to Switzerland and then Italy the remainder of the trip.  Thanks!

My country of residence is Germany and I am planning the trip around IT and some other parts, but will start on Amsterdam. From Amsterdam On the first day I would use my outbound travel from my country or wish to do so. But then from Amsterdam I am heading to IT, the easiest and fastest way is to pass through Germany once again. If I do that, would I use my inbound ticket already? In general am I permitted to do this or how does it work? Could someone provide their experience? 

I’m planning a trip in September 2026 with my wife to Travisio in north east Italy in September 2026.  We would like to have two stops on the way there and also two on the way back.  We would be leaving from Lichfield in Staffordshire and travelling through London and leaving on a Thursday, ideally getting to Brussels for early afternoon on the first day then travelling onwards for a second night somewhere around halfway between Brussels and Travisio.  Then travelling onto Travisio on the third day, arriving in late afternoon.  Does that sound reasonable and any suggestions on routes and/or stopovers, please?  Also, could we do the trip with only one overnight stop, please, and so only have a four day pass in the month?  For the return journey, we would like to have the final night in Paris.  Any suggestions for routes and stopovers that that, please? Finally, does it make sense to buy the passes in January during the winter sale?Many thanks, Colin.

I have a query with Romanian Railways CFR  Calatori, but I am getting very confused answers. Here is the query trail:Dear Sirs,I have a ticket from Sibiu to Medias for 2 people on the 17:32 arriving 19:01 on 8th September on train R2567.  Ticket ID 29739615However when I look on your website at the timetables this train does not appear, only the R2569 at 19:35 arriving 21:07I need to be in Medias to catch the sleeper train to Wien which leaves Medias at 21:37 and I am worried about the short handover.Is the 17:32 running that day? If not, is my ticket valid on the 19:35?
