activation

I have just bought interrail tickets for May 2024 two adults two kids. I want to activate passes asap in order to reserve Eurostar seats, however my children don't have passports yet (obviously they will when we travel). Is there a way to activate/reserve seats before they have passports? Worried they will all be gone by the time we receive passports!

Train back to my homecountry

Hello,there’s a thing that I haven’t quite understood.When can I take my trip back home?Does it work automatically?Me and my friends are going to use up 4 whole days of our pass. We eant to take the outbound journey on the fifth day. Can it be done? Or do we have to take a night train for it to count?Thank you

Why are all TER busses and trains unavailable on a route

Trying to book a train or bus from Montmelian to albertville on 7 Dec, but nothing is available?The same form Albertville to Bourg St Maurice station on 8 Dec.Is there something happening on these lines? Surely there must be an alternative?

ich kaufe ein Ticket für jemand anders. Ich muss dazu allerdings eine, in dem Fall meine Emailadresse angeben, ich nehme, sie dient für die laufenden und aktuellen Infos für den Reisenden auch während der Reise. Jedoch muss die Emailadresse nach dem Kauf geändert werden. Geht das? Denn dann kann ich das Ticket quasi als Überraschung besorgen. Bitte um Auskunft, da der Bot eigentlich keine differenzierten Antworten hervorbringt, auch wenn die Frage umformuliert wird. LG

Kolding - Ostrow Wlkp - Kolding

Hi, I tried to byu a ticket for 2 adulsts and 1 child , 6 yo, from Kolding to Ostrow Wklp in Pl and retur.I tried with dsb.dk they don`t sell tickets to Poland. Then I tried with to buy with pkp.pl and they don`t sell tickets to Dk. Then I tried with db.de and they only sell to Franfurt an Oder, altso the border with Pl. I even called 2 private companies selling tickets in Pl and they could not find anything.I am sure that there train from Kolding to Hamburg, then to Berlin then to Poznan then Ostrow Wlkp.But how to byu such a ticket, anyone could help?

Adding Journeys to Moble Pass With NO Internet Connection?

I have added more than one journey to my Trip for the day and I want to wait until I arrive at the train station to decide which train journey to take and there is no internet (WIFI) access available at the station. Can I add a journey to my Pass without internet access?

5 Day Gobal Eurail Pass and ferry

Confusion here: I read FREE ferry deck passage off the EURail benefits portal and booked a reservationhttps://benefitsportal.eurail.com/benefits/attica-group-greece-italy-superfast-ferries-in-cooperation-with-anek-lines/Global Pass holders are entitled to:International Lines:Free air seats or dormitories (where available) for 1st class Pass holders and free deck passage  for 2nd class Pass holdersDomestic Lines:30% discount on economy class:*The 30% discount is applicable only if holders have already completed a crossing in the Adriatic Sea routes with SUPERFAST FERRIES & ANEK LINEI booked a superfast ferry without believing it would use 1 of my 5 travel days. Nationality and type of pass were corrected(I’m not GB nor Interrail) after the reservation had been created by Superfast.It says I used a discount so if this was an interrail pass I allegedly wouldn’t use a travel day. However, it’s a Global EURail pass. No response from EURail and Superfast is unable to help. Ideas?

Hallo zusammen, Hier ist ein absoluter Neuling !Wir wollen demnächst vom Norden Deutschlands nach Verona und haben dafür einen Globalpass für 4 Tage besorgt. ( Kürzeste Zeitspanne im Pass und günstigste Variante vgl DB)Die Verbindung geht über Berlin und München. (eigentl.13h) Umstiegszeiten 1h +Was passiert, wenn wir aus nicht eigens verschuldeten Gründen am outbound day noch in  München "festsitzen" und nicht mehr nach Österreich oder Italien weiter kommen. Danke im Voraus

Border railway stations (France/UK – France/Belgium)

Hi there!I live in the South of France and wish to use the remaining travel days of my Interrail Pass to go either to Belgium or the UK but I’ve already use both my inbound and outbound trips.I wonder if there is an easy way to find the most suitable rail stations at the French border so that I can split the trip to pay the French part and use the Pass for the foreign part.Many thanks in advance for your tips!

Proof of delay

Anyone experience a delay compensation request?I just discovered that the delay compensation starts @ 1 hour and i already have 3 different days of more than an hour delay. It is not clear what proof you need and what proof I can get a few days after the fact ( Does services like zugfinder count?). Does Interrail self find the delays?

Language problem on the App

The app uses Spanish as default language. Even if somebody sends me a trip (link) everything is translated in Spanish?How do i change that??I find English difficult enough. I prefer Dutch.Please give an answer 🙏

Free bus travel in France

This may be a really simple question, but just want to double check! I saw that with the interrail pass in France, it’s eligible for free bus travel. Does this work in the same way as the trains do e.g. it’s only free if you use it on a day of travel? Or is it free all the time?Thank you :)

Hi,my name is Paola and I come from Italy. Among my passions are travel: when I can, I particularly like traveling by train, calmly admiring the various landscapes that follow one another while looking out of the windows.I'm organizing a train trip to Belgium with my family, but unfortunately I've become afraid of certain types of routes, which I've never had!Does anyone know if there are long tunnels along the Munich-Stuttgart/Nuremberg-Frankfurt-Cologne-Brussels route? 1st class worth during winter?

Hello everyone,I'm slowly planning my trip in Europe. Since there's nice promotion I have doubts if is worth to pay extra for 1st class.I'm going to travel in January and February. 3-5 days of pass I'll probably use for Scandinavian country, rest probably for South of the Europe and 1 day I'm planning to for night train for my return.To be honest I never ride a train for long distance during the winter. Last year during summer I used 7 days to trip in West Europe, but it was 2nd class.More specific questions:1. You guys think is worth to pay extra for 1st class?2. Seat reservations fee is same like in 2nd class? 3. What happens if I'll have 2nd class ticket and I book seat for 1st class? 4. How occupied are the trains in Scandinavians countries especially during the winter.5. Night train with couchettes/sleeper have different for 1st/2nd class and can I book it?

Taking a bus in the middle of my interrail trip

Hii! I’m planning on buying the global 10 days within 2 months pass. I would like to travel from Rijeka (Croatia) to Trieste (Italy) but according to the rail planner app it would take like 5,5 hours by train. Instead, a flixbus would take only 1h 50 mins. So, is it possible that I use an alternative transportation from one country to another in the middle of my trip? Or do I need to use only my Interrail pass? Is this a good way to save one travel day for my pass or will something go wrong? :DThanks in advance!

How to change Mobile global pass to Paper pass

I don’t like reviews of Rail planner app and it not easy to use. I can’t make reservations and it is hard to find the train schedule( no anytime exist, must enter specific time and always not available)I want to change my mobile global pass to paper pass and get reservations at the station. I just bought it with promotion (25%discount)and also bought a Plus to insure.Thank you in advance

How to use the Eurail

I’m planning to go on a cruise from Genoa in Feb 2024.I need to know which is the best way to travel from Genoa to Rome as i will be staying in Rome for a week after the cruise. I would also like to visit Florence, Venice, Verona and Milan. I need some guidance please as to what is the best option.

Different availability for Eurail vs Interrail

I have been using the belgian rail website as recommended by another member in order to check the availability for pass holders of trains in France and the eurostar to London, however, it is not showing the same availability for Eurail and Interrail passes. As I live in Europe I need an Interrail pass.  I want to travel from London to Lille or Paris on the 27th of December (2 passengers), when Interrail is selected then there is no availability at all, when Eurail is selected, all the trains appear to be available.  Is this just some kind of glitch?  I can’t think why there would be a different number of seats for Interrail vs Eurail passes. I don’t want to buy the pass if the train is not available and I don’t know which one to trust, would it be a problem to book the reservation under a Eurail pass but actually have an Interrail pass?  Is there a better/different website I should try?Thanks!
