I’m trying to book a ticket from Munich to Verona on 12th September. The Man in Seat 61 gives trains which includes an 11:32 from Hbf but when I go onto the DB website it’s an 11:02 from Hbf and all the other trains that (per DB) day go from Munich Ost not Hbf. On OBB website they ALL go from Hbf. They’ve all got different departure times as well although they have the same train numbers.I have booked a reservation on OBB as it gives the trains and times I want but I’m now worried that perhaps OBB have not got the up-to-date trains, my train may leave from a different time and station and that my seat reservation won’t be valid.Who should I trust? Any ideas?

Just spoke to someone who went by train to Domodossola, Italy and found the trains not operating and the station deserted. How can I establish whether they’re operational again?

I am trying to book my seat reservation for the 12th-  tomorrow’s train from Paris to Amsterdam at 10:25 am from the Nord station. It is not letting me and in fact gives no options for this route at all, please help! So confused

We want to buy two seats for a ferry from Athens to Santorini on Wednesday, August 13th, and we don't know how to do it. Even though we entered all the information, the discount isn't showing.We already purchased the Greek Islands Pass, but the cost is still very high.We urgently need help. Thank you very much.

It appears as if I have made all of my train reservations with Eurail, but I am a resident in Europe and purchased an Interrail pass. Are these tickets invalid? Can I still use them? Is there anything that I can do?????????

Dear fellow travellers, this is the first time I am using interrail. I have a flexi ticket for 4 days. I managed to book a seat on eurorail from London to Brussels (June 20th 2025 at 15.04). I paid and received the seat reservation. My understanding I have to add this trip to “my trip” on the app. But this train is not showing. Can I still travel with the seat reservation and somehow activate my day ticket on the app? Thanks in advance for the advice.

Hi all,I’m still trying to plot a route between Vienna and Zagreb over 2 days. I have been advised Graz but would prefer to be closer to Zagreb for a quick train in and car collection (meeting friends in Croatia) in the morning. I will be travelling from next week on an Interrail pass. Officially, it appears from the website that my iPhone is no longer supported by Interrail (it cannot be updated to iOS 16, which appears to mean that my Rail Planner app can no longer be updated). However, I did not notice until now (actually, it’s possible my phone was still supported when I bought the pass!): I still have the app and it still works just fine. I was able to add my pass and activate it, and QR codes are showing up as expected.The only issue I have encountered so far is that the schedule is not always up to date (e.g., Eurostar trains are not showing up at all), so that I am having to add some journeys manually (which, anyway, I have had to do in the past as well, even with up-to-date app versions). This probably reflects the fact that it’s an old version of the app.Do you think there is any risk that the QR codes generated by my app might not scan or be considered invalid? (I cannot tell how old my app version

I am looking to travel in Late October, so within 90 day booking window, and when I search reservations for trains from Madrid to Caceres, I see the train I want is available and reservations can be booked, but when I log in to purchase, they are no longer available and I get a message “No Price Results were found, Passholder reservations may be sold out”I have tried different browsers and even tried rail Europe (no results found for this route) and Happy Rail (no prices found). Can any one identify my problem and have a resolution?

Hello, just a question about the 5 day pass: Can I choose the days during which to travel? If I understood well during a 2 weeks trip I can take a train only 5 times? Thanks a lot  

We are traveling around Europe in October 2025 : Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Luxembourg, Belgium Netherlands. Several of the journeys have transfers and I am using 20 min as a filter. My question is what is a safe amount of time to allow for transfers?

I have uploaded my EURail Global pass in my mobile phone Rail Planner App.I was creating My Trip to connect to my EURAIL Global pass.By mistake I created a journey on 14th August in stead of 14th September.How do I delete my 14th August journey or modify it? Regards 

I will be travelling in Scandinavia in September and got a 15 day Interrail pass. I will probably downgrade it to 10 days due to travel plan changes. However I have already booked seating reservations for trains in Sweden via SJ stating the pass number of my 15 day pass. In the reservation in the App it also states my pass number and there is no button to change it. Is it possible to just change the pass number on my reservations without paying extra?Thanks in advance for your help!

How do book an overnight sleeper compartment for two from Prague to Budapest?

I am travelling tomorrow from Lyon to Nijmegen, but I have huge troubles finding a route. All the high speed trains towards Bruxelles from either Lyon or Paris are fully booked. Now I realize that is my mistake by not booking in advance. However, there are some other routes available but they just don’t pop up (for example Lyon-Paris-Lille-Bruxelles). If I would filter on no seat reservation, I am taking a crazy route that takes ages, so this does not work either. Is there any way to find the fastest route using the tool so that it only shows me trains that actually still have Interrail seats available? I think it is quite annoying that it does not show whether a route is even possible… Thanks in advance!!

I have a rail pass, and am trying to find a train from Milan to zermatt. Nothing comes up on here, but I have found Milano central-Brig, and then brig to Visp, but can’t find the Visp-Zermatt leg except for on the train line site for another $100. Before I pay another $100 on top of my pass, is there anything else I can do on here? 

Hello everyoneI am exploring the option of using Interrail to travel from the UK to Switzerland for a week with my two kids (7 and 15). I know you get 1 Outbound and 1 Inbound journey. But where does the Outbound journey end? We need to travel into London to leave on the Eurostar. Do I book a pass for 3 countries (UK, France, Switzerland) or for 1 (Switzerland) which includes the out- and inbound journeys? I have trawled the community, but not found a similar discussion. Apologies, if it should be easy and obvious, I am brand new to this thing. Thanks in advance.Dani

I am trying to plan my trip using the InterRail trip planher, but I have already booked a few trains direct--and may find it advantageous to book more trains direct. But i cannot see a way of adding rail bookings to  the rail planner unless you actually book them thorugh the planner. Is there a way to add pre-booked trips/trips booked eklswehere to the Trip Planner??

 HiI am travelling from Australia.I want to travel from Lake Como S.Giovanni (Italy) to Interlaken OST via Luzern (Switzerland).I have a First Class Eu rail Pass. I have purchased reservation from  Lake Como S.Giovanni to Luzern on Euro City 178. However I am unable to reserve a seat on PE 2928 LUZERN-INTERLAKEN EXPRESS (Panorama Express) departing at 1406 from Luzern on EUrail Trip Planner.I am getting the following message:“Not available from Eurail.comThis seat reservation can’t be booked on our website. Check 'More information' for other ways to book.” Please help.Regards  

Hi Interrailers,I added a journey to ‘my trip’ which won’t delete when I click-hold on the journey (I’m only given the option to ‘view details’). This is only happening with this particular journey: I’m able to click-hold other journeys in the same trip and am given the option to delete these. It’s just one specific trip that won’t delete. I’m due to travel in September and the reason I need to delete thisparticular trip is that I erroneously selected an August date. At some point after this, I activated my pass but have since deactivated it to try and delete this August trip. Could the post-August activation date be preventing me from deleting this journey?It’s not a big deal, just annoying as it adds a journey that I won’t be making.Thanks, 

Hello, I'm currently on the train with my friends, starting Interrail with my Interrail Global Pass, which I got through the DiscoverEU program. I can't find a way to show the QR code for my pass to the ticket inspector. It doesn't appear in either the DiscoverEU app or the Interrail Planner app. This is very serious and worrying, as I'll have to show my pass on all the trains I've already booked, and it won't let me enter it on my phone, either in the DiscoverEU app or the Interrail Planner app. For more context: I originally had my pass on the DiscoverEU app, but in order to make train reservations, it asked me to enter my pass on the Interrail Planner website, where I made all my reservations. And right now, I can't enter the pass on my phone in the DiscoverEU app. I have my pass code and all the confirmation and activation emails, and everything I've done with DiscoverEU so far.

Sorry, another question. My husband and I are travelling together. I originally added the 2 passes to my phone and read somewhere that you can move one to another phone once it’s enlivened. I just tried this and the system is asking me questions like ‘do you still have the old phone’ and it’s asking me to deactivate the pass I want to move so which is it??Thanks very much!Dunja

Hi! We’re looking to travel from Matera to Rome via Interrail pass end of September this year. We have a one country interrail pass. There only seems to be one route available on the planner (which doesn't seem right?) … and it’s saying you can’t book the reservation through interrail. Does anyone know how we can do it or the best and easiest way? do you HAVE to book reservations? Any help or advice gratefully received! Georgia 

I finally understand the difference between trips and journeys, but I can't work out how to produce my ticket.
