From Warszawa (Poland) to Vilnius (Lithuania) is a seat reservation mandatory, but it is impossible to book it via Interrail in general for Lithuania. The ticket overall would cost about 30€. Is it possible to only buy the seat reservation at the train station in Warszawa? Same problem for Vilnius to Riga (latvia).From Riga to Tallin (Estonia) there is no mandatory seat reservation, so it should be possible to use the Interrail pass as usual? 

I have a eurail pass and I am trying to book a train from Vienna to Krakow on August 17th.  Yesterday it said I could not reserve a seat until 60 days before so today I tried to book and it said it could be full.  All of the routes are showing that on the Eurail website.  Is there anything I’m not understanding and how can I reserve this seat?  Any advice is greatly appeciated.

This is our first trip to Europe and the first for train travel.  We would like to see the most scenic route and are in no particular hurry.  We have a Eurail pass.

I want to learn how train baggage weight policy.  So, how much weight can I take on the way there or back? Are there any restrictions on trains regarding this? I'll probably take one large suitcase and a 40-liter backpack on the way there, but I might take more on the way back.  Also, regarding train routes, there's a train from Türkiye to Bucharest that I'll be taking, and from Bucharest there's a train to Budapest. However, my destination in Hungary is Gyor. If there are any friends who live in Hungary and use trains, or who use trains on routes in that region, I would appreciate their comments.

I have a purchased Eurail pass with provision for first class seating.  Do Seat Reservations need to be made through Eurail or can they be purchased thru DB, SNCF, Rail Europe, etc? If so, details please. Also, Eurail shows seating reservations are not open for 5 of my 7 legs of travel; however, Rail Europe shows seating reservations are open for all. Why the difference; is there a remedy on Eurail? 

I’d like to know whether, if I buy the ‘One Country’ pass for Slovenia, the Paris–Ljubljana journey can be booked using the pass, or whether I need to book it separately. I’m considering either a pass with 4 journeys per month or one with 6 journeys, depending on whether I can make a return journey from my country of residence.

Hello, I am from ROMANIA, CLUJ NAPOCA municipality. If I bought a subscription with a 15% discount on March 15th, I think it is still valid if I want to leave ROMANIA for Vienna, ROMA PARIS. It says that it must be activated within 11 months, so I hope I don't have any problems in August.

Eurostar is at pass qouta and will be for serval more days. I need to meet up with family for another trip in toulouse but now can't as no seats are available. The no reservation needed route takes 25 hours with 11 changes with an overnight stay at the station. Are there any other more reasonable routes to tolouse that aren't sold out, willing to take almost any other route.

I have been previously able to access the LTG Link site to book seat reservations from Vilnius to Warsaw. However, the LTG Link site seems suddenly to have decided to not allow access from Australia. Does anyone know if this is temporary, seasonal (with the high season approaching), or an IT fix I’d need to find locally (in Australia - eg using a VPN or similar)? I was hoping to book a couple of remain legs of our trip in Lithuania next week when I believe bookings open and don’t want to miss out on seat reservations, especially as some trains only run once per day.

Hi, I want to travel from Germany to Sweden. My Home Land ist germany. The train always goes through Denmark. Do I need a Global Pass for this, or is a Country Pass sufficient since I won't be getting off in Denmark? thank you! xoxo Sandra

How easy is it to exchange the order for paper passes (site now says “shipped” but offers no tracking) to mobile passes? I am worried the paper passes won’t arrive in time for our departure, USA to Poland.We paid over $653 (full price, no sale) for 3 first class inter-Poland train tickets.

I am planning to visit Madrid for a single day to see Parque Warner. My plan is to arrive from Leon at Chamartin station in the morning. Change to a Cercanías train to Atocha. Here I will drop of my luggage at my nearby hotel and immediately go back to Atocha Station. Then I will take another Cercanías to Pinto Station, where a bus will take me to Parque Warner.When Parque Warner closes around midnight, I need to go back to my hotel. I will take a bus back to Pinto. Here I will take the last train to Atocha at 23:58.My question is how do I pass the gates at the Cercanías stations. The first train at Chamartin is not a problem. I can use the QR-code at my seat reservation from the connecting train.Can I use the same QR code again at Atocha? Or is it single use? Otherwise I hope I can make the staff open the gate for me.But what about Pinto station at 23:58? My QR-code will no longer be valid. Will there be any staff to help me at this time of the day?Is it possible to get a paper-ticket

Hi all. I have submitted a request to support but am getting nervous as I’ve read they can be quite absent and I’ve been unable to find a phone number. My husband and I are traveling to Europe in mid November, and I purchased 2 Eurail mobile passes during the sale in March. I just now looked at the app on my phone, and can see the passes are described as “Continuous Pass: 15 days”. I’m totally freaking out, as I thought I purchased “Flex Pass: 15 days”. I’ve gone back into my emails, and absolutely nowhere on the invoice does it clarify that it was the continuous passes that I purchased instead of the flexi passes. It also says on the email that because I bought them during a promotional period, I am unable to exchange beyond 7 days of purchase. I’m really annoyed, because if the invoice had actually specified what I’d purchased, I would have realised within the 7 days that I had purchased the wrong tickets! I know that similar questions have been asked, but I am still confused. If I want to travel on a train that does not require a seat reservation do I just rock up on the day and show my global pass?

I am looking to travel end of July - we are a group travelling on a mix of Interail and Eurail from the UK to France and then within France. Is it too late to try to make this trip with interail / eurail? Do you think I will have a problem finding seats in trains (including TGV and Eurostar) for 6 people? (and preferably seating together)? How much does the seat reservation with eurostar costs? Am I right that I need to buy the Global pass or global pass plus because I start in the UK? 

We need seat reservations for Budapest to Cluj Napoca in two weeks time. MAV Hungary website. Repeated attempts on MAV Hungary website that Interrail links to have failed. We arrive in Budapest 36 hours before so would like to have the reservations before we set out on our trip.

I bought my ticket through the mobile app and somehow the ticket receipt shows a seat, but I didn’t pay extra and I thought it would be paid from my own money. Hello! I will be staying with my family of 4 in Interlaken this July. We will all have an Interrail pass (1st). I’m sure I read before about passes being used to get boat trips Lake Thun and Interlaken. Does anyone know if this is the case and if you need to book in advance or how you go about this? Any recommendations much appreciated!!

My family with 2 children will have an afternoon to spend in Lucerne (4 hours roughly) and an evening in Zürich (again, around 4 hours). In both cases we will be near the main station. Any suggestions for things to see or do please?
