By accident my mobile deleted all the data of the apps including the data of the Interrail, when trying to log in it warns me that the pass is activated on another device when it is the same one. I leave on Thursday, September 1, and I wouldn't want to miss the trip so I hope this is fixable. I’ve already emailed to the two costumer services available. I’m scared that I wont get a response that’s why I’m reaching for help through all means

Hello,When I would like to use a 25% discount (for Piz Gloria for example), as a holder of the Interrail pass, is it required to go on this excursion on one of my travel days? Or may this excursion be planned on an no-travel day as well (still receiving the discount)? We are staying close to the start of an excursion and it would help not using 1 of our travel days when planning our trip to the Piz Gloria :).Thanks a lot in advance!Best regards, Max
Urgent help needed - I am travelling this morning 19.08. I’ve lost my phone with my interrail pass activated there - I need to activate it on my new device. I would really appreciate if you can help me asap with a pass transfer on my new device, I am currently boarding the train to France and will then continue my journey to Italy - I have all my seat reservations ready but I can’t access my interrail pass. Please let me know asap. Many thanks,Andreea
We are traveling with a group and I imported the shared trips into my mobil app (IOS v25.0.0). I have activated my pass and it is connected to my shared trip. When I go to trips, it is empty, I do not see the shared trips. Am I doing something wrong? My friends on other devices do see the shared trips. Marjelle
Dear Interrail Community,Me and my boyfriend gonna start our first Interrail tour tomorrow. We took a flight to Istanbul and wanna go back to Germany. He has a 5 days global pass. The problem is now that it seems like he lost his first travel day (outbound) because he is not travel outbound just inbound. Is there a possibility to use this valuable ticket for a trip outside of the country of residence? Hopefully I was clear in my description. I tried my best to find the answer in the community questions but couldn't find that specific case.Thank you for thinking with us! Kind regards from Istanbul
Hello,my girlfriend is from Thailand but has a language Visa in Germany for the next 6 months. We are wondering if she should buy an interrail or an eurail 3 months ticket. It seems to me that the difference is that the interrail ticket only allows to travel out and back into the country of residence once, whereas the eurail ticket doesn’t have that restriction:from the interrail general conditions: The Interrail Global Pass is valid for travel in your country of residence during one outbound journey and one inbound journey that occur during travel days at any point in your trip. Read more eurail general conditions don’t include that sentence. That would mean that she could use the 3 months ticket for all of her train travels even within Germany, including public transportation in town etc. From the info on the eurail website (https://www.eurail.com/en/help/interested-in-eurailing/do-i-need-a-eurail-or-an-interrail-pass), I understand that she can choose to use interrail instead, but do
A number of routes south of Stuttgart are operated by “Hohenzollerische Landesbahn (SWEG)”.The PDF that lists German operators, https://www.interrail.eu/content/dam/pdfs/internationale-passangebote-jan-2021.pdf, has this to say about SWEG and doesn’t mention Hohenzollerische Landesbahn at all. This can be interpreted as meaning that the following SWEG routes are excluded;- Eyach HzL to Hechingen Landesbahn- Hechingen to Gammertingen to Sigmaringen- Balingen(Württ) to Schömberg(b Balingen)- Mengen to Stockach to RadoflzellThe pass has just let me add all of these for tomorrow (Sunday August 21st).Which is right? The PDF or the pass?My normal rule for German private railways is that the pass is accepted on routes that were operated by DB in the 80s and 90s and is not accepted on routes that were private in the 80s/90s.These routes were private in the 90s so my current thought is that the pass is not accepted and I should buy a 9 EUR ticket. In contrast, Tuebingen to Sigmaringen (not via G
I planned my journey today from Barcelona to my country, the Netherlands. I got the option if I was certain if I wanted to use my last inbound journey, which I agreed to.After the first train, I got stuck which meant I couldn't take the original train over the border to the Netherlands anymore. I had to book a different route, but now I can't activate my journey since it says I have no travels left.I tried to delete the original journey, but this had no effect. Has others had this, and what do I do if they check my interrail ticket?
Dear Interrail community,I read in the news that Spain plans to make their trains free in September. As it happens, I am doing an interrail tour through Spain late August-September.However I was not able to find out if the trains are free for foreigners as well (I am from Austria). Does anybody know?I already booked & reserved all of my trains for my journey, however the free September would be convenient for me anyway because then I can make a few spontaneous day trips without using my pass.
Hi! If I use my outbound/inbound trips at the start of my trip (e.g. home country is UK I enter UK via train then leave UK via train), then does this finish my 3 month pass? or can I continue to travel for 3 months on that pass but just not enter/leave my home country on the pass? Thanks in advance!
Hi all,I saw an offer for an interrail ticket on another website, they couldn't go themselves and are selling their ticket for a discount. They told me that their name will be on the ticket but when I activate the ticket, I can place my own information on it and won't have any troubles with it. Is that true? Can you change the information on the ticket? With kind regards, Sharlo
Is it worth buying a rail pass if I’m about to spend a couple of weeks in the Baltic countries? I’m starting in London, taking 4 days to go to Köln - Berlin - Warsaw - Bialystok before getting a coach to Vilnius. Could I use a rail pass to travel between Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia? It seems like the best idea would be to pay for individual trips for each step of my journey, rather than pay a few hundred dollars for a pass when I might not use it in the Baltic countries? Thanks!
